"The hotel's location is a bit remote, but that's typical for hot spring hotels. I communicated with the front desk a few days before arrival. I sent them my high-speed rail information and scheduled a pickup at Changbaishan Station. So, despite the somewhat remote location, the hotel's shuttle service was excellent. The front desk staff were also very good. When I arrived, I had intended for the front desk to book a rafting trip for me, but it turned out the hotel's contract with the rafting company had expired, so we had to sort it out ourselves. (I had inquired with the front desk a week prior, and they said it could be arranged there. I was surprised to find upon arrival that the hotel had just canceled its contract with the rafting company.) I want to be clear, I'm not blaming the hotel; it was just bad luck. I do hope the hotel can continue to assist out-of-towners in the future, as foreigners often face difficulties booking things in China without local phone numbers. I wanted to see Tianchi Lake, but it was closed all three days I was there. Rafting was also out. So, I ended up staying at the hotel. However, I enjoyed several hot spring baths, visited the gym, and the hotel can also arrange skiing for you. We didn't go skiing because we had elderly people with us. So, staying at the hotel wasn't bad at all. There are only two restaurants: a Korean restaurant and the hotel's buffet. The food was good, but the dinner shrimp seemed to be limited. I arrived at 7:30 PM and only got two shrimp, while my dad got five. Then there were none left, and the restaurant staff didn't replenish them. The room was very large and clean. I particularly liked the rooms at this hotel. The hot spring has both indoor and outdoor sections. I might return in the future."

"The room was great! Even though the hotel has been open for a while, it's very well-maintained. The butler service was also fantastic; the young lady was super responsive and helpful with every request. After hiking Changbai Mountain all day, coming back to soak in the hot spring at night was incredibly relaxing. Five stars all around!"

"We had a pleasant stay, and the service from the team really stood out. The front desk staff gave us a complimentary room upgrade at check-in. Later, when the room felt a bit warm, they brought a standing fan to our room since the central cooling system couldn't be adjusted. It was a thoughtful gesture which we really appreciated. The breakfast offered a decent selection to start the day, and the hot spring (opens after 2pm) had enough pools to keep our kid entertained. Location wise, Changbaishan station is a mere 5mins ride away."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Erdaobaihe Town, with beautiful surroundings and a wonderful winter atmosphere. There are three deer on site that guests can interact with closely. Breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options. Our butler, Xiao Yu, was available 24/7 and provided exceptionally thoughtful service, promptly addressing any needs. The room's interior design is also very good, with a soft bed and a large bathtub, plus complimentary disposable tub liners. Every staff member was incredibly enthusiastic. It's even better than established five-star hotels like Hilton that I've stayed at before. For this price, to get such an environment and service, it's truly a no-brainer – just come!"

"The environment is fantastic, very clean, and well-equipped. The hot spring experience was also incredibly relaxing. Breakfast offered a great variety, but what truly stood out was the service. Right after check-in, a butler was assigned to us, ready to answer any questions and provide helpful reminders. There was even a dedicated shuttle service for the hot springs. Any issues we encountered were promptly resolved by the staff – their service-mindedness was truly impressive! The hotel's exclusive access to Changbai Mountain was very convenient. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and I'll definitely be back!"

No need to wake up early to rush or get stuck in traffic, which saved us so much time. All around, there are restaurants, supermarkets, and shops, so everything you need is right at your doorstep. The room was clean and tidy, the environment was comfortable and quiet, and the service was warm and attentive – they really paid attention to the details. It's perfect whether you're traveling with family, friends, or a group, and the value for money is exceptional. Our stay during the May Day holiday was absolutely fantastic, hassle-free and comfortable. Both the location and the overall quality are impeccable. If you're visiting this area, this hotel is definitely my top recommendation!"

"Spontaneously decided to visit Erdao and booked this highly-rated hotel on Ctrip. The experience was absolutely fantastic, exceeding all my expectations – I'm incredibly satisfied! What truly impressed me was the exceptionally thoughtful service. All the staff were gentle, friendly, proactive in asking questions, and attentive to every detail. From check-in and shuttle services for sightseeing to breakfast arrangements, everything was meticulously organized. Many small details we hadn't even considered were expertly handled in advance, making for a truly excellent experience. I was lucky enough to receive a free room upgrade, which included a private hot spring bath – so relaxing and comfortable. Every corner of the hotel was exquisitely maintained and tastefully decorated, creating a wonderful atmosphere. You could feel the meticulous care and sincerity everywhere. Breakfast offered an incredibly rich variety of dishes; everything was delicious and satisfying. You could really sense the staff's dedication in preparing it! Although it was only a brief, one-day stay, I left feeling completely comfortable and delighted. The next time I visit Erdao, I'll definitely choose this place again. I'd also love to bring my parents here for a leisurely stay to truly enjoy some slow-paced time. I genuinely recommend it!"

"Facilities: Very complete, has everything you need. The decor is also very artistic, fitting well with the Changbai Mountain scenic area. Hygiene: Found a strand of hair in the fried rice at breakfast. For a four-star hotel, that's really unacceptable 😂, just like a fly-ridden diner. Environment: Quite good and beautiful. Service: The staff at the lobby and bathhouse are all very enthusiastic, answering all questions and always happy to help. A short-haired staff member even enthusiastically told us how to best explore the area, as we hadn't planned anything, and was very patient. However, there's a manager or someone at the front desk who always seems very impatient when answering questions – I've truly never seen such an attitude 😂, and it wasn't even a difficult question. Also, the driver: if shuttle service is provided, why can't it be perfect? He also seemed impatient and didn't help with luggage when we got out. He even honked furiously just because we didn't know how to close the trunk 😂. This hotel should be one of the better ones in the area, so it would be a shame to lose out because of these small issues. Overall, the service from the other hotel staff was quite good."

"Facilities: For a B&B, it truly meets five-star hotel standards; the facilities are incredibly comprehensive. The front desk upgraded our room, and I especially loved the upgraded balcony – you just open the door and there's the snow! Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: The lobby is very elegant and immediately puts you at ease. The street right outside has everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Service: A big thank you to all the staff, both male and female, who served us from check-in to check-out. They made us feel right at home. I'll definitely choose Huazhu again on my next trip to Changbai Mountain."

"Right at check-in, we were given two warm bottles of Changbai Mountain mineral water. The room was standard, and the heating was very strong – we had to sleep with the window open. The hot springs, however, are in a separate building, and you have to walk through the lobby on the ground floor to get to them. The lobby and the breakfast area on the second floor weren't warm enough, making it easy to catch a cold after coming back from the hot springs. The hot springs themselves are communal and only have a few small pools; it's not really worth going unless you just want a quick taste of Changbai Mountain's hot springs."
