"Great location on the edge of Dartmoor, pretty much straight onto the moor from the hotel. Looks a bit tired from the outside, but is always really clean and well decorated inside. Staff are always really friendly and accommodating. Good pubs nearby for an evening meal, the Post inn is in walking distance and other good ones a short drive away. Can really recommend the Taw River Inn in Sticklepath."

"I 've just had my 75th birthday celebration at the Two Bridges & the whole experience was wonderful. We stayed 2 nights this time plus we had lots of family & friends staying aswell. The arrangements for the celebration were first class , we had exceptional service throughout our stay. We had a lovely function room leading out to a garden at the back . The hotel is one of my favourite hotels , its traditional set in beautiful surroundings on Dartmoor. Lots of great walks around & not too far from Tavistock if you want to go into town. Our bedroom had a four poster bed in it & was very comfortable & clean."
