Hotels in Nice Waterfront, Nice

This was a stylish hotel, and I had a very comfortable stay! Unlike in Japan, amenities like bathrobes, loungewear, and slippers weren't provided. However, I was grateful that the hand soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all L'Occitane products. The power outlets require you to push the plug firmly all the way in. I brought two types of adapters, but one of them didn't work with these outlets. There was a water dispenser in the hallway, which was really helpful for refilling my water bottle. The cleaning staff were very kind and flexible, for example, they were able to just exchange the towels when I requested it. The location was very convenient, with a bus stop right in front, a tram station nearby, and easy access to the ocean!

Facilities: A bit old-fashioned, the elevator to the rooms only fits two people. Cleanliness: It's still relatively clean and tidy. Environment: Due to its location, the surroundings are quite good. Service: There's almost no service to speak of. You can only check in at 3 PM and check out at 11 AM; if you arrive early, you just have to wait. Overall, because of this hotel's location and the views, I highly recommend it for those who love seeing the sea. However, if you have high expectations for service and facilities, you might want to reconsider.

The location is perfect, giving directly on the promenade. I like also the style of the hotel. Accessibility is difficult though, as there is no elevator : difficult with big luggage. The room was really clean, shower pressure was ok but a little low. Shower can leaked all over the floor. Overall, great hotel.

For us the hotel is perfectly positioned for our 4 night stay in Nice. We paid extra to use the carpark for our rental car. We ate our breakfasts outside, preferring croissants and coffee to a hotel breakfast. We were on the 5th floor and the lift was good. The receptionists were always helpful. Our room (56) was fine with a small balcony with a sea-view. Sheets and towels were very good. Useful was the bottle for water which could be refilled at reception and kept in the fridge. One minus point-the bedside tables were too small. Our stay was good and we would have no hesitation to staying here next time.

Great hotel in the very center with an excellent location. Everything is close by: shops, cafés, public transport, and direct access to the English Promenade. The hotel is cozy and charming, offering great value for the price. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We were very satisfied with our stay. Thank you!

I want to pat myself on the back for choosing this hotel; it was truly excellent. The location, service, cleanliness, and food were all impeccable. If you do choose this hotel, definitely include breakfast! You can see the ocean, and watching happy corgis stroll along the beach while you eat just makes you feel like a wonderful day is about to begin. The croissant was the best I had on the entire trip! The room had a bathtub, which was perfect for soaking away the fatigue after walking all over Nice. The bed was incredibly plush and guaranteed a good night's sleep, and if you're someone who hates being woken up by the morning sun, there are shutters on the window that you can close. The location is right in front of the sea; just cross the street and you're there. Place Masséna is about a 15-minute walk, and there's a laundromat about 5 minutes away. This is definitely a hotel I'd want to stay at again the next time I visit Nice!

If it is not a smaller size, this hotel is absolutely value for money. The staff is very friendly. There is a caring radiator in the bathroom. The clothes are washed and dry the next day. There is a coffee machine in the room. There is coffee tea. The most important thing is to open a kettle. This is really difficult. Expensive. Every morning I went out and found that the door handle had prepared croissants for us. There were also many mirrors behind the room (of course we lived in two rooms slightly different). I feel that this hotel can be worth 700+ if you don’t care about the exterior.

This hotel was honestly very frustrating. 1. The soundproofing is extremely poor. Every morning, you can hear the housekeeping staff knocking on nearby rooms to communicate or clean. I was woken up by the noise every single day. 2. Even if you hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign, the staff repeatedly ignore it and still knock on your door in the morning, invading your personal space. 3. On my first day, I forget to hang the sign. Yet the next morning they knocked persistently at 9, 10, and even 1 p.m I already opened the door the first time and clearly told them I didn’t need housekeeping, yet they kept coming back. 4. On the day of check-out, it was even worse. We had the sign up, and check-out time was 11 a.m., but they entered our room before we had checked out. What is this—some kind of unwanted morning call service? This seriously disturbed my rest and violated my privacy. Every morning I felt on edge because I could hear them knocking loudly on other doors and thought they were knocking on mine. the stay was very unpleasant. The only positive was the good location. Also, this wasn’t mentioned during booking, but the hotel requires a 150 euro deposit.

The location is excellent, very close to Promenade des Anglais, and a 5-6 minute walk to Nice Beach. There's an induction cooker and microwave, and other cookware and tableware are also provided. A bowl of hot noodle soup in the morning is enough to soothe a Chinese stomach after eating white food every day. Remember to bring your own condiments. Check-in and check-out are completely self-service; I didn't see a single staff member during my three nights. There are free umbrellas, beach mats, and beach towels available for rent in the hallway, which is very convenient. There's nothing more authentic than taking your own gear and enjoying Nice Beach.

Overall, I was satisfied, but I kept hearing a 'ding-dong' knocking sound, which I didn't experience on the 6th floor a few days ago. I'm on the 4th floor now, so maybe they're doing some maintenance. Also, a 100 Euro deposit is required for every stay, even though the full payment has already been made. This seems a bit unreasonable; even the famous Swiss hotels only charge a 1 Euro deposit. Hmm.
