"I had a disappointing experience at this hotel despite spending nearly ₹70,000 over a 4-day stay. What stood out most was the behavior of the staff and their approach to customer service. Towards the end of our stay, the staff attempted to charge us ₹3000 for a minor issue—a kalawa stain on a bedsheet and duvet the minor tiny stain could be easily removed with ammonia which the hotel didnt have enough where with all.While I understand that damages may sometimes incur costs, the way this situation was handled felt unnecessary and unprofessional. They were argumentative and insisted on additional charges, even applying GST on something as unreasonable as discarding a bedsheet. Discarded items doesnt levy GST. The overall attitude of the staff was quite impolite, which made the experience even more frustrating. After spending a significant amount and staying multiple days, I expected a more courteous and customer-friendly approach rather than being confronted over such petty matters. I would advise future guests to be cautious and clarify such policies in advance. Unfortunately, this experience overshadowed what could have otherwise been a pleasant stay. "We had a highly disappointing experience(Horrible) with this hotel as never before,we reached at imperial hotel in evening and had a plan to go for mahakaal ji darshan after 10-15min but in the room(room no.105)nothing was in working condition,tv not working,pnt phone not working,no wifi for full 2 days(excuse given was...Ma'am electrical problem hai),only 2 water bottles will be given in a day even if they are paid for 3 persons,RO water is given in the used plastic bottles.Cups and glasses kept in the room were dirty had stains on them,I asked them to clean it again.when they shifted sofa to arrange extra bed used disposable glasses and chips wrappers were there.If we were dialling no.5 then they will ask u to dial no.8 and vice versa,for full almost 2 hrs staff kept coming and going but none cud solve any problem so we asked all of them to go out of the room and got ready somehow,we got there late and missed the aarti.....so dear friends think many times before booking this hotel...😠😠"

"Hotel Atharva on bye pass road is an excellent proposition now --- away from the dust and traffic jams yet near the main Shree Mahakaleshwar Mandir, Ujjain. The location is therefore very good and convenient for people visiting the temple for the late night aarthi. The atmosphere is serene. The rooms are spacious with all basic ameneties provided and is kept clean. The noise level is very low. The housekeeping, room service staff as well as the front desk staff are very courteous and helpful. The hotel houses a good veg restaurant within its premises and the spread at the restaurant is very good. Option for breakfast to be included is also available. The spread at the breakfast table is good. Inshort a value for money both by way of convenience to visit the local temples as well as comfort for stay."
