"I really love this hotel. The room is spacious, we chose a unit with a kitchen, which was super convenient. The equipment is quite complete, and there’s also a large private balcony and the supermarket is nearby as well. For me, the location is great because it’s very close to the train station. "Hotel Taescherhof is located right next to the train station. From Tasch Train Station, you can hop on a 12-minute shuttle train to Zermatt. The shuttle train operates every 20 minutes during day time and runs till at least 10pm. Our hotel room has a balcony facing the train track but there was minimum noise when the train passing by. The hotel is very clean and the room is way over 300 sq ft with a balcony. I enjoyed their breakfast and the 3-minute walk to board the train. We met 3 front desk staff and they were all friendly and spoke perfect English."

"Excellent stay at this cute little place. Loved everything about this hotel including the breakfast, location, and scenic views. You can't beat this place for the price. It's also so close (within walking distance) to the Tasch railway station and parking is free. They even let me park for 3-4 hours for free after checking out while I visited Zermatt. The front desk girl (I forgot her name) was so nice and helpful giving me some great tips while I visited Zermatt. Wonderful experience overall."

"It was a nice location and very clean room. But we were allocated to a room just right above the staff smoking area, meaning we had to take the smoke non-stop from 7:30am to 9:30pm. We tried to ask the staff to swap rooms but they said they were fully booked and didn’t offer any help. The two of us just kept sneezing and having runny nose for the whole stay. I think to improve they could at least ask if the guests are smokers before allocating them into a room so full of smoke."
