Located just 20 minutes from Woodland Park, CO where you can eat, shop local stores and experience Colorado. Also 15 minutes from Historic Cripple Creek! Lots of local places to hike and explore all the mountains have to offer! Right at an hour away from heading West to Buena Vista and the hot springs! The cabin is located off scenic HWY 67 in a neighborhood with maintained roads. You do not need a 4x4 vehicle to access the home. If you are interested in renting both cabins, you can review availability on our listing “2 Cabins on 40 acres”Once you are here, check out many great attractions like the Florissant Fossil Beds or 11 Mile Canyon where you can go rock-climbing or fishing. We are only a 30 minute drive to Woodland Park and don't forget to take the drive up Pikes Peak and the North Pole. Enjoy hiking and exploring on the 40 acre property or go hiking, mountain biking or four wheeling in nearby Pike National Forest. The two bedrooms are right off the living room—one with a queen bed and the other with two twins, so you can all dream in close-ish comfort.The kitchen, with brand-new stainless steel appliances—including a gas stove—has absolutely everything you need to make a full meal, even a waffle maker and pancake griddle for your Sunday morning brunching pleasure. You’ll find the bathroom bright and peaceful, a perfect place to read the morning news and rinse off your post-hike sweat.Recently added is "Bobbers Den" a modern shed converted to a Kids Fort right in the back yard, it is set with a climbing wall, hanging chairs, games, and more!With beautiful views of the surrounding pines and aspens, the back deck is the perfect place to start and end your days. The location is close to two small towns incase you need a bite to eat or you forgot something, but also tucked away where you feel completely alone.As you enter the cabin you will come in directly to the full kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with granite counter tops, a gas stove, modern full fridge and all the kitchen essentials you should need. Directly off of the kitchen is the bathroom. It has a large vanity, shower with a glass door and tile floors. Then from the kitchen there is a washer and dryer off the back that guests are able to use which they stay. Then from a kitchen the tall vaulted ceilings of the A open up over the living room. The living room has a pull out couch that sets up as two twin beds. The fireplace is set with wood and all that you need to build a roaring fire. Up the spiral stair case there is a king bed and desk for your remote working needs. When you head outside you will find a patio furniture set for 4, a hot tub and a beautiful view!Important (Please Read)!We do NOT accept check-in or check-out on holidays.Absolutely NO open fires are allowed.
