Just two subway stops from the train station, and a short walk from the subway exit brings you right to Drum Tower. The Ting Hotel is directly opposite, making it super easy to find. It’s in the heart of the action for food, drinks, and entertainment. The front desk lady was very friendly and provided excellent service. Many attractions are nearby, like Tianyi Pavilion, Moon Lake, Drum Tower, Chenghuang Temple, and Nantang Old Street. Ningbo is quite interesting, blending ancient courtyards with modern architecture. The scenery is beautiful, with something picturesque at every turn. It truly embodies its slogan, 'Books stored since ancient times, ports connecting the world,' and is definitely worth a visit.

First time flying direct from Kaohsiung to Ningbo and I highly recommend this hotel! The stay was affordable, and the breakfast was surprisingly good, comparable to a star-rated hotel. Especially the female staff member at the front desk (night shift) on July 21st, who served our group of seven when we arrived at 9:30 PM. Even though we only stayed one night, her service was impeccable and made our trip so much more convenient. It definitely left us with a great impression of Ningbo tourism. The Chenghuang Temple Night Market, Tianyi Square, and Tianyi Pavilion are all fantastic places to explore!

All five-star reviews are solely for the amazing service provided by the Holiday Inn Express front desk staff. The gentleman was incredibly patient and helpful. He upgraded us to a family room at the neighboring Crowne Plaza, personally escorted us to check in, and even had fruits and drinks delivered to our room. We are truly grateful! Now, about the Crowne Plaza itself: we were in the South Tower, which has very outdated facilities. Upon check-in, we found the room to be quite dirty and messy. There wasn't a single good pillow, and the blankets even had bloodstains. We called the front desk and had them changed that night. I'm not sure if the bedding in the newly renovated North Tower is newer or cleaner. The hotel's only real advantage is its good location.

Overall, the stay was fantastic, highly recommended! The hygiene was impeccable; the entire place was spotlessly clean, making for a very comfortable stay. The service was an absolute bonus. The front desk staff were incredibly patient during check-in, not only helping me connect to the Wi-Fi but also thoughtfully offering sour plum juice to beat the heat. They actively assisted with carrying luggage to the room and patiently explained how to use each amenity. During check-out, they even prepared bottled water and snacks, showing great attention to detail. The uncle who brought the complimentary nightly sweet soup was very kind and enthusiastic, always asking if I wanted more and diligently answering any questions I had 👍. The room facilities were excellent, with electric curtains that could be controlled with a single button, making them convenient and adding a touch of luxury. This stay was truly perfect and well worth visiting.

This hotel used to be an IBIS, but now that they're independent, the savings are passed on to guests, making it great value for money. The vibe is perfect for backpackers, with creative artwork featuring names and images from around the world on the room walls. The location is excellent; you can take the subway directly to the airport and Ningbo Railway Station. Just exit from Gulou Subway Station's Exit A and it's a five-minute walk. Gulou itself is also about a ten-minute walk away. The area is quiet. In the evening, they even bring you warm milk – a nice touch! The front desk staff are very friendly.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Gulou and Tianyi Square. Nearby parks are within walking distance, and there's a wide variety of restaurants and snack bars along the street, making daily dining and shopping very convenient. The general cleanliness of the rooms is acceptable, with regular cleaning done adequately. However, the hotel building is quite old, and fixtures like furniture and bathroom facilities show obvious signs of aging, impacting the overall user experience. The window panes were heavily dusty and poorly cleaned, making the view outside hazy. Cleaning details need significant improvement. The front desk and service staff were indifferent, providing standard responses without proactive or thoughtful service. Overall, its prime location is a major plus for those who prioritize convenience for exploring and shopping. However, the outdated hardware, poor detailed cleaning, and subpar service are significant drawbacks. If you're looking for a high-quality stay, you might want to reconsider.

The location is fantastic, right by Tianyi Square, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and getting around. It's only about a two to three-minute walk to the subway station, and Intime Department Store is just across the street. The Old Bund is also a pleasant 10-minute stroll away. When we checked in, the lovely lady at the front desk upgraded us to a river-view room, which was very kind of her. Every day before heading out, we'd ask the front desk for a couple extra bottles of water, which was a nice thoughtful touch. Oh, and the air conditioning was super powerful! We had it set to 24℃ at night and still had to pull up the covers. Overall, a great experience!

The front desk kindly upgraded us to a 2-meter king-size bed room, with an expansive view outside the window where we could see the beautiful streetlights at night. The facilities were complete, and there was even a direct drinking water tap, which is great for tea lovers! The hotel's location is very convenient for transportation, close to Chenghuang Temple, Tianyi Pavilion, and Tianyi Square. If the weather isn't too hot, it's also very friendly for those who like to walk. The hotel also offers a self-service late-night snack, and after a day of exploring, a hot bowl of congee was incredibly comforting. There are also ice cream and coffee in the hotel lobby, which is a thoughtful touch. Atour is consistently good, highly recommended.

The room was great, the bed and pillows were really comfortable, and the shower offered good privacy. The tea was surprisingly delicious. Right downstairs is the City God Temple pedestrian street, so it was a little noisy, but not a big issue. The breakfast looked diverse, but honestly, none of it tasted very good. They should consider reducing the variety and focusing on quality instead.
