"Overall, I was satisfied with the new hotel. Most of it was new, but some older parts were quite poor and lacked many essential hotel amenities, making it difficult to give a proper evaluation. My accommodation was in the back building, which is separate from the front building. The front building mainly only has the reception and restaurant; it's not for living. To have breakfast, you need to go to the first floor, then walk to the front building, and finally up to the third floor. The room has an oxygen concentrator; I recommend turning it on. The oxygen production is very slow, and it was still slowly increasing the next morning. It's a mixed bag of a hotel. The road outside was under construction and looked like a ruin, a stark contrast to the Batang County town I'd visited the day before. The interior was very good. Because it's a new hotel, the rooms are all new and spacious. The shower drain wasn't covered, and the towels weren't rolled up properly; cleanliness was poor. I found three short hairs on the sheets, so I asked the front desk to replace them. The new sheets also had hairs, so I gave up on that. The bath towels were even worse. The first towel had three very long hairs inside, while the second towel was better, with only one hair about 15cm long. The floor was clean, so I didn't wear slippers. The parking lot was in the back building, and it was terrible—tiny and cramped. It made me think I was staying in a one-star hotel. All the cars were crammed together; you could drive in, but whether you'd get blocked out was another question. The worst check-in experience I've seen here: the front desk gave me room 8609, but when I went in, I found it was an unfinished room, completely uninhabitable."

"The hotel room was clean and comfortable . It was really cold outside, but the heater could bring the temperature inside to over 30 degrees (too hot). The service was great, it was easy to check in and they helped us book transportation from Litang, and even made sure we got to our destination safe. We had a great time in Litang and would definitely recommend Zangbala Hotel!"

"We took Route 318 in late August. There were not many tourists, and the hotel price was still cheap at this time. We spent 180 yuan to book an oxygen-free room. The lady at the front desk was very polite and the check-in procedure was very fast. She also gave us two breakfast coupons. "Positive Lovely homestay and very friendly and helpful family. The budget room is basic. The bed was kinda hard. Near the homestay you can find some shops and restaurants. A walk to the center of town is about 15-20minutes. Negative The homestay is a bit hard to find. It's in a street behind the main street. The shared bathroom could be cleaner and have some more facilities for when taking a shower (like hooks to hang your clothes). There was no soap at the sink. Toiletpaper was lacking quite often. There is no showerhead so if you want to take a shower, you need to fill the rainbarrel with hot water and use a big spoon to pour the water over you. It's a bit of a hassle when you want to take a shower. Wifi was available, but it was a very slow connection."

The room has heating, and the intensity is adjustable. The hotel is at an altitude of nearly 4000 meters. The breakfast selection is extensive, and the environment is superb. There is a Tesla Supercharger available! However, the oxygen supply is a bit noisy, so I recommend bringing earplugs."

"Fantastic! The owner was incredibly welcoming and even helped us with our luggage. Parking around the hotel isn't easy, but we contacted the owner in advance, and they kindly reserved a spot for us. The hotel's location is superb, right at the entrance of the ancient street, so we could enjoy the song and dance performances in the evening. The facilities are excellent, with an oxygen concentrator and a humidifier. We could even turn on the underfloor heating when it got chilly at night. My husband suffered from altitude sickness and a headache, and they even gave him two packets of medicine, which made him feel much better the next day. The courtyard is lovely with lots of greenery. The room wasn't huge, but its smaller size made the oxygen concentration and humidification very effective. The oxygen machine runs until after 6 AM the next day before it turns off. The landlady was very chatty, and we managed to understand her Tibetan-Mandarin mix with a little effort, haha."
