"The guest rooms are divided into several buildings. Since they were in separate buildings, I wore warm winter clothes when I needed to go to the reception building for meals or other reasons. As a result, the separate buildings were only occupied by guests and kept quiet. Also, since they were far from the city center, there were no other people around. Each building had a shared shower, toilet, refrigerator, kitchen, and kettle. There were no TVs, but the Wi-Fi was strong and not an issue. Breakfast was a buffet, and the quality and quantity of food was more than enough."

"Amazing for budget travellers, as it is much cheaper than other accommodation in longyearbyen. However, the rooms are considerably smaller, and the walls are quite thin so it can get quite noisy. The biggest disadvantage is the distance from the city center, you may need to walk a good 40 minutes to get in and out of the hostel"

"Excellent, highly recommended. I stayed for 3 nights. The rooms were small, but the common areas were very spacious and comfortable. Even if you didn't go out sightseeing, just sitting on the sofa was enjoyable. The restaurant and breakfast were also very good, with comfortable decor. We happened to be there on a snowy day, so we could enjoy breakfast while watching the snow fall. Although the bathrooms were shared, there were many stalls, so there was basically no wait. They were clean and spacious. The location was okay, a bit far from the city center, about a 15-minute walk. You need to cross a river behind the guesthouse, which offers a different view. I would recommend this place more than a hotel!"

"Clean rooms, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, and a convenient location for getting to the city center. Overall, I was very satisfied with this hotel. The location seems even better than the Radisson Blu."

"This was a nice apartment and the staff (located in the main hotel) were helpful. The location is great. The reason for the 3 stars is the noise at the weekend. I know we were told the bar might be a bit noisy but it's more than that ....at the weekend there was live music and karaoke Friday and Saturday night until 2am....ok but then everyone leaves at the same time and stands under our window shouting until 2:30am. Not possible to sleep. Then the ones who are staying in the lodge come in and bang snow off their shoes it was unbearable. I have two suggestions, the Bar should remind customers that people in the area may be sleeping so they should leave quietly (this happens at many bars around the world)...and there should be a sign in the lodge requesting people don't bang their feet late at night. We slept well on Sunday night and had a lovely time in Svalbard. "

"Warm and unique hotel. It's situated in the heart of the city. very clean and comfortable. The hotel has excellent breakfast service. The hotel staff is the most crucial factor. They truly make you feel welcome and are incredibly kind and helpful. The personnel who are bringing us breakfast are really helpful and kind.They provide delicious breakfasts that are free of gluten and dairy. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to have a unique experience in Svalbard."
