The vehicle, a four-wheel drive Ford pickup truck was hired from and returned to Luang Prabang. This is a true three-star hotel that operates like a full-service five-star property. At a walk-in rate of 630,000 LAK this falls into the high range of my normal budget. However, the other nearby properties were unappealing or more expensive. If you want to save some cash, move away from the riverside. Otherwise, this is a very good, professionally run hotel. The room and bathroom were both clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The refrigerator, air conditioning, hot water, and wi-fi worked well. The bedding, towels, etc. were good. Breakfast was also included in a full-service restaurant that is also open for lunch and dinner. There is ample parking for folks who self-drive. I would have stayed here on my way back north through Thakhek but I chose another less expensive property that I will also review."
