What did happen was that we had a medical problem, with official proof, and they did not offer us any solution. We did not ask for a refund, but for new dates, and the answer was the same. "The hotel staff is terrible, not only did they not have a room ready for us, we came in and someone else was sleeping there, then we went to another room and there were cockroaches running around, it was very late and we had to stay the next morning and wanted to change the hotel because paying $1,300 and sleeping with cockroaches is completely outrageous, we stayed for 2 days and only stayed for 1, then we told them that we would move to another hotel and they said okay and that they would give us our money back, but in the end they wrote that they would not give us our money back for another night! I don’t know what else to add 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️"

"The room and the service in the hotel were both really good, we were very pleased. However, the location was a disaster, it was central and incredibly noisy with mopeds roaring around late into the night and early morning, the noise insulation was really poor. There also was no bar or restaurant in the hotel and while breakfast was fine it was very expensive. Unfortunately due to the noise levels we wouldn’t stay here again, a shame as there is a lot to like but we left feeling exhausted."

"In September 2025 we stayed in Hotel Delle Rose for what was to be our second visit. Our previous visit dates from september 2022 when we had a "Superior Double Room with Balcony", a room we found quite pleasant. So, for this year, we booked that same room. We learned that the hotel has a new owner, and this has resulted in some changes. The breakfast offerings are much more extensive than we remembered. There's a new coffee & tea machine, which guests can now use not only during breakfast, but throughout the day. So, anyone who wants to use the lounge can treat themselves to a drink. Nice! Even though the room itself was unchanged, there was a new air conditioning unit installed, and a new king size double bed, which proved to be wonderfully comfortable. The bathroom is on the smallish side and a bit dated, but it offers everything you need, if you can do without a bathtub. The main thing: it was clean! The hotel is full of Italian charm, it's comfortable, and welcoming. The new owner, Enrico, was very friendly and helpful. In fact, all the staff were also pleasant to deal with. We had a pleasant stay, and I do recommend this hotel. The hotel also offers access to a private beach, but I can't review it as we did not visit it. We'll save it for another visit..."
