Hotels near Baluarte, Vigan

Quite clean and nice hotel, located very near Calle Crisologo. Staff are friendly and helpful as well. Definitely I will stay at this hotel if I go to Vigan again.

Good location! Clean and very prompt cleaners. I asked for a calesa to drive us around town, and they said yes, they have a contact who will come pick us up at the agreed time. And then the time came and the calesa did not show up, they called the calesa driver and he said that he has a customer. So he advised hotel people to tell us to just go get calesa at the park. This (service) would have been 5/5 if they immediately told us that it's the busy season so we don't know if someone can pick you up (and could have advised us to just go pick up a calesa in burgos park where there's a station. Other than that, they were excellent!

Hotel Veneto de Vigan is a beautifully restored heritage mansion dating back to around 1740. It was once an ancestral home and is now a charming bed & breakfast right in the heart of UNESCO-listed Vigan, just a short walk from Calle Crisologo. I really appreciated how they preserved the Spanish-era architecture and colonial details—it truly feels like stepping back in time. That said, while the ambiance is lovely, the facilities could use improvement. The hot water isn’t actually that hot, the water pressure is very weak, and the “high-speed internet” isn’t as advertised. They have dozens of different Wi-Fi names, so you need to reconnect every time you move to another part of the hotel. Although some room upgrades have been made, the amenities still feel a bit dated. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for its history and location, but expect some compromises in comfort.

It was a nice stay. Location is fabulous, basically everything in walking distance. The room was clean, but you will only have a thin sheet to cover yourself. The weather is hot and you only need to adjust the AC temperature to your liking, so it works. Maybe they can provide more for you to cover, but I am very used to backpacking so I have things with me and didn’t bother to ask. There was only lukewarm water in my room. No hot shower but again, it’s hot and that works. Towels and all, you will have to prepare yourself. You get what you pay for with this price. If you use to backpack and want to save money, this place is great. But if you expect for a normal hotel service, then you should choose another place. As others say, this place is mainly run by persons with disabilities, which I personally think it’s a great thing and they earn with their livelihood! They speak good English and very very accommodating! They helped me to make phone calls to enquire the bus schedule, and let me check in right away when i reached there at 5am by an overnight bus. My booking started from that night and i was thinking to leave my suitcase there first and came back in the afternoon. But they gave me the room right away, so I could also sleep a few hours before starting my day. Truly appreciated and highly recommend to experienced backpackers.

Hospitality, kindness, cleanliness ans service were there as expected. I can only advise you to continue this way same if it would be nice to offer some croissants and pains au chocolats at the breakfast… Be sure if I had to come back in here in the future, I’ll come back there ! And I’d recommand certainly your Hôtel.

The staff were very courteous and accommodating. The room was comfortable and worth the price. The food they served was delicious, and we appreciated that they allowed us to check in early, which allowed us to rest properly.

Very good and very clean. Very accomodating staff. We definitely enjoyed our stay in that accomodation. Love live life! Happy Holidays!

Hotel very well placed Old but in the colonial city part We asked for a kettle 100 pesos a day after negotiation 50 But it’s excessive because it’s free in other hotels Small night market after the empanadas cathedral at 35 pesos not the best in town but the closest to the hotel

Rooms is for budget solo travelers and is quite small especially the shower area. Shower pressure was pretty much non-existing. No windows. For the price, I think it’s okay considering the location. WiFi is fast and smart TV. Complimentary breakfast was filling but if you are a heavy breakfast eater, you’ll definitely want to have another meal. Very helpful and courteous staffs.

For me, They need to update their location in Google Maps, because when we are going to our accommodation we are lost, due to wrong pin of the location. Over all its good.
