"The hotel's overall decor is luxurious and grand, with a European classical style that feels very warm and comfortable. The service at check-in was excellent; they proactively guided me to my room. However, I was not satisfied with the room facilities. The hand towel by the sink was severely damaged, and there was a chip on the edge of the bathtub, posing a safety hazard. On the other hand, the sleeping area in the room was a very pleasant experience. The bathroom having its own independent air conditioning system is a feature many hotels lack, which was a nice touch. The breakfast experience was particularly bad – messy and completely lacking in management and service. In terms of decor and luxury, the hotel certainly meets five-star standards. However, in terms of management and service, it falls short of even mid-range chain hotels."

"My trip to Mount Tai was full of surprises, starting right from check-in – a free room upgrade! The front desk lady smiled and said I was lucky, but I thought to myself: this isn't luck, it's this hotel warming my heart. The free parking also won me over. Once I parked my car, I didn't move it again. I used the money I saved on parking to treat myself to some Taishan fried chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The room was so clean I actually wondered if the cleaning staff used a microscope. The bed was so comfortable that the moment I lay down, I felt like I was glued to it. I had planned to get up early to climb Mount Tai, but the bed 'kidnapped' me until noon – oh well, the mountain isn't going anywhere, comfort comes first. The location is absolutely unbeatable. It’s so close to the high-speed rail station that I was there before I even knew it after getting off the train. It’s also near Taohua Valley, so I could avoid the crowds entering the mountain, and it was even within walking distance, saving time and effort. In summary: This hotel is so good, I want to recommend it every time I stay there."

"They claim to be five-star, but this might be the worst Wanda Realm I've ever stayed in. All the upholstered furniture was tattered and worn out. The carpets were also covered in a lot of dust. The hotel has a 'hui'-shaped corridor design, which means the corner rooms have two doors right next to each other, making it very disruptive when people enter and exit. There are large gaps under the doors, allowing you to see shadows of people walking by, and there's absolutely no soundproofing. The hairdryer was the cheapest kind; completely useless for anyone with long hair. The only positive was the bath amenities, a full set of Acca Kappa."

"The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and they even upgraded our room for free! The hotel's location is excellent, making transportation super convenient. Our room was spotless, the TV had screen mirroring, and the whole room was smart-enabled. They even deliver takeout directly to your room. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the restaurant offers a great view of Mount Tai. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. It's also a short walk to Dai Temple. We'll definitely be back!"

"I've stayed in hotels for twenty or thirty years, and this is the first time it felt so much like home. Bringing the whole family to the hotel was exhausting, and I thought check-in would be complicated, but it wasn't. The front desk lady was incredibly gentle and patient, even giving us little gifts and fruit. As soon as we entered, the greeter on the right was fantastic; seeing I had elderly folks and kids, he immediately took our luggage, brought it directly to our room, adjusted all the equipment, and then left. I was going to tip him, but a cleaning lady came in to get something, and he just turned and left, so I felt awkward. The next day, we were climbing Mount Tai, and halfway up, I suddenly realized I'd lost my pair of 999 pure gold earrings. I called the hotel's customer service, half-heartedly asking if they found them to contact me, otherwise, no big deal. To my surprise, the hotel staff called in the afternoon saying they'd found them! Five or six staff members, all for a pair of not-so-valuable earrings, turned the entire room upside down multiple times, searching for hours. They found one in the bathroom and another under the bed. I am truly grateful. Although it's a small thing, it made me feel that the environment and human quality in Tai'an are truly exceptional. I usually dislike visiting Beijing and Shanghai the most, so I never expected the service quality at this hotel to be so good, and it's not because the earrings were less than a gram and not worth much. After descending the mountain in the afternoon, my legs were giving out, and I was in a hurry. My sister went to retrieve the car from the parking space, so I didn't even get a chance to properly thank these staff members. I can only express my gratitude through this review. You all worked hard, thank you! Thank you all so much for leaving me with such wonderful memories in Tai'an, making me want to come back again. Thank you, everyone, for your hard work! 🙏"

"The price was very reasonable, and the front desk staff provided excellent service, even upgrading us to a room with a private bathroom. The hotel offers a guide in the morning for a sunrise hike to another peak, which is less crowded than Ri Guань Peak, making it easier to find a good spot for photos. The overall hotel environment is great. Our room was in the basement and a bit damp, but it was very clean. Considering its location on the mountaintop, the conditions were quite good. The views of Mount Tai are fantastic. I recommend checking the weather forecast in advance; unfortunately, the sunrise was blocked by clouds during our stay, which was a bit disappointing. The advantage of booking this hotel is that the mountaintop attractions aren't too busy the afternoon before, but by the time we finished watching the sunrise the next morning, it was packed with people. Not having to hike up at night made it a less strenuous experience overall."

"This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The room was spotless and tidy, and the wooden decor made it feel both cozy and upscale. The huge mirror made the space feel incredibly spacious. The mountain and city views from the window were amazing, and watching the sunset in the evening was absolutely beautiful. The bedside projector was a great bonus too; it was so pleasant to snuggle in bed and watch movies at night. I had a very comfortable stay and will definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town!"

"The location is great, just a ten-minute drive from Tai'an Station. There's a shopping mall and an old street right next to the hotel with plenty of restaurants and snack options. The staff at the hotel lobby were very friendly and helpful, answering all my questions. The breakfast was rich and varied. I was also able to store my luggage while hiking Mount Tai and pick it up after I was done. Everything was perfect except for one thing: there's always a truck parked in front of the hotel entrance, making it impossible for ride-sharing services with luggage to pull up directly to the door. Guests have to get out nearby and drag their luggage in themselves, which was the case both when I arrived and when I left. It seems like this truck is permanently parked there. I don't understand why the hotel entrance, designed for guests with luggage, isn't kept clear for easy drop-off and pick-up. I'm docking one point for this and hope the hotel can improve it! Otherwise, the hotel is really great and I highly recommend staying here!"

The rooftop terrace offers stunning mountain views and starry nights, creating an amazing atmosphere. The owner is warm and thoughtful, providing complimentary hiking poles, raincoats, and other gear, and the breakfast is delicious. The attention to detail is superb, with a smart toilet, shoe dryer, and foot spa bucket readily available – incredibly practical for unwinding after a hike. "Here are the things I liked about the hotel: 1. The location is pretty good, right next to Shenghe Shopping Plaza. There are a few stir-fry restaurants nearby that are really tasty. I recommend Guanghe Stir-fried Chicken; we got a coupon online for a 79 RMB double meal and couldn't even finish it all! A taxi to the Tianwaicun Tourist Center at Mount Tai was only 13 RMB. 2. The hotel room was well-maintained, and the bed was quite comfortable. 3. The service was also great. We received welcome fruit upon arrival, and water and snacks when checking out. They even upgraded us to a mountain view room, and we could see the Mount Tai scenery as soon as we entered. 4. Breakfast was quite substantial, and they even had roasted sweet potatoes. My only minor complaint is that the air conditioning was a bit loud. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs. Also, the hotel lobby decor felt a bit dated. Just my personal experience, hope it helps!"

GGuest UserSaw this hotel on the way to Mount Tai and decided to stop here on the way back. The room was spacious and bright with a great view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The neighborhood is also quite quiet with good greenery. Dinner at the downstairs restaurant was average overall; the best dishes were the water chestnut meatball soup and spinach pancakes. The sweet and sour fish had a nice presentation with the sauce poured tableside, but the batter was too thick. The fried dough sticks (youtiao) were too hard and almost broke a tooth. Breakfast had a moderate variety of items, and the specialty pancakes and 'dalumian' (noodles with thick gravy) were delicious.

GGuest UserI'm a huge fan of Atour and a platinum member. Whenever I travel, I always choose Atour hotels. This stay at Atour Pangutiandi in Tai'an was a bit different from my usual experience. When I booked, I only looked at the price and overlooked the breakfast count. At check-in, I asked the lady at the front desk what I could do, and she immediately sorted it out for me. After checking out and while we were on our way to Qufu, we received a call from the Atour Tai'an front desk. My clothes were left in the room! After she contacted me, she immediately sent them via SF Express to the Atour hotel where I was staying in Qufu. When I offered to pay for the shipping, they said they would cover the cost, which really touched me. My main reason for loving Atour is that their breakfast caters to almost all tastes, and the comfort of their bedding truly makes you feel at home. Keep up the great work, Atour! I'll continue to be a loyal fan! They even gave me a lovely souvenir when I checked out, which I absolutely adore! 😘

Mmtq14Amazing hotel. Didn’t know it was connected to Taishan Grand Hotel. Located right next to the Daimiao Temple, the hotel is at an amazing location if you want to take the pilgrimage route of starting the ascent to Mount Tai / Taishan. Took me about 4 hours to go from the temple (which is right next to the hotel) to the summit of Taishan. Absolutely amazingly kind and generous and helpful staff (especially if you’re a foreigner!). Took their sweet time to explain me things and help me out with my blunders. Would absolutely stay here again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE considering to book it without thinking twice!!

NNestor MichaelI chose this hotel for the proximity to Tai Shan because I wanted to do hiking there for a few days. It is very close to the Hongmen entrance, but it is on a small residential hilly street and can be hard to find, especially at night. The owner, however, provides great pickup service if one is lost near the hotel, so he helped me out a couple of times when I couldn’t find the hotel but was very close to it. He does not speak English but is very good with the translation app. They have one washing machine for laundry that they offer for free along with the detergent, and provide hangers to dry the clothes on a rooftop line, which worked well for me because it was very sunny that day.

GGuest UserLuck is super good, I booked the room when I met the peony flower, and I smelled the fragrance of flowers as soon as I entered the small courtyard. The design display of the small bridge and green plants in the yard is very comfortable; the service is very good, the front desk lady is very friendly and kind; Although the breakfast is not rich, it tastes very good. It is all based on breakfast to support my energy of walking up and down the mountain for 7 hours. The hotel environment is very quiet. The Red Gate mountaineering is also very close. It takes 18 minutes to get to the Red Gate ticket gate. It is equivalent to eating breakfast. Warm up; The comprehensive experience is super satisfied, I recommend everyone to come to the small courtyard in mid-April, it is really full of flowers in the garden ～

BBeibeixiaoguidangjiaThe B&B was a surprise. It is located by the water. The scenery is pleasant, quiet and warm. The room is comfortable and spacious. The boss gave me fruits. There is a large bathtub and a disposable bathtub cover is provided, so I took a nice soak. Breakfast is a fixed set meal, which includes boiled eggs, milk, grilled sausages, custard buns, rice porridge, stir-fried vegetables, pickles and noodles. If it is not enough, you can add more. The next day, they also made egg fried rice at our request, which was very considerate. The chef is very capable, and all the dishes he ordered taste great. I like the prawns braised with cabbage, beans braised with pork ribs, and hand-shredded cabbage. It's right next to the bus stop, and you can take the mountain bus in 10 minutes' walk.

EemilysdreamsTo be honest, my initial reason for booking was to make my Mount Tai trip less rushed. I was also a bit worried that the courtyard layout might be noisy. GGuest UserBetter than expected! The hot water was good, and it was pretty quiet until midnight. There's a restaurant, and it's less than a 30-minute walk to Yuhuangding. Once you reach Nantianmen, you can check in, rest up, and then continue your journey, which makes it much less tiring. It's also very close for watching the sunrise in the morning. After sunrise, you can come back to the hotel for breakfast and then rest in your room for a bit before leisurely heading down the mountain. I saw so many people who hiked overnight; they looked rushed and exhausted, with many just lying down on the spot to sleep. One girl was even sleeping on the steps outside a restaurant – it was heartbreaking to see. So, if you don't have the stamina, don't push yourself too hard. Your health is important. Just my personal opinion.
