Hotels in Train Station Area, Shanghai

Atour has always been my friend's go-to hotel for business trips, so we decided to book it for our own travels this time. This particular Atour has a refined and clean environment, and the rooms are very spacious. The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful. Plus, it's just a five-minute walk to Xizang North Road Station on Metro Line 8, which makes getting around super convenient – really great! Haha, sorry about the messy photo, that's after we stayed; it was actually very tidy when we checked in.

The breakfast hours were generous, and the food was fresh and delicious. A special shout-out to Xiao Zhang, who proactively reminded us about the breakfast closing time and helped us with our luggage. Their service was incredibly warm and attentive. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Five-star review! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for transportation and dining – no need to worry about getting around at all. I especially want to commend Rourou at the front desk. I accidentally lost something and was quite anxious, but she patiently helped me search throughout, with clear problem-solving skills and incredible efficiency. She quickly resolved my issue. Her gentle yet reliable demeanor really enhanced my stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

Very conveniently located, by foot 15 min from metro line, there's a convenient store just downstairs that stay open till quite late, personnel was super nice and accommodating. They give you free bottled water if you ask, there's an air conditioner in the room, I didn't see any toilet paper nor did I ask but its not a very big issue. The price is downright excellent, you get what you paid for. Beds were rock hard but usually in china that the norms, bedding was clean, overall the room was quite ok there's some miscellaneous hair and strange things here and there but again, not an issue. The room was on the smaller size lol just right for the beds and a table with a chair. Recommend if all you want is a correct plus place to sleep while on holiday.

I'm a returning customer, this is my second stay, and the overall experience is still good. Generally speaking, hotels in Shanghai are more expensive than in other cities, but this one is quick to get to from Shanghai Station by subway, so the value for money is pretty decent. Most importantly, the room has a window, so it doesn't feel stuffy.

The room was clean and tidy. I stayed for a few days, and it was very convenient for dining out and getting around. It's also very close to the train station. I recommend staying here and will definitely come back next time.

I couldn't sleep the whole night because it was so noisy. I've never stayed in a room so noisy before. The waitress who stayed that day was very nice.
