"This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The booking page clearly stated check-in was available after 2 PM, and I specifically requested a quiet room, away from the elevator, and not a corner room. I arrived at the hotel lobby at 4:20 PM, only to be told that the only room left of my booked type was right next to the elevator. I then had to wait in the lobby for about 20 minutes to complete the check-in process. Upon heading upstairs, I discovered that the main elevator only goes up to the fifth floor. To reach the sixth floor, I had to either transfer to another elevator or take the stairs. When attempting to transfer on the fifth floor, the elevator call button for the other elevator was unresponsive. After waiting for about ten minutes, I decided to walk up to the sixth floor. Once there, I asked a cleaning staff member and was informed that to use the transfer elevator, you had to press the 'down' button – meaning if there were passengers going to the first floor, I'd have to ride down with them first before going back up to the sixth floor. After finally getting into the room, I found a pair of underwear clearly left behind and forgotten on the wall hanger, not properly cleaned. When I tried to rest in the evening, I could distinctly feel the protruding springs of the mattress, which was very uncomfortable. One of the two pillows also smelled of smoke. Furthermore, the wooden board at the foot of the bed jutted out, making it very easy to bump my shins when walking around. The soundproofing in the room was poor; I could clearly hear people walking and talking in the hallway. Even worse, I was woken up by construction noise from the vicinity around 7 AM the next morning. The only positive aspect was the service attitude of the hotel staff; their diligence and responsibility are commendable. All in all, I will not be choosing this hotel again in the future."
