I immediately went to the front desk on the first floor to explain the room situation, and the receptionist accompanied us to our room on the 12th floor, where she changed our room. "The room is small, and the bed is tiny, which felt a bit cramped for a family of three. The hotel's public areas are beautifully designed with many Instagrammable spots, such as the cave pool, the lakeside Western restaurant, the coffee cabin, and the coconut grove. However, some areas seem to be designed solely for photo ops; for example, the cave pool is perfect for pictures but not suitable for children to swim in. Also, the hotel is split into two buildings. We stayed in one, while the restaurant, pool, and other facilities were in the other, requiring a five-minute walk outside between them, which was quite inconvenient. The room's curtains didn't block out light very well, and the bathroom mirror light and emergency light were too bright at night. If you're looking for great photo opportunities at Instagram-worthy spots, it's definitely worth a visit as it's very photogenic. But for a pure family vacation, there are better options."

"The hotel environment is great, and the staff are very enthusiastic. Both the indoor and outdoor pools, as well as the kids' water park, have heated water, making them perfect for families with children. Breakfast is plentiful, and the rooms have balconies where you can hang swimsuits to dry. Just be sure to close the screen door, or you'll have big mosquitoes at night. The only minor drawbacks: According to the pictures, the twin beds in the room looked like they could be pushed together, but there's actually a nightstand in between, so they can't be combined. This was a bit inconvenient when sleeping with a child. The layout of the in-room soaking tub and shower seemed reasonable but wasn't very practical. The tub's door is transparent, which isn't ideal for privacy, and the ventilation is a bit poor, making it stuffy after a short soak. The room's air conditioning was set only for heating. It's been a bit warm in Yuxi these past couple of days, so heating wasn't needed. Plus, if you close the curtains completely, it gets a bit stuffy. We had to leave the curtains open and rely on the screen door for ventilation. However, since the room faces east, we were woken up by the sun around 7 AM. Overall, the environment is very nice, but some of the room facilities are poorly designed. Remember to check behind the nightstand, and note that the room lights and outlets are hidden inside drawers."

"I traveled solo to Fuxian Lake, and this stay truly exceeded my expectations! First off, the room was spotless, really clean and fresh overall. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and it was so quiet at night – no noise at all. The hotel staff were excellent; the front desk even gave me detailed tips for sightseeing. Their service was thoughtful, they were warm and polite, and very efficient. When I was hungry, the butler promptly brought a thoughtful bowl of late-night congee – I was really touched! The breakfast was also delicious, just like homemade. All in all, it was a very comfortable stay and great value for money. The infinity pool on the fourth floor is unique and absolutely beautiful. I’ll definitely choose this place again next time!"
