"When I ask for an upgrade twice and offer to pay for it and the front desk refuses it and the hotel is almost empty, I'm going to leave a bad review. Plain and simple. We paid for upgraded rooms through the entire trip and clearly someone lost the memo. The front desk told us we "were in the best upgraded room". Well, it had a physical key, other rooms had electronic key access, a view of a kids play area and a parking lot and according to the hotel map, definitely not the best they could offer. No closet, all the amenities were not included (you had to buy them), formica finishes. 1* room at best. Bike storage was really great, but I would go to Gorizia and skip Novo Gorica."

"I had a wonderful time, nice hotel, comfortable room, rich buffet breakfast. There is a lot of facilities in the hotel and surrounidngs, very friendy staff especially at the reception. I really loved being here and I will definitely come back again."

"The hotel is quite discent regarding the rooms but in fact it is a casino and the clients are not so well treated. I stayed there for five nights for professional reasons and I would say it was not a very positive experience. During the night drunk people knocked on my door coming back to their rooms from the casino. I have to say that they have a very good spa area and a quite good pool. If you are a gambler this is the right place. Not for families."
