"I stayed in a nice hotel in Cairo, the bedding and hygiene were very good. The hotel reception is on the 1st floor, but there is someone on the 0th floor to help with luggage, the service is great? "The hotel's entrance is a bit hard to find, despite its street-facing location, ”simple” reception area, and old-fashioned elevator. Even deep in the alley, this exquisite guesthouse is impossible to miss. This chain seems to specialize in renovating old buildings in Cairo. The rooms are clean, tastefully designed, and fully equipped with practical amenities. Due to Cairo's traffic, even on higher floors, there is some street noise (those with good sleep quality can ignore it; I wasn't bothered at all, haha). However, the view of the old city streets from the balcony offers a unique experience, a blend of different eras."

"I stayed at this hotel five times. Family for the location the fact that it has a swimming pool. Food here for breakfast was not too good because it upset my stomach. I like the staff the rooms are good but some of the views are just terrible. Views of Rocky vacant lots. If you can get a view of the Egyptian museum or the pool. The views can some time kind of depress me. this hotel has a swimming pool and a gym and after a day and Cairo you need to kind of decompress in a pool. I would stay here again this is my go-to hotel in Cairo. I paid $125 a night including taxes with breakfast. Not crazy about breakfast so be careful what you eat."

"The Dock Hostel by the Nile River, you can feel the flow of the Nile River while lying on the bed. There is a restaurant upstairs, but the breakfast provided is very ordinary Egyptian bread + fried eggs + fried Doonut.
Although it is a single room, the bed is a King Size bed. It is close to the Nile River and next to the rowing club, so it is a little noisy in the morning and evening.
Opposite the hotel is the Russian Embassy, with soldiers standing guard. Nearby is the Shearton Hotel, and across the river is the Sofitel Hotel, so it is very safe. The sunrise light on the Nile can shine directly into the room. If you go out during the day and come back to stay late, this is a good choice.
The hotel owner and the proprietress are very warm and friendly; but the waiter in the restaurant is a little cunning. When eating, they say that the water is free, but they charge service fee and VAT when checking out."

"Stay was great. Breakfast was good too. Gana hospital was just 4-5 minutes walk where my training / workshop was. If you are coming especially for that then definitely going to recommend it. Many places of food and shopping centers were located around the hotel. Easy to catch taxi but do allow 1 hour and 30 minutes for airport in taxi as traffic is hilarious."

"The lady at the front desk of the hotel is very cute. The uncle who took our luggage to the room was very responsible. He also introduced us to places where we could have fun and where to buy souvenirs cheaply. He also said that there was a place not to go because the things were very expensive. I thought I had to tip him at first, but he walked away without looking back. He was absolutely serious and friendly.
The road is being repaired at the door, so just walk a short distance inside. Be wary of illegal taxis around the hotel. Try to get a taxi in the room before going downstairs, otherwise the illegal taxi driver will keep harassing you.
There is a computer on the first floor of the hotel for tourists to use. We used this computer to successfully book tickets on the train ticket booking website, and the Internet speed was also good."

"What you see is what you get! The pictures are very accurate, and the room is spacious. Having a washing machine with a 15-minute quick wash cycle was super convenient. The water pressure in the bathroom was a bit high, though. The surrounding area felt very safe, you can definitely trust the security level in Zamalek. The nearby supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants are all worth checking out."

IImpulsive TravellerThe location is at city center nearby to Egyptian Museum. Plenty of amenities within 10 minutes walk. The famed Koshary Abu Tarek is within 6 minutes walk. The rooms are well maintained. There is a staff at the reception 24/7. Guests of all ages and nationalities can be accomodated.
Suggestion for improvement:
1. The towels to be issued upon check-in and not upon request.
2. The lift need to be upgraded as I was ever caught inside when there is a power trip. And often the lift did not operate because the lift door was not closed properly. Understand that the lift is not manage by your hostel. Please request for it from the building owner as it is not acceptable.
3. Consider centralized air condition system. Anyone can turn off the air conditioner affecting others.

AAnonymous UserI stayed here for half a day during my layover in Cairo. It's in New Cairo, offers great value for money, and is a charming and cozy hotel. The staff are very friendly, and they even gave me a small gift when I checked out. The local takeout food is delicious, by the way, haha!

LLiznBenjA perfect hotel in an excellent location. Staff are so kind, friendly and professional - they are not chasing you for tips all the time. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had - you MUST get the breakfast! The hotel beds were very comfortable and the Modern Art museum is a stone's throw away. Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Cairo. The view from the rooftop restaurant is breathtaking.

The location is incredibly convenient—just a short drive to central New Cairo attractions like Festival City Mall and other popular shopping areas. Its proximity to the access road to the North Coast and being only an hour away from Ain Sokhna makes it a great base for exploring beyond the city. The highway and bridge network also make trips to Downtown Cairo and Giza smooth and hassle-free.
The apartment itself is cosy, impeccably clean, and has a fresh, welcoming scent that adds to the overall comfort. Check-in and check-out are effortless, and the added perks like secure parking, gated community access, a clubhouse, and pools elevate the experience. It’s a perfect mix of comfort, accessibility, and peace of mind. Highly recommended!

RronnietimeThe hotel is located in a quiet and safe area of Cairo. There are restaurants, cafes and supermarkets nearby. It's convenient to reach other places in Cairo by taxi. It has a great view to the Nile. We were very pleased with the quality of the hotel's services.
The room had some dusty corners, and some facilities in the room looked old (but functioned well).
Over all it was a very nice stay here.

GGuest UserThe hotel needs to up their game, I was allocated a room at check in which had already been occupied by another guest, you could imagine the surprise of myself and the guest when I tried to open the room at midnight. The reception gave me an upgrade, but the room wasn’t very clean it had stains in a lot of places, packaging of the tooth brush look like they date from the times of the Pharaoh.

GGuest UserThe staff of this hotel was not good, At about 8 PM in the evening, the hotel front desk staff called the room and said that the hotel we booked only allows one person to stay. If two people stay, they need to add an additional fee of 70 US dollars. Very unlogic, so I leave my friend and I booked another hotel.but the facilities and environment is good .only their service is bad

GGuest UserThis hotel is not even ready to be opened for business. There were no top sheets, no places to hang up, or even place our clothes on something. The bathrooms are terribly designed and flooded every time we took a shower. The elevator smells like cat piss. The photo of the modern, European style lobby is completely deceiving. Can't imagine how it got a 4 star rating when it's not even ready to receive guests yet. Extremely overpriced for what it is.
That said, the staff were all very nice and tried their best although they don't tell you when you check in that you have to ask them/give permission every day for them to clean your room. They are all young and eager and very accommodating but they need training in the hospitality business.
