"Room. Towel had two huge holes in. Toilet mat was torn. Handbasin cold water tap broken. Shower cold water tap broken. One wall was cover with open cement patches. At 6am the aircon blasted ice and water on us. Dinner. My hamburger arrived cold from the kitchen. The T bone that was ordered was sent back to the kitchen due to poor quality meat. Food presentage substandard. The waiters don't know to serve food over the right shoulder and remove the plate over the left shoulder. Steaks where served without a steak knife. When the one staff member was informed that the Tbonesteak was of a poor quality she just laughed and walked away. Breakfast. The waiters did not inform the kitchen staff that certain food plates had to be replenished. Our experience was that the staff had no support to guide them on how to address our complaints."

"Nice and quiet lodge 1,5 hour drive away from Sossus Vlei. Excellent food! Wonderful sundown drives where many wildlife can be seen and at night many stars at the sky. Friendly staff, great beds. Bathrooms a bit outdated however, pool at a nice location with view on the desert"

"Very basic, no toiletries in the room or hairdryer. Beds ok for 2 nights. Food touch and go, had fish cakes but they were still cold in the middle, they were refried. Schnitzel ok but tough. Pool very small, but it is the desert! Lots of house rules, like cant eat own food in room or beer they charge corkage. Drive to sossusvlei 2hours!"

"A very special place with a beautiful cactus garden. The magic of nature, the silence, the wild animals in the area. The bed is comfortable. A car is necessary to get in and out. I went without, and it's a problem. Even so, they looked for a way for someone to take me. Most of the time there is no phone or internet coverage. The food is plentiful, but nothing is very good."
