3-Star Hotels in Marrakesh-Safi, Morocco

We stayed at this Riad for three nights and didn't regret it at all! It was beautiful and atmospheric, like stepping into a fairy tale, and it was so cool to be able to experience their history and culture. The host, who greeted us and then helped us with all our questions, was very polite and welcoming. The breakfasts were very generous and filling, and I especially appreciate their coffee (a true work of art). There's also a swimming pool for free access😍 There was a small cafe next to the Riad; it was very inexpensive and incredibly delicious😌 We thought long and hard about booking this place, but we haven't regretted our decision at all💛

It was good for the price. Great location in Gueliz, very close to the shopping centre etc and easy to get to the medina either via bus or walking. There was a bit of an inconsistency with breakfast. It’s bought over to you on a tray rather being a buffet. You’re not asked what you would like, it’s more of a get what you’re given sort of thing. Several times people I heard people being offered a pancake or given bread etc on other tables and I wasn’t. However, the pastries were really nice. I went to sit outside by the pool on one occasion while waiting for my airport transfer, there were a total of 3 sun loungers but lots of tables for people coming in to eat at restaurant. Some men came in and sat at the tables, ordered a drink and were smoking; it’s not a massive area so it’s all you could smell and breathe in. The pool area is mostly in the shade. The staff were very friendly and I was allowed to check in early. As a solo traveller was given a twin room rather than a double which was shown on the pictures when I booked as a ‘single’ room. It was fine though. The air-con works well, the beds are comfy and it was quiet. I LOVED Marrakech!

Highly recommend any travellers to Marrakesh to stay in this raid! It is walking distance to most of the attractions and the hospitality from this raid has been amazing! Staffs were very friendly and helpful too. The breakfast provided was amazing too! What you see in other reviews with regards to the mouldy bathrooms, I personally feel that it’s all part of the aesthetic of the raid. Apart from that, we loved our room in this raid as it was really clean and cosy!

J’ai séjourné à plusieurs reprises dans cet établissement et c’est toujours un vrai plaisir d’y retourner. Le service est irréprochable, le personnel est attentif et aux petits soins : il suffit de demander et tout est organisé avec efficacité, que ce soit pour un massage, une balade ou une excursion. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très propres et confortables. L’ensemble de l’établissement est impeccablement entretenu : les piscines, les parcs et les espaces extérieurs sont à la fois calmes et ressourçants. On y croise même quelques animaux comme des chats ou des paons, ce qui rend l’ambiance encore plus agréable et apaisante. La nourriture est excellente, variée et généreuse. De plus, la navette gratuite mise à disposition pour rejoindre la ville est un vrai plus. En résumé : propreté, confort, qualité du service et atmosphère relaxante… tout est top. Je recommande vivement cet établissement !

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel as a whole, including the rooms, is quite run down. The photos during booking are a bit different from reality… The beds are comfortable, and while the room is a bit small, it's bearable. The bathroom is large, BUT the plumbing is poor, and the water pressure is very low at any time of day. The breakfast is a buffet, and it's not bad.

It's just across the road from the train station. Taxis in Morocco are particularly expensive for foreigners, so staying here means you won't need to take taxis back and forth, making it much more convenient.

Great hotel that I experienced, the staff was friendly I enjoyed my stay. Hotel cleanliness is good, and everything looks good, highly recommend staying during Malakesh, if you come from the train or flight.

Reception was very good at Moroccan House, they booked a reliable airport transfer for us who actually turned up on time at 3.45 am! The air conditioner worked, unlike some other hotels close by.  It was nice having a fridge and a pool in the Summer heat.  The hotel looks like a Riad inside; much more character than it’s neighbouring hotels, also much cooler.  To top it all, Moroccan House was more affordable than the other hotels in the area.  Many thanks!

Mohammed was a wonderful host with great communication throughout our stay and the apartment was spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfy and so was the sofa bed according to my son. Lots of tea, coffee,sugar and other spices in the flat too so no need to bring or buy any of that. A real bonus was lots of universal power points all around the apartment for charging phones and devices. Towels , shower gel,shampoo, hairdryer and hair straighteners all provided too. Plenty of supermarkets nearby. I have been to Marrakech many times and prefer to stay in this area as it's a good walk to the Medina and has some great restaurants nearby, where you pay local prices not tourist prices ! For most tours a pickup point is at the station which is a 2 minute walk away. Mohammed printed out our return flight tickets for us and also booked us a cheap taxi to the airport too (again local price not tourist). Would definitely return here again. Great value and service. The facilities near the hotel are complete, and there are exchange shops, restaurants, police stations, and stations, which are very convenient. The hotel's dining room service is also delicious, and the price is right. The hotel staff will take your luggage for you from the moment you enter the hotel. The service attitude is very good. What's more, the security guard standing outside the hotel is very friendly and helpful!
