"Very charming hotel in a 18th building. So, no elevator! You have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Decor was beautiful. Breakfast was good. We had a balcony facing the lake. The view was fantastic! The only downside was the noise from the passing traffic. But when the windows are closed we were not quite bothered by the traffic. No kettle for boiling hot water. No wine glasses in the room. They have a cozy bar at ground floor. Guess they want you to visit the bar there!"

"This is the best place to stay if you want a clean room with a spectacular view of Tegernsee. Also included is one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve ever had in our travels to Germany. They have assorted meats, smoked salmon, fruits, assorted jellies, the best coffee and more. I highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay here again."

"The hotel is easy to find and there is free car parking available, although it did take a couple of attempts to find the entrance to the car park. The staff and owners are lovely and speak good English. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable, well appointed and quiet. The restaurant serves very good food at a reasonable price."

"All in all, a lovely weekend at Hotel Luitpold. The room was very clean and the view from the room was fantastic. The only downside was the food in the bar/restaurant. The selection was very limited and too expensive for a snack. Therefore, we recommend visiting a proper restaurant. We would gladly stay at the hotel again."

"The hotel was in a beautiful setting. The views were amazing. The rooms were clean and very neat. The breakfast was lovely and News Day the dining room was decorated and a wonderful cake was served. The coffee and afternoon cake was outstanding. The hotel is not one for people who want to be in town. There is a lovely restaurant and bar 5 mins walk from the hotel. Perfect. The thing thay made our stay was the people. Breakfast served with a smile and the reception desk so knowledge about the local area and always willing to help. Thank you to everyone for a family run feel and welcoming stay."

"Bewoned early November room 314. The spacious room has a balcony with a dreamy view of the lake, also has a very nice bathroom with a large shower. Breakfast buffet also mouthed. All staff are very friendly. The free parking is right behind the house. In the evening you can eat very well in the associated restaurant step 1. We will come back."
