Hotels in Shinjuku Area, Tokyo

Overall, the hotel has a very nice environment. Considering the price I paid, getting this kind of four-star hotel experience in the Shinjuku area is really good value for money. The rooms are relatively small, but this is quite common for hotels in Japan. Getting around is still convenient, and even on rainy days, walking through the underground passage to Shinjuku Station is not a problem. There are FamilyMart, Lawson and Mini Mart stores right downstairs, which is very convenient for getting late-night food, drinks and souvenirs. The hotel lobby also provides a good selection of toiletries that guests can take freely. They are quite generous with the complimentary amenities. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near 7-Eleven, Burger King, and various izakayas, and it's also very close to the subway station. The room is spacious enough to open a suitcase, and the complimentary matcha in the lobby is delicious. From the hotel, you can navigate to Suga Shrine, and just a short walk further will lead you to the famous stairs where the protagonists of 'Your Name' met. The neighborhood along the way has a distinct Tokyo feel and is definitely worth exploring.

Location is 15 mins to Shinjuku station but along the way quite a lots to see. I’m enjoy the price offered for this location and distance. Laundry a bit expensive with 600 yen for 1kg. The location is next to night clubs too (you can choose to walk to Shinjuku station with other street) and worst is the hotel signboard is not obvious as it is small and in front of the hotel, , comparing to others to put up big and tall at the junction. You will easily miss it as I have walked back 3 times and finally found it by looking for white building

Might be one of the best cityview hotels in Tokyo. For anyone looking to enjoy an incredible night/ day city view experience and u might be able to see Mount Fuji ! Then this is definitely the place to stay. The location is also very convenient, situated close to most of the main shopping areas in Shinjuku. The only downside is that the hotel is located right next to a train station, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs for better sleep quality. That said, the hotel service was truly exceptional easily one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. Special mention to the amazing team for making the stay even more memorable.

Our stay at Tokyu Stay Shinjuku was absolutely perfect in every way! This modern hotel offers an ideal location in the heart of Shinjuku, Tokyo's vibrant entertainment and business district. The room was impressively spacious for a Tokyo hotel, featuring a separate sleeping area and a well-equipped kitchenette with microwave and sink - perfect for preparing quick meals. Thebeds were incredibly comfortable with premium linens ensuring restful sleep after long days of exploring Tokyo. The bathroom was spotless with excellent water pressure and luxurious toiletries. What impressed us most was the hotel's convenient location - just steps away from Shinjuku Station, making it incredibly easy to access all of Tokyo's attractions. We walked to the beautiful Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, explored the neon-lit streets of Kabukicho, and visited the observation decks at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building for stunning city views. The hotel staff were exceptional, providing helpful travel advice and directions in perfect English. The 24-hour convenience store downstairs was a lifesaver for late-night snacks and drinks. The room's soundproofing was excellent, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling city outside. We particularly appreciated the hotel's modern amenities including free high-speed WiFi, a large smart TV with streaming services, and USB charging ports throughout the room. The laundry room on-site was extremely convenient for longer stays. For travelers seeking comfortable accommodations in one of Tokyo's best locations, Tokyu Stay Shinjuku is an excellent choice. This hotel is super convenient! It's right by a subway station and a convenience store. It's also really close to central Shinjuku, and you can walk to Kabukicho Ichibangai in just over 10 minutes. Self check-in is a breeze, and you can store your luggage here too. Plus, you can grab complimentary toiletries and bath amenities from downstairs. There are also a few small restaurants right across the street, which is really handy for meals.

The hotel's location is unbeatable. The airport shuttle is right across the street, and everything you need is just downstairs. The room was small but clean and comfortable, and I especially loved the unique bathroom with its minimalist and tidy design. It was a bit pricey, but my child loves Godzilla, so we'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The Shinjuku Line is incredibly confusing. The first time I went to the hotel, I wandered around for half an hour. I later realized you should absolutely *not* exit from the New South Gate, as it leads directly to the bus terminal and the NEWoMan building, and there are no elevators to get down from there. Since you're in Shinjuku Station, you really have no idea what floor you're on. If you have large luggage, remember to exit from the South Gate, which is the ground-level exit of Shinjuku Station. Cross the street and take two turns, and you'll be at the hotel. If you don't get lost, it's only a few minutes' walk. The hotel's location was definitely a major selling point, making it convenient to go anywhere you want. As for the hotel itself, the environment is also very good and quite new. The twin room was actually quite spacious, with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering an expansive view. Other than being a bit pricey, there are no complaints!

Nicely-designed boutique hotel with convenient access to different places in Shinjuku. And the value-to-cost is promising where I will definitely visit again with friends if staying around Shinjuku.
