"My family stayed at the hotel for the Easter holiday. We recently stayed in the Fairmont Taghazout and had a wonderful experience there, so this was an easy choice. The hotel was secluded, beautiful interior and stunning location. Great view of Gibraltar. Our king suite had an amazing sea view and the rooms were spacious, and great space for 2 adults and 2 small kids with a spacious balcony. The breakfast was good and fresh and when you get a booking for dinner the food is excellent. The challenge which really ruined the experience was the service and lack of experienced staff and management From Day 1 we arrived in the room seeking for support with preparing the sofa bed for the kids, we requested on arrival at 2, followed by 5 more times between 6-830, at 930 the receptionist arrived with the linen for my husband to put on the bed. The second issue was they had accidentally deducted over £2k from my husbands account, we had to prompt the front desk 3 times over two days to return the money to him. At this point, the hotel acknowledged their mistake and compensated us, which to be fair was a good reset. However, on day 3 we were unable to book a dinner reservation (which no one had explained on anrrival would be an issue) and with two small kids we decided the best solution would be to order room service. We ordered dinner at 830, and we were informed that there would be a waiting time of 1 hour 30, at this point we had zero options. Our food arrived at 11, we declined it we were already asleep. The final issue is the service by the pool, our lunch arrived and we had ordered a side of humus and pitta, the pitta was not visible, so I kindly asked the waiter if it was still coming. He told me he could not fit it on the tray, and so we waited, we asked another waiter, 40 minutes later they informed us that ran out of pitta and brought some carrots to the table. In addition, the mayonnaise and ketchup they brought for the burger had all expired in due date. The team are severely understaffed and not trained. This hotel has the potential to be excellent, but fails in the service and management of its staff. I typically would not write a review, but honestly was so disappointed in the quality and service provided that I just simply would not want to recommend this hotel unless they changed the management team here."

"We stayed at Hotel MiM on 02/03/26 to celebrate our anniversary, and from the moment we arrived, it was pure perfection. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely Pascal, who quickly checked us in and delivered the most incredible surprise — we had been upgraded from the sea view suite I originally booked to the Signature MESSI Suite. And wow… what an extraordinary suite it was. The attention to detail was absolutely second to none. Every corner reflected luxury, style, and thoughtfulness. The team has done an amazing job with this hotel — it’s elegant, modern, and effortlessly luxurious. We genuinely didn’t want to leave. From start to finish, we felt completely looked after, and that made our anniversary even more special. Thank you for making it so memorable. We also dined at Hincha restaurant and had such a fantastic evening. The food was truly out of this world, and the restaurant staff were just as wonderful — attentive, friendly, and professional. It was the perfect way to round off a beautiful stay. We’re already counting down the days until our next visit. Mr & Mrs Eddison"

"As I’ve mentioned before, this end of the Costa del Sol has surprisingly few truly good hotel options, so it’s great to see another property open in the region. Although construction isn’t yet fully complete, most of the complex is now operational. I may be mistaken, but it felt as though we were experiencing something of a soft opening. The owners have done an excellent job transforming a 1970s golf resort into a stylish, contemporary hotel, centred around a large and inviting pool. The rooms are beautifully renovated—spacious, bright, and thoughtfully designed. That said, a few small details still need attention, likely due to the ongoing works. The bathrooms, for instance, lack hooks or racks for towels. The terrace outside our room was in need of repainting or a good pressure wash. Around the pool, the redecorated lounging area is very attractive, but the pool itself still bears its dated 1970s mosaic tiling, which could benefit from refurbishment. For the most part, the staff were warm and friendly. However, the breakfast team seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests, and their brusque manner didn’t quite match the otherwise beautiful surroundings. Perhaps this was the first weekend the hotel had been at full capacity? Just as the physical space still requires finishing touches, it seems the service would benefit from additional training to match the high standard the hotel is aiming for. Regardless, these are minor wrinkles that will no doubt be ironed out in the weeks and months ahead. In short, this is a welcome and much-needed addition to this stretch of coast, and we look forward to returning."

"We booked a 3 night stay here and didnt expect much. It is an excellent place to stay, the view from our large balcony was stunning! The receptionist maybe manager Alicia was so friendly and accommodating, we were so happy. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, shower great, lots of hot water. We couldn't fault the place. A breakfast was included and very generous considering the great value for the room. Plenty of choice of juices , bread rolls or sliced bread. Ham, cheese, various pates. It was a gentle stroll on the beach to Sotto Grande, but good restaurants locally. Alicia recommended a restaurant Deseco not far away and it was fabulous, staff so friendly too. We will be returning this year,just so good ."
