"This is a nice clean Hotel with a lovely pool The breakfast is more than acceptable. The only problem is that this hotel caters to a significant number of construction workers who are up and are moving at 5:15 in the morning. Problem with that is the doors on these rooms and the exit doors slam so hard you will not get a bit of sleep from 5:15 on. Stay away from the first floor rooms and the rooms toward the south end of the main building."

"I honestly don’t ever write reviews but after our first day here I felt compelled too after all the negative reviews I had previously read before my arrival. We’ve had an amazing experience so far. We arrived to check in about 3pm (only an hour early) upon arrival at check I was told our room wasn’t ready yet but they would call me as soon as it was. Within the time it took to walk out to the car and pull into the parking lot I received a phone call saying the room was ready. The bell service was amazing. The gentleman who helped me with my 2 kids was so nice and helpful. He brought us right to our room with our stuff. All the staff here is wearing masks and everyone else has to keep their mask on in the lobby and indoors except for in the pool area or while seated eating. We spent the afternoon at the pool. We had no problem getting chairs. We decided to have dinner at the restaurant Angler and Ale on the property. We took the tram over there which my kids enjoyed very much! The food at the restaurant was delicious! When we got back to the room I noticed the black out curtain wasn’t staying full closed I called down to the front desk and within 5-10 minutes the maintenance man showed up to fix it for us!! We are having the best time and I can’t wait to enjoy the rest of the weekend here!! Highly recommend. Don’t believe everything you read. Definitely come and experience this gorgeous place for yourself!! "

Daily Resort Charge includes: Guest internet access; hourly shuttle to downtown Key West from 9am to 11pm; 2-hour paddle board, kayak and bicycle use; resort activities including yoga, standup paddleboard classes, poolside movies, and lawn games.

"The hotel atmosphere and facilities were overall very pleasing. The hotel shuttle bus to Key West downtown runs every hour, and there were various additional facilities such as kayaking, paddling, bicycle activities, and yoga classes, which was nice. The activity staff were all friendly, so the kids had a great time doing the activities. The swimming pool and children's playground were also great. The atmosphere of the restaurant and bar in the hotel and the price were good. The staff were also very friendly. However, the check-in was very late because it was the peak season of Christmas. However, I was very upset by the attitude of the front desk staff. I tried to understand that the check-in was late (I had to wait 1 hour and 10 minutes based on the check-in time...), but they assigned me a completely different room instead of the one I had reserved. When I called to say that the room was assigned incorrectly, they just told me to come back to the front desk and change the room key card. Without even a word of apology. Because the check-in was late, I rested a little in the room, and my schedule for sightseeing was all messed up.. There was no place to rest while waiting, so I went sightseeing and checked in once, and since they let me check in late, I visited the front desk twice to get the room key.. I went to the front desk a third time to exchange the room key because the room was assigned incorrectly.. I was so tired, both physically and mentally.. I just thought that this was the kind of service they had, but they were busy, so what could they do? When I told them that I was upset with their service, they finally apologized. Except for the front desk staff, the other staff members were so kind that I just let it go, but I think the staff members at the front desk are the face of the hotel. It's definitely a good hotel, but the front desk staff's service was the worst of all the places I've been to. I think this definitely needs to be improved."

"Ameracay is a very nice resort. It's not too far and easily accessible. It gas a nice tiki brand beach as well as a very nice courtyard with game areas and firepits. The resort is in an area that has iguanas. These are harmless if left alone. Make sure yiu balcony door is shut so a curious iguana does not visit. You also should ve aware that in case of a cold snap, iguanas fall from trees. As long as they don't hit you in the head again they are harmless. Visited the outside bar fi a sandwich. Everything in the Keys cost more so prices are moderate. We shared a sandwich with no issues. The lobby area is very nice with suspended swinging chairs. Decorations are ”islandish” which is appropriate. There is a selfie wall which has keys mounted. There is also a wall mounted magnetic Scrapple game. There are nice restaurants within walking distance. Both Midway and Lazy Boys were busy. If you go out for dinner, expect moderate wait. Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. The resort has a very snLl gift shop. Not much for men unless you need a bathing suit. The only problem was the entire area was having water issues. There was no hot water in the room. I would stay again. It's about half the cost of staying in Key West. There are places very close by if you want to plY in, on, or under the water. It may be possible to book a ride out to Alligator Reef Lighthouse via a service near by. Lots of places to hop on a fishing boat. The water off Islamadora is a nationally protected coral reef. Make sure you know what you can and can't do on the reef. The resort does not allow drone flying on property. You might be able to fly from a nearby bridge. I will probably visit again."

"For one night stay, the hotel is very close to the diving park. When the check-in was left, the landlord stayed on the door. The surrounding environment is good. It is too late to check out."
