"This was my first time staying at Mousse, and before checking in, I'd read reviews on several platforms, including negative ones. I even called the front desk beforehand to inquire about the issues mentioned in those bad reviews. After receiving patient replies, I still felt confident in choosing Mousse. On the 25th, around 2 PM, Manager Dou showed me to my room. Her service attitude was surprisingly excellent, completely different from what the negative reviews suggested. Service attitude and quality are very important to me. She was patient, kind, and flexible. Manager Dou elaborately responded to everything we discussed. For example, when I mentioned needing good lighting, she said I could call the front desk if I needed more lights. I was also given a free upgrade to a suite, which was very nice. I saw other room types too, and they all looked great, offering excellent value for money. The photos below are my actual shots, though I'm not sure why I couldn't upload live photos, and they turned out a bit blurry. To show my appreciation for the hotel's service, this is my first time writing an honest, positive review and taking pictures for it. The hotel was very quiet at night, and every time I ordered takeout, the robot delivered it quickly, which was super convenient 👍. I will definitely choose Mousse again when I come back to Dongguan."

"I chose InterContinental for my temporary stay in Dongguan, and it was a surprisingly pleasant experience, completely avoiding the usual bustling influencer spots. The hotel subtly incorporates Lingnan aesthetics into its details; the wood carvings and fabric soft furnishings are understated yet elegant, without over-the-top opulence. The ambiance is calm and gentle. The guest room has soft lighting, with a city view through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding is soft and plush, and the soundproofing is excellent, providing peaceful tranquility even in a bustling area. The toiletries have a light, sophisticated scent, and soaking in the bathtub in the evening was a great way to unwind. Mia and Emily provided impeccable service, always available when needed. The breakfast selection was refined and not overwhelming, with authentic local dim sum and smooth, freshly ground coffee. The high-floor pool was quiet and uncrowded, and the gym equipment was well-maintained. Its proximity to the Guomao business district makes it very convenient. Overall, it's understated luxury, perfect for a quiet retreat or a short trip. It's peaceful and restorative, definitely worth a return visit."

"Facilities: A decent high-end five-star hotel. The hardware is fine, nothing to complain about, but since it's an older hotel, the facilities naturally can't compare to newly opened ones. There's a bathtub with a liner provided, so a relaxing bath after a long day is quite comfortable. Hygiene: Clean and hygienic, no issues there. Environment: There's dim sum on the first floor and a complimentary breakfast restaurant on the second floor with a wide variety of choices: vegetable and fruit salads, pastries, stir-fries, congee, sweet soups, and my favorite, the Cantonese-style original soup noodles. It's rare to find such a rich complimentary breakfast; the hotel clearly puts effort into it. I'd definitely stay here again just for those soup noodles. I also tried the hotel's complimentary lunch this time, and the taste was comparable to what I'd get at a high-end restaurant outside. To offer such quality for free – are you even making a profit, boss? I really hope more people discover such a conscientious business. Too bad I'm not an influencer; if I were, I'd want this place to go viral like the recent 'Mo's Chicken Pot.' I also tried the complimentary milk tea and loved the lemon tea and jasmine milk green. I truly appreciate these services! The owner absolutely must keep this place going!"

The hotel's facilities are also outstanding. The swimming pool, hot springs, and fitness area are all well-maintained and offer a fantastic experience. I especially loved the hotel's lakeside proximity; a leisurely stroll along the lake, enjoying the breeze and scenery, was incredibly pleasant. Whether for a business trip or a leisure getaway, this hotel is highly recommended, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Songshan Lake."

"I am strongly recommending this hotel to you ! 1. Very thoughtful as they allowed me for late checkout at 3pm 2. The bed indeed is very very comfortable and I slept very well! 3. Their wifi is user friendly too! 4. The staffs are very very helpful 5. There is smart bidet in the toilets 6. Windows are well soundproof! 7. AC is cold enough event is cold weather here unlike other hotels .. I will def come back and make this DeRucci my priority choice!"

"Hidden Villa Hotel is our top pick for family trips! We booked a package with tickets included, which was a great deal. The room was cozy and came with kids' amenities. The package included entrance to the scenic area, the zoo, multiple amusement park rides, and the 'Butterfly Lovers' fireworks show. We had unlimited entry for two days, and my kids absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. The service was warm and friendly, breakfast was plentiful, and the hotel's location right next to the scenic area was super convenient for traveling with children. Full marks for the experience!"
