Pet friendly Hotels in Rome

The breakfast was plentiful, the room was clean, had a safe, and was elegantly decorated. However, the air conditioning system didn't heat; guests checking in after mid-November and those who are sensitive to the cold should consider this. I woke up freezing at night and had to get out of bed to put on thermal underwear/add a spare blanket to feel warmer. I stayed in room 201, which had a bad location; the window faced a wall with black pipes, which was visually unpleasant.

I stayed for four nights straight, so I think I'm pretty qualified to give an opinion. The location is great; it's a 5-minute walk to the train station and a 10-minute walk to the metro. Once I got my bearings, I primarily used the bus since there's a bus stop right outside. One route goes directly to Termini, and another goes near the Colosseum, both taking about 20-30 minutes. The hotel breakfast was good, and the room was quiet. There's also a pizza place and a small convenience store right across from the hotel.

As always, this hotel is a sure bet. The staff are kind and professional, and the breakfast is superb. Both the breakfast and restaurant staff are always attentive and courteous. Dinner was very good, even though we arrived late due to a train delay. The only minor issues I found were in the room: the terrace door didn't close properly, and the kettle wasn't working. These are minor problems that shouldn't exist given the hotel's nightly rate and they did impact my overall rating, which otherwise would have been absolutely excellent. Nevertheless, we were very satisfied this time as well.

Great communication with Stefania regarding our arrival at the hotel. The location is ideal for exploring Rome, very close to the metro, or for quickly grabbing an electric bike or scooter. This hotel is super convenient, literally just a left turn out of Termini Station. It's a small place, very old-school, and while the rooms are simple, they're spotless. There's a charming courtyard right outside the front desk, which I sadly didn't get to enjoy because I was always on the go. I booked a room with breakfast included, and it was excellent value for money. The area is on a main street, so it feels very safe, and it's incredibly easy to hop on various public transport options from Termini. I'd definitely recommend it for solo travelers visiting Rome for the first time – it's safe and hassle-free.

The location is fantastic! It's only a 10-minute walk from the train station. From the station, you can take line A to the Vatican, and just a 3-minute walk left from the hotel, you can catch line B to the Colosseum. Basically, you can see all the main attractions in two days by taking four metro rides. Breakfast is included, though the taste is just so-so. You can also store your luggage, and for this price, it's really great value for money.

Great location, just a 2-3 minute walk from Termini Station, with many restaurants nearby. The room was newly renovated and very comfortable, and the facilities were also brand new. There are self-service lockers for luggage storage, and a washer and dryer available, though I'd recommend offering laundry detergent for a fee. I'd also suggest putting a more prominent sign at the main entrance, and some directional signs inside. Moving the reception desk to a corner would look more professional, or perhaps having a sign and relocating it to the basement.

The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is decent. It's located quite outside the city limits, so the trains stop running after midnight, so you'll need to take a taxi. However, if you're planning to commute before then, it's a perfect place to stay. The newly opened Metro C Line takes you to the Colosseum in just 25 minutes, no transfers required. The room condition is excellent for the price, and it's very nice. I really recommend it.

This was the first hotel I stayed at during my trip to Italy. The ”mountain lodge” was actually just a series of small wooden cabins, each containing only a bed and basic bedding. The shared bathroom and toilet were a 100-meter walk away, and the reception desk was 200 meters away. Aside from a pizzeria and a T-bone steakhouse, there were no other shops nearby, requiring a 2-kilometer walk. Although the lodge offered one shuttle bus each morning and evening, getting around was extremely inconvenient unless you had your own car. When I arrived, a local Italian gentleman was dropping someone off. Thinking I was using a ride-hailing service and asking for a price, he simply asked my destination and took me there for free. I don't know how I would have gotten there without meeting him; I was incredibly grateful. I strongly advise against travelers staying at this lodge, as transportation and dining options are extremely inconvenient.
