Hotels in Qingdaobei Railway Station/Licun Night Market, Qingdao

This was my first trip to Qingdao since returning home, and I’m so glad I chose to stay here. The hotel is clean and elegantly appointed, with bright, well-lit rooms and soft, comfortable bedding that let me sleep soundly until morning. Front-desk staff member Sally was warm and attentive, check-in was quick and efficient, and she responded promptly to any questions or concerns. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and find great places to eat. The bathroom is fully equipped, the toiletries are of good quality, and every detail has been thoughtfully taken care of—excellent value all around. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time, and I highly recommend it!

Our first room smelled heavily of smoke, but after contacting the front desk, we were immediately moved to a new room. The hotel is close to the subway station, making transportation very convenient. It's also right next to Licun Night Market, which is great for food and drinks.

The room was great and spacious! The layout was very practical: an area for changing shoes upon entry, a huge wardrobe, a dressing table, a long counter, a desk, a mini bar, and I loved the JBL alarm clock speaker. The air purifier was already on before I checked in, so there was no strange smell in the room, and the window could be opened. I stayed for five days, and this is the only hotel so far that hasn't made my skin or nose feel uncomfortable after staying. The hotel has so many positives, I can even overlook the hairdryer and toiletries, haha! The bread in the lobby on the first floor is amazing, freshly baked every day! A definite recommendation for carb lovers! The hotel isn't far from various attractions; major beaches, Wheat Island, Signal Hill, Zhanqiao Pier, and Laoshan Mountain are all about a 30-minute taxi ride, costing around 30 yuan with a ride-hailing service. I'm so glad I couldn't get a ticket to Qingdao Station and ended up choosing Crowne Plaza after buying a ticket to Qingdao North. It's surrounded by a Wanda residential area with many restaurants, making it very convenient to find food by searching on Dazhong Dianping. It's quiet yet centrally located, highly recommended!

The soundproofing is really bad; it was noisy every night, including the weekend. There are no large malls or supermarkets nearby, so you have to take a taxi everywhere. On the plus side, traffic isn't an issue and fares are cheap. The breakfast wasn't too crowded, even though the hotel was full. The selection wasn't huge, but the taste was decent, and the staff were great – they even waived the charge for my child's meal.

Overall I think the hotel was great for the price. The location especially was very convenient compared to others at the same price point- lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff was also a standout, they had seemingly very genuine smiles every time they greeted us. The only issue I experienced was receiving a bath towel with a sizable hole in it from continued use. Otherwise the amenities were generally good. City night view was lovely. Metro was only a 2-3 minute walk.

Overall: The hotel location is great, the room is nice, the staff are very polite, and the hygiene is excellent. They met all our requests for deliveries. Of course, the price was higher due to it being the summer holiday. Breakfast: We checked in with 2 adults and 2 children. The older child was already past the age for free breakfast, but the lovely lady at the front desk still gave them a complimentary spot. Late-night self-service warm congee: We went both nights. They had millet congee, rice congee, meat buns, pickled vegetables, salted duck eggs, etc. Although simple, it was very heartwarming. Freshly ground coffee: Unlimited, and they thoughtfully provided takeaway cups. Laundry service: Late at night, staff helped wash, dry, and bag our laundry, so we didn't have to wait around.

I've been to Qingdao for business many times, and this time I chose to stay at Atour Hotel in Ginza Harmony Plaza, Qingdao North Station. My entire stay far exceeded expectations. Whether it was the location, the facilities, or the human-centric service, everything was of a high standard. It's perfect for those transferring for high-speed rail, business travelers, and short-term tourists. The hotel's location is a huge advantage, right next to Qingdao North Station and just a stone's throw from the Ginza Harmony Plaza commercial district. When you arrive in Qingdao by high-speed rail, you don't have to travel far; a short taxi ride gets you to the hotel, making it hassle-free even with heavy luggage. Downstairs, there are supermarkets and various restaurants, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The subway lines are well-connected, offering easy access to famous attractions like Zhanqiao Pier and May Fourth Square. Whether you're catching an early high-speed train or heading out for sightseeing, you won't waste much time on travel, which is particularly friendly for business travelers. Upon entering the lobby, you can feel Atour's unique humanistic atmosphere. Warm lighting, coupled with minimalist wooden designs, creates a serene environment. The 24-hour Zhuju Library is quiet and elegant, with shelves full of books. You can sit here and read during breaks in your journey, shedding the fatigue of travel. The male manager at the front desk was very efficient with check-in, and the front desk staff were gentle and polite, providing proper service. They proactively offered useful information about local transportation and dining, and luggage storage requests were handled perfectly, showing great attention to detail. The guest room was clean and tidy, continuing Atour's minimalist and tranquil decor. The space was spacious and bright, with a well-thought-out layout. The Plant series bedding felt soft and skin-friendly, and the mattress was firm yet comfortable. After a long day, lying down allowed for complete relaxation. Different pillow styles were available, ensuring a good night's sleep even for those with high demands for sleep quality. The bathroom had full wet and dry separation, with stable water pressure, and the toiletries had a subtle, natural tea scent. The room was equipped with a large desk, ample power outlets, and stable high-speed WiFi, making it very convenient for handling work during business trips. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; despite being in a commercial area, it was quiet and peaceful, allowing for an undisturbed night's rest until morning. The hotel's facilities are complete and well-equipped. The 24-hour laundry room with a drying function is very practical for long-term travelers. The gym has a full range of equipment, perfect for a quick workout during leisure time. The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety, including Chinese pastries, hot dishes, fresh fruit drinks, and even local specialty snacks. The flavors were authentic and nutritious, allowing guests to start their day feeling full and energized. Robot delivery service was prompt and efficient. Throughout my stay, I truly felt that the hotel's service wasn't just a perfunctory, assembly-line experience, but rather one filled with genuine care at every turn. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth. Hygiene control was strict, and facilities were well-maintained. Whether for a business trip, a high-speed rail transfer, or a short family getaway, this Atour hotel is a highly recommended choice. The next time I visit Qingdao, I will still prioritize staying here, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to my friends visiting Qingdao.

The sound insulation effect exceeded expectations, and the rest at night was particularly stable. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the design is very practical. I like the open guide table in the room the most. The design is full and it is very convenient to use. The service is intimate and thoughtful, and free parking is also provided. It is especially friendly to drive by car. The overall experience is full. I have already given this Amway to friends who are going to Qingdao to play. It is recommended to choose here for travel accommodation!

The service was excellent! The front desk staff, Xie Yunan, was particularly attentive and enthusiastic. The breakfast was fantastic with a great variety, and the bedding was very comfortable.

Clean, quiet, warm, suitable for permanent residence, the landlord is also warm and generous, temporarily notified to check out, the follow-up few days will be refunded, really generous. Very suitable for travel business, like one!
