Also, due to the old building, soundproofing is poor; I could hear other guests outside and people chatting in the lobby. One morning, I encountered a group of loud people, which was a bit annoying. Facilities: It has all the essentials of a guesthouse, but maintenance is average. The courtyard landscaping is rather rough, the window handles inside were broken, the key was tied with a simple rope and easily lost, and the light switches were poorly placed; you had to walk to the door to turn off the lights. Cleanliness: Average. Upon check-in, I found wads of toilet paper on the router, thick water stains on the shower glass and faucets, unclean window glass, dirt on the cabinets, and dirty socks on the floor. People who are particularly concerned about cleanliness probably won't like it. Environment: Overall, the location is excellent, situated between Hongcun and Tachuan, both within a 20-minute walk, with a pleasant natural environment. In the off-season, you can drive directly, and you can go to Xidi Nanping Lu Village. The boss was very enthusiastic and provided breakfast. The first time I couldn't find it, I picked us up. I feel that there is some inconvenience around. There is no convenience store or small supermarket in the village. It is a bit difficult to buy some things temporarily. Fortunately, the boss has helped to buy them. When I went there, the rapeseed flowers had already thanked me. If you catch up with the flowering, the scenery should be beautiful. I was very satisfied with this guesthouse. The hotel is located near the main entrance of Hongcun (west gate), right next to Nanhu Lake. The advantage of this proximity is that I could get up early to photograph Hongcun at dawn, and then return to my hotel bed for a nap just minutes later. The bedding was very comfortable, and the towels and other toiletries were of good quality, not thin disposable ones. Highly recommended.
