"Very pleasant welcome....small but functional room..On the other hand, missing light in the staircase and in the bedroom on one side of the bed....for the shower it is not easy to wash when the shower is blocked. .just the tap in the bathtub.....and above all, you have to plug in a radiator to be warm in the room, A little disappointing when you have just traveled 500 km The rooms could do with a little refreshing"

"The room was nice enough thought the bathroom was not quite clean, The gardens could be better cared for. This is a shame as it is a lovely building with great potential, the library breakfast room and especially the dining hall are marvelous. The staff are sparse, and the few that are around are overworked. Dinner was very disappointing, perhaps they should employ a chef that does not burn rice? I will not be returning."

"Second visit was a disappointment. Booked two double rooms, close to each other, both with a bath which was acknowledged by the hotel. On arrival after the check in time one room was a double on first floor, other was a twin room on ground floor, double had a bath, no plugs and water was barely warm, twin had only a shower. Double room had not been hoovered, visible dirt on floor and cleaner arrived after an hour and just burst into the room unannounced. Will not book again and no acknowledgement by staff re the issues."

"The establishment is located on the outskirts of Floing in North eastern France about 20 minutes from the Belgium border.The setting is very rural with a large pond on the property. The pond is a refuge for resident ducks and other birds. Fields of orchards and meadows with horses and cows surround the property. It is a quiet retreat in nature, well managed by attentive owners who will go out of their way to make the guess comfortable. There is plenty of parking on the property and all the rooms have private entrances. A separate communal room with kitchenette is also available to the guess. Breakfast is served in the main house, family style with local jams and breads."
