Mirage Hotel ★★★
"We were a little apprehensive before we flew out due to the negative reviews on here. However, absolutely no reason to have been! We are still here now and having a lovely time. Hotel is exactly as you see in the pictures. If you feel that it looks dated and the colour scheme doesn't suit then don't book. Rooms are bright, fresh and cleaned daily and our room had definitely been modernised as fittings and bed fittings felt new. Our cleaner is lovely, friendly and does a thorough job. Fresh towels every day. Yes they are thin but do the job and personally I wouldn't want a big fluffy towel whilst I'm on my summer holiday! Hotel staff are nice but a little reserved. Try saying hello, good morning and thank you to them and they are full of smiles. Breakfast is plentiful. Other reviews have said inedible. I would say that's going a little far. Lots of choice. Fresh fruit, bread, toaster, continental meats and salad, pancakes, fresh honey and yes English breakfast products! Now the English breakfast range is not great but the hotel have tried to cater for everyone. This is not an all English hotel it's multi cultural. I would say the English part of breakfast was the only disappointment in the hotel which is good going really. You would have to be extremely fussy if you can't find something to eat here and that comes from someone who has family members with allergies and even they would find something to eat. Other reviews mention seagulls. OK so Nessebar does have seagulls (surprise surprise - it's by the sea!) But this morning I observed 5 cleaners and a pool man cleaning around and in the pool at 8am. They wash down all the sunbeds with a brush and hose and the floors around the pool area. What more can they do? The seagulls don't fly around you during the day and don't come near the pool until people have gone. Pool area has free and good quality sunbeds and view over the beach. No fighting for sunbeds. Some people were reserving at 8am but really no need. We went down on first day at 10am and got front row overlooking the sea and lots more available around the pool. We had a Seaview room overlooking the pool and had a beautiful view as far as the old town. Comfy double bed, excellent air conditioning and the sound of the sea right outside. Beach right in front of hotel is a long gorgeous sandy beach with loads of sunbeds. Cost 15 euro for 2 beds an umbrella and a table. Payable in cash to sunbed man. Beach is cleaned every night and morning. Tractors sweep the beach in the evening and all sunbeds are put back in place. In the mornings there are beach cleaners who come round and litter pick where needed. Old town is absolutely gorgeous. We walked into the old town along the seafront in about 20 mins. You can also walk via the new town and road if you want. We have walked into old town most nights. Loads of restaurants and bars and good price even seafront restaurants. Local restaurants near the hotel are nice. Almost every day we hav"

Family Hotel Romantik ★★
"My friend and I decided to visit Sunny Beach and we just chose a random hotel. It turned out to be a comfortable experience and we are very happy with the hotel. The room was standard with a hair dryer, mini-fridge, nice air-conditioning, a balcony and an ironing board in the hallway just outside. Both the bathroom and the main room were really clean. I could not see a spot of dirt or stains anywhere. I even checked the mattress, and it looked brand new. The hotel is also very quiet at night and you don’t get disturbed by the partying in town when you want to sleep. It seemed that the reception was manned 24/7 and it felt safe. The family that runs the hotel is really friendly and I can tell they are working hard to keep the rooms in good condition. They are also helpful with anything you might need. For instance; They drove us to a far away beach for a good price when we didn’t want to travel with the local taxi cars. They have a pool, which we didn’t try, but we checked it out and it looked squeaky clean as well. We also felt safe with leaving our belongings in the room, such as passports and expensive clothing. Oh, and the hotel is located in a good spot. It is close enough to the beach, close to restaurants, supermarket etc. They even offered free parking when we rented a car."
Garden of Eden Complex ★★★★★
"The Garden complex in Bulgaria is an excellent choice for a holiday, it is very large, offers about eight swimming pools, several restaurants and a nice and helpful service. A great location, close to the beach, makes your stay extremely comfortable and we'll be happy to return there."
Hotel Zenith ★★★
"We are very pleased with the attitude of Manager Atanasova and the bellboy Stanislav, they were always available whenever we needed them. We will recommend it to friends 😊"
Ivana Palace Hotel - Free Parking ★★★★
"Since the hotel is already quite old and has clearly seen better days, we did not expect anything particularly special, although there are always things that could be improved. The reception desk looks more like something you would find in a bank or office, behind glass. The glass is covered with printed A4 sheets containing various notices, warnings about fines, and other information. All of this could be presented in a much nicer and more welcoming way. We had never experienced a hotel where you cannot check in before 3 p.m. before. Okay, we can live with that. However, hotels usually at least provide towels and some basic information, wifi or instructions while you wait. At this hotel, there apparently were no pool towels at all. Even so, someone could at least have explained where everything was located. We had to ask ourselves where we could leave our luggage, wifi, how to get electricity in the room etc. The lobby itself is cold and unwelcoming, almost as if it were located in some kind of outdoor hall. The waiting/seating areas on the different floors, along the corridors, are even worse — just a leather sofa and a table, with no plants, artwork, or any other decorative elements to make the space feel warm or inviting. Very big empty cold hall. We found the lobby toilet where we could change our clothes. Obviously, you do not leave the toilet door wide open while changing, even if you are doing something by the sink. At one point, a cleaner suddenly came in, shouted at me angrily, and said that the door must always be left open. Okay, I guess next time guests are expected to change their clothes in front of people passing through the corridor. The receptionists do not speak much English, and they have difficulty understanding anything more detailed or specific. The room key is not a card. Instead, there is one key for two people, with a heavy metal tag attached to it, about the size of a room key card. later we found out it was also the card used to activate the electricity in the room. That was a first for us. The room itself was okay, nothing fancy. Plastic garden chairs at the balcony, dirty sidetable, that was never cleaned from the dust. The one thing that is always a problem with these small hotell, is that the cleaners apparently never want to sweep or mop the floors. There was already sand on the floor when we arrived. Towels were changed every day, and the bed linen every two-three days, but the floor and drinking glasses were never cleaned. No signs to put on the door, no information about the times or hotel or tv. No paper or pen. Unfortunately, our bathroom also had a serious problem. The bottom of the shower cabin was leaking, so just 10 seconds of washing your feet was enough to cause a flood on the bathroom floor. We asked four times for extra towels over several days, speaking to different receptionists each time, but never received them. Eventually, I asked to speak to the manager. We explained that, as everyt"
