The air conditioning works well, but the rooms are rather small, making it suitable for people who want to climb the volcano, stay overnight, and catch the boat the next morning. However, staying in a room with a view of the volcano from the window is a great advantage."

"We particularly loved the setting; the view is unbeatable. The breakfast was simple but very pleasant. All the staff were friendly and professional, and we appreciated the transfers to and from the port. The bedrooms and bathrooms were simple and fairly small, but that was fine for us - although the facilities are not new, they were clean and comfortable. This is a simple, family-run hotel; those looking for luxury should look elsewhere but those looking for comfortable, authentic accommodation in an unbeatable quiet setting will be delighted. Loved the small but charming swimming pool. Steps from the black sand beach and easy walk to town. Great breakfast brought to room each morning."

"Dirty hotel, rooms with cobwebs, disastrous breakfast, juices are not natural, shortage of fruits, bathrooms when you shower smell like a mass grave, a shame they sell you what is not. The place is great, but I would never return. Ha, and we asked for the best. a courtesy room to shower, they told us that there is no problem, we informed them of the time we would arrive to shower and the surprise was that the room was occupied, lack of professionalism. There are more better hotels in Estronboli."

"Great location. Our room did not have sea view. The main problem was the breakfast: it was poor for a 4 stars hotel. Instant coffee was served (no espresso, no cappuccino), the fruits were of low quality for Sicily, salty alternatives were scarce, bread quality was poor for Sicily."
