"The location is quite remote, with a school nearby. The walk from the hotel to Bernkastel-Kues takes about half an hour, not the advertised 15 minutes. The rooms are modern and clean, but room service is only available upon request. Breakfast is okay, but nothing more. The selection of cold cuts and cheeses was very limited and offered no variety. We had booked half-board, which wasn't worth the extra €30. It was convenience food; nothing was freshly cooked. The dinner service staff was overwhelmed, which was also due to the hotel's organization. One person was responsible for both reception and service. A friendly inquiry about whether we needed anything else never came; we had to chase after them and ask. Once, we arrived at 7:15 pm (dinner is served from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm), and the selection was meager; nothing was replenished. The appetizers (salads) were gone, and the main course was only available in fragments. This shouldn't happen at €30 per person. Conclusion: Price-performance ratio for overnight stay with breakfast is okay, weakness in service (staff shortage?) and location further out than described."

"Very nice 3 star hotel with excellent value for money. Rooms are spacious and well decorated, certainly for a 3 star hotel. Several buildings, all around the main building. Breakfast ist excellent. Lots of choices, fresh orange jus, excellent selection of cheeses and cold cuts. We had 2 evenings dinner in the restaurant. Food is good, at reasonable prices. Nice asparagus specialties. Excellent wine list with 1200 different wines. You can find some real bargains on this list. All in all excellent value for what you get and a great place to explore the Mosel region. Staff is nice and friendly as well. Will certainly come back when I am around again."

Recommendation: if you want to increase invoicing start with service in the bar!!!! Food quality is nearly fast food ingredients level. Pool service: not existing."
