"The hotel is decorated with elegance and quality, but upon arrival there was a slightly unpleasant smell. I was immediately changed rooms and upgraded, too. The room was perfectly equipped, with bathrobes, coffee machine and kettle, separate toilet, very spacious, beautiful and warm. The bed was perfect, which is quite rare. The welcome was friendly, attentive and efficient"

"Waystop on long drive through France and frankly quite concerned when we realised The Victoria Hotel was literally right outside the train station - usually an area of any city to be wary of. However, both Valances train station and the Victoria Hittel exceeded expectations. Firstly the arrangement with the Q-Park underground station car park was very convenient - and I don't think we have experienced a cleaner and more secure spot. The station area was actually pleasant - no sign of the usual vagrants for such an area. And finally, the Victoria Hotel was neat and clean, good rooom, very nice breakfast and helpful staff."
