"Large room and clean. Helpful staff. Parking okay, bit tight for the massive rental cars. You could ask for crockery/cutlery but were closed by 7pm when we returned with groceries so that wasn't great! No bedside lamps or empty sockets. Constantly dripping tap and broken towel rail. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Gatsby cabin. Its very cozy with a wonderful view over the lake, very secluded and quiet. We sat on the deck enjoying our evening drinks as we watched the birds. We enjoyed a dinner and breakfast hamper. For dinner we had the surf and turf. Fillet steaks and with garlic prawns fresh salad and chocolate dessert. All cooked on our bbq on the deck. For breakfast we had eggs, bacon, sausages, bread, croissants, muesli, yoghurt, orange juice and coffee. Yum. Nothing was skimped on. The bed is very comfy and the pillows just right. We will definitely be back!"

"Underwhelming experience, felt like a nice B&B actually. For the price, it didn’t feel like the accommodation was value for money. Our room(Room 1) was above the restaurant, which was a bit noisy & didn’t feel luxurious at all, the only entry up the stairs was via the restaurant & past the kitchen. The grounds themselves are gorgeous, can’t fault the location, just the value. The breakfast was really good as well. We’ve stayed at Spicers Potts Point as well & felt the same thing- not lux, just a nice B&B. You want to feel wowed by a Spicers!"

"Booked well in advance but someone forgot to organise the weather - and it pelted down! Drove into Montville as if we were in the middle of a cloud with visibility almost zero. Check-in was friendly and easy, and the cabin was waiting for us. It was spotlessly clean, the fridge was well stocked for two days breakfast and in addition to that there was a hamper on the table. We were certainly not wanting for breakfast. This was not an ordinary stay - the views were non-existent for most of the time - we were in the middle of either a rainstorm or cloud - yet, somehow, it enhanced the experience. Sleeping under a tin roof, rain coming down in buckets, and the falling branches doing their best to keep us awake really was a novel time. Perhaps the most novel experience was the hot tub on the "enclosed"' verandah. While open to the air, the roof and modesty wall were sufficient enough to prevent the rain intrusion - sitting in the tub, good bottle of red, some nuts what could be better? It really was sitting in the top of the trees experiencing nature. We will come back one day during "normal" times. In all, there would be only a couple of things we would make comment on - perhaps a little more milk (but we could organise extra) and in all the rain and wind there was no covering for vehicles - some of the branches falling were not real small. But a great place for a couple to spend some time together."

"A wonderful getaway in a lush green environment. Facilities are great, including infinity pool, warm hot tub, covered bbq area, tv viewing room laundry and kitchen. All facilities include tools and condiments. The property is well presented and maintained. Access to streaming services and everything you could want in your room. A lovely place that cares for wildlife. Very impressed."
