I was concerned about staying here because of the area and the chain, but honestly it was fine. I felt safe and the room was clean and had what I needed. No frills but no issues.

WOW....THIS IS A GREAT PLACE......AND CHEAP!!! We wanted to be close by the Catalina Express and also the NCL Cruise ship as we are doing both.... The host here is very friendly....we arrived 3 hours early so she let us put our bags in the office and she gave us some great food ideas....so we ate lunch and then went on the USS Iowa moored just a mile away....WOW WHAT A GREAT SHIP TOUR......well worth the price....took us about 3 hours.......A LYFT one way is less than $10 or you can take the city bus,,,but the wait is about 45 mins....Cab is just over $10..........This place is so clean and well taken care of and seems to be very quiet.....The neighborhood is full of places to eat....I dont think the neighborhood is to bad either,,,,use common sense as always and stay on the main streets and I bet you will be O.K.

Good relative to its low cost: very clean and very basic, with a large comfortable bed. Yes it’s an old-style motel but that’s what makes it quaint and charming, like going back in time to the 1970s. Don’t listen to the negative reviews, those sound like they’re from guests who expected more newness and luxury - which this is not. It’s OK for a cheap overnight stay when you have a connecting flight at SFO. The free shuttle bus was packed and standing room only in the morning, but had a friendly driver.

Nice clean hotel! Near the center of the minuses yes, there are homeless people nearby, but this is San Francisco! Trolleybus stop 31 to Ocean Beach is right next to the hotel. The hotel has everything you need: shampoo, shower gel, air conditioning, hair dryer. Bed linen is clean. Tea, coffee, water with lemon for free. And the most amazing thing is that the price is very reasonable, about $ 60 per night (November 2024). They allowed me to leave my things after check-out. They speak English and Spanish, which is very convenient for me!

The front desk and service staff are cordial and very helpful. The room is clean, safe and comfortable, with complete facilities, the swimming pool is clean, and there is a tuck shop for snacks and drinks.

The private rooms are truly a hidden gem! The shared rooms are a good value, though, nowhere near as good as private for twice the price. The kitchen is shared with many guests, but, was quite usable. The security was much better than Chapter hostel which seemed to be mismanaged at this point in time if you are reading recent reviews.

I was really happy with my stay. The location is right in the heart of Chinatown, surrounded by numerous restaurants and attractions. The highlight was the staff—they are incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. I will definitely book this place again the next time I’m in town!

We stayed for 3 nights to go to California Disney. It's a little far from Disney, so we were tired and decided to walk the streets at night after the park closed. However, there is a Disney parking lot (Toy Story parking) within a 5-minute walk! They take you to the park by bus for free, so it was safe and very convenient. The buses run regularly. As expected, there were a few lines to get on the bus around opening and closing times. As for the room, I'm concerned about the plumbing. It seems to vary depending on the room, but it was very difficult to adjust the shower temperature.

Very nice hostel. The check in was a bit of an issue despite paying on trip.com they stated I had a balance due because I never made a payment and asked me to due so. I showed them the receipt from trip.com and all was well. They do require you to scan a QR code to send a text on WhatsApp to get all the information for your room. My phone was on 5% upon arrival this isn’t convenient. There are only two toilets on the floor with several rooms. The facilities are very clean. However there was hair left in my blanket I was given. Very cold in the room and if you’re near the street you hear everything. Overall great for an overnight stay but not more than 2 days

Under the high-speed bridge, the surrounding environment is a bit deserted and desolate, the room is a bit noisy, the facilities are good, the staff is more complicated, most of them are the surrounding construction workers and Indian Asan, playing music outside the door, chatting, etc., some noisy and a little scared, after all, still worried about safety, I chatted with them a few words, I feel relatively simple, I feel relieved, breakfast is the same hotel, it is not bad, parking is convenient.

Good value for money, the hostel is in good condition. There is free breakfast, coffee, milk, bread, cereal, muffins are all available, the toilet and bathroom are clean and convenient to use.

This hotel is within walking distance of Union Station. I think the location is good. However, there are many homeless people around the hotel, so it is not a very safe area. All the necessary facilities are available. It is hard to get hot water in the shower. It was good that you can get water for free from the water server.

It’s an amazing hostel right in the walk of fame. Perfect location, it’s was to get from there to any part of the city. The receptionists are super friendly and can recommend very good places to visit. Plus a great bonus is breakfast included ( bagels, toasts, oranges, jam, tea, coffee)

The shower curtain in the hotel was not taken care of well, and the water would always be exposed, making the entire bathroom floor very damp. The room next door smelled like smoke. The hotel did not provide toothbrushes, hairdryers, and slippers, so you have to bring your own.

I stayed here from 7/2 to watch the Dodgers. I knew about it, but there was no air conditioning. I was able to sleep without it, but if you can't sleep without it, you should avoid it. I left the window open when I went out, but it felt a bit stuffy when I returned to the room after the game. Miyako Hotel is across the street, and the Japanese Village is next to it. There is a supermarket called Nijiya inside, so you can buy rice balls and bento boxes. It is open from 9:00 to 21:00. If you want to eat out, there are restaurants nearby, so you won't have any trouble. The hotel is on the second and third floors above Daikokuya, and there are two shared toilets and showers on each floor. I never had to wait to use them. There is a kitchen on the second floor, a microwave, a stove, a refrigerator, and a server that dispenses hot and cold water, so you can put it directly into your cup noodles. There wasn't much space in the refrigerator, but there were three. There are tables and chairs, so you can eat there. There is a Little Tokyo metro station nearby, about a 5-minute walk away. At first, I was worried about the security of the subway, so I walked about 15 minutes to Union Station, but when I tried it out, there was a security guard on the platform, so I used it often after that. The waiting time depends on the time, but it's only one stop to Union Station, so it's about 5 minutes. There was a security guard even when I used it early in the morning, so I was able to use it without worry. Santa Monica is just under 50 minutes without changing trains, and Hollywood is just one change away. Anyway, if you don't mind no air conditioning and shared toilets and showers, this is a great place to stay, so it's definitely recommended. It's relatively cheap in Los Angeles, where prices are rising. It's still expensive by Japanese standards. There are many Japanese staff, and they are very friendly and have a homely feel. The building is quite old, but they cleaned it.

I was looking for a hotel in the Hollywood area that was safe and had good access for sightseeing, so I decided to stay at this hotel. The Chinese Theater is also within walking distance, so access is great! The hotel staff was very kind and friendly. During breakfast, there was even a staff member who made waffles for us! All the staff were very hospitable, so I would like to stay there again if I have the opportunity. Speaking of the negative aspects, The bed was clean, but as a Japanese person, I felt that the bath was a bit disappointing. Also, because the walls are thin, you can hear other guests' voices and snoring at night. It didn't bother me, but I wouldn't recommend it to people with sensitive skin.

Parking was $20 per night, not $10 as advertised. Other than that, our stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable, our room was very spacious, it was clean and there was an abundance of amenities.

It's located in Koreatown, and the front desk staff are Korean, so the rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and I'm completely satisfied!! There are a lot of Korean restaurants nearby, so it's good. I wanted to go to the convenience store to buy water at night, but they waited outside the hotel for fear of being dangerous... So Sweet ㅜㅜ Highly recommended!!

I took 2 granddaughters to Disneyland. My budget is limited so Queens Inn was perfect for the price. The only thing is, it has 2 stories & if you are on the bottom floor people seem to make alot of noise above you, like kids running up & down or adults stomping across the room. The girls went into the pool once because apparently it was too cold. There is a Denny's across the road & opposite that is a small market/grocery store where if you buy 1 of those gallon water bottles then you can refill for 25 cents. There is no breakfast at this hotel but I bought a big box of cereal each from home & bought a 4 pack of bowls from K mart for $2 & breakfast was done. Outside Denny's is a bus stop but download the ART bus app. I paid $48usd for the 3 of us for 3 days & it saved our legs especially when done in Disney. There are also 2 Service stations with Orca right next door & the other across from that. There is a wonderful new laundromat next door as well. Overall our stay was nice & front desk people were helpful. I would stay there again even though I usually stay more in the vicinity of Disneyland Park. There is also lots of eateries around & a 20 minute walk up the road to Target which sells not only clothes but groceries & fresh fruit & Veg as well.

I used it for 2 nights and 3 days to go to Disney. The hair dryer didn't work the first night, but when I told the front desk they replaced it with a new one. They also kept my luggage after check out, which was very convenient. Other room facilities are sufficient for solo travelers. thank you very much.

2 large beds, can sleep 4 people, breakfast is American style, rooms are very good, the hotel has a shuttle to and from Disney, swimming pool and hot spring

The location is very good. There are many restaurants, gas stations and supermarkets nearby. 20 minutes drive from Laguna Beach Public security is very good The room also has a small balcony A little bit old The service people are very nice It’s just that there’s no cleaning every afternoon. It has local characteristics. Although the facilities are old, the Latin American waiters are very enthusiastic, especially the girl at the front desk, who helped me lock my car and introduced me to the Great Park. There is an outdoor swimming pool, spa, and convenient parking. Of course you can stay in a hotel, but they are all similar. This type of Inn is also very comfortable and clean.

It was close to the airport, so it was easy to move around, and it was nice to be able to use the free shuttle to the airport. The bed was spacious and clean, so I was able to stay worry-free.

The location is very good, very close to Disney. The surrounding environment is also good, with complete facilities and good hygiene. It's a pity that I went downstairs at 10 o'clock and didn't have breakfast. The breakfast time is 6:30 to 9:30.

Good location. The room layout was very good. Freeway access was very good. Breakfast is on 4th floor. Found it interesting that it would be in the 4th floor but understandable.

Very good, the facilities are very complete, the room is on the second floor, the bed is also quite big, the room is also quite big. There is a coffee pot to boil water. Separate bathroom and toilet, wardrobe and mirror. Free parking. There is also a swimming pool downstairs, which is very comfortable. The hotel is located in a 15-minute drive from the old city, the zoo, and the ocean world if you have a car. It is very convenient to get in and out. Recommended.

Very poor internet connection. No wardrobe, not even a hanger nor hook for clothes. Booked a room for 4. 4 towels but only 1 hook (only one in the whole room) in the toilets for all to share??!! There is a microwave and a fridge. Iron but no ironing board. I called to check, was told that all rooms with the wardrobe room was fully booked. If there isn’t wardrobe available, the least is to provide more hooks around the room. The breakfast area is super crowded and crazy small given the numbers of room they have. BF selection includes scrambled eggs, beef patty, self-make waffle, cereals, whole orange, yoghurt, breads and muffins. 7 mins to SeaWorld and 3 mins to foods and stores. Overall, the room is clean, heater works well, plenty of carparks lots. All the staffs are working very hard (to replenish the breakfast) and housekeepers are friendly, it’s the Inn problems.

The hotel is in a good location, being right next to the harbor. Free parking was a great plus. The room was decent, with coffee machine and plenty of channels on the TV. The bed was too soft for me, but that’s a personal preference. The gym looked small, but had free weights which is nice. The pool is also small, though I didn’t use it. There’s also free breakfast, which I also didn’t take advantage of. Light sleepers will need earplugs though, as it’s a busy street with cars passing by

Our stay was nice and relaxing, which was the reason for getting away. The room was pleasant and very clean. And the bed was comfortable. I slept like a baby. There weren't many amenities, but they did have the most important one, as far as I'm concerned, the beautiful swimming pool. I was very inviting. And the customer service was great. Very friendly, professional staff. I would definitely recommend Motel 6, to my friends and family.

The hotel is clean and the interior environment is good. I like the big sofa. But that's all the advantages. It's next to the light rail, Little Italy. It's convenient, but it's next to the railway crossing. The trains are really noisy in the middle of the night. There are not only passenger trains like Coaster and Pacific Surfliner on that track, but also large freight trains. The smell of the street when you turn right out of the hotel is really a bit explosive. There are no slippers, toothbrushes and water. They are sold downstairs, 💲4 a bottle. But the lobby guy is nice and gave me a bottle. Breakfast is a disaster. There are so many people, and the hot food is scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes. The rest is to make your own bread and queue up to make waffles. The apple juice machine produces clear water...

After entering the country from Mexico, I found the cheapest hotel. I had never stayed in the Super 8 in China, so I didn't know what the relationship was between the two. The rooms were similar to the workers' rooms on our construction sites.

The hotel is old and really need renovation. The air conditioner is rather noisy and I have to put my earbuds on when sleeping. Unluckily our two rooms only have a small window overhead in bathroom while other has a large windows the back. It made the room rather dark and the main switch for the light is out of order, we have to walk carefully across the bed to turn on the light which was placed between the two beds. The room condition was quite different from the pictures shown. The location is good and convenient but the cleanliness is far below standard. Somebody vomit in front of the parking lot gate that is the main entrance to our rooms’ building, it was not cleaned when 3 days was passed. As a budget hotel, we won’t expect much but the maintenance of facilities and the cleanliness must be up to standard. Sure we won’t come again.

Although it is an old hotel, the health is good, the staff is also very good, the first time I stayed in the car hotel, I felt like I was on the street when I left the door. It was a very interesting stay.
