"My stay at Belavista Da Luz – Wellness & Lifestyle Hotel from March 1 to March 5, 2026 was absolutely exceptional from the very moment I arrived. The experience began with a wonderful welcome at reception. Ina, the receptionist who greeted me, was incredibly friendly, warm, and highly professional. She kindly offered me an early check-in, which immediately made me feel like a valued and special guest. She also took the time to explain everything about the hotel, which I truly appreciated. My room was fantastic — comfortable, beautiful, and perfectly prepared. I would also like to give special thanks to the restaurant team, and especially to Mario. He is an incredible person — extremely attentive, caring, and genuinely dedicated to the guests. As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised when he offered me a special food option that was not even part of the standard breakfast. The vegetables prepared for me were absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. This thoughtful gesture meant a lot to me. Another lady at the reception, whose name I unfortunately do not remember, was also very kind, welcoming, and helpful. I give the hotel my highest rating and warmest recommendations. "Reception is friendly, quick and uncomplicated. Willing to help/answer to any question/request. Location is fine as a base or stopover to visit Algarve (Benagil, Lagos, Sagres etc.) by car. Competitive price and all rooms look good with a view on the pool and the sea, good bathroom. Only downsides are that the room is missing some cutlery/dishes/coffee/tea, since the bar/restaurant is not to be recommended. Overall, when I am traveling this part of Portugal by car again I would definitely book here."

"We have stayed here 5 times in total, but will not be back. I’ve always had a good rapport with the owner (over email), but she didn’t even seem bothered to reply, prior to our stay. While there, she sent a cleaner down to the pool area to tell us (a group of 4) to be quiet, as long stay guests were trying to read their books. No compromise, no discussion. We have since found a nice spot in Alvor, where all guests are treated with respect, and the food offering is far superior."

"The facilities at the resort are top notch. We had a lot of rain so having an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna helped pass the rainy days. The grounds are beautiful and well manicured. We had maid service every week. The one bedroom unit we had was very spacious. Just a note that the two restaurants on site are not open until the first of March. The restaurant by one of the 5 pools did serve breakfast starting mid February. A 4 minute walk to the beach and bus stop. Many many restaurants in the area. We loved the village as it was quiet. Not a party town although, there is always action around the beach pubs and restaurants. The resort is beautifully lit up at night. So is the beach area."
