"WonderI had such a great and memorable stay here! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted so warmly by the team. We were even given an early check-in at 11am, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our arrival so much more comfortable. We rented a scooter during our stay, and I found the rental very reasonable. We also kept requesting the buggy whenever needed, and the staff were always helpful and accommodating. The next day, we requested a late check-out until 1pm, which was arranged for IDR 200,000. We also had lunch here, and the food was excellent — definitely one of the highlights of our stay! We had a BBQ on our last night, and the food was absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious, and it was such a wonderful way to end our stay. We also went for another round of archery, and when we returned, something really wonderful happened. One of the reception staff, Rizal (if I remember his name correctly), had found my cousin’s wallet, which we didn't even realise she had lost! We were so grateful for his honesty and attentiveness. It really showed how caring and trustworthy the staff are. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. The warm hospitality, helpful staff, great food and little touches throughout our visit made the experience even more special. Thank you to the entire team for taking such good care of us. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back again! ❤️"

"I really enjoyed my stay at Grand Eska Hotel & Suites! What stood out for me was its proximity to ESKA Spa & Wellness, convenient location, reasonable price, and most importantly, the friendly and helpful staff. I also really appreciated the flexibility with check-in. Although the room keys could only be collected after 2pm, the hotel was happy to let me check in earlier and leave my bags with the concierge. This meant I could head out and explore Batam without having to worry about my luggage. If there was one area for improvement, it would definitely be the towels. I think the hotel could do with a fresh set of good-quality white towels, as the current ones looked a little old and musty. I was honestly tempted to bring my own when i come back next time! 😅 Other than that, it was a really pleasant and comfortable stay. With new towels, it would have been pretty much perfect! Would definitely consider staying here again, especially for the convenience, value for money and wonderful service. ⭐️"

"This hotel is really beautiful. All the staff, from reception to the bellboy, are excellent and friendly. It's a new hotel, close to Grand Batam Mall. The interior is definitely more on the modern side. The only downside is that the toilets don't have a bidet spray. That's the only flaw; everything else is A+, including breakfast. For Malaysians, you should try it – it's really affordable for this kind of quality."

"The location of the hotel was great, just a short 5 mins walk from the Habourbay Terminal. However, was rather disappointed by the service and facilities. (1) Room had a weird stale, musty smell when we first checked in to our room, but the smell eventually went away after 2-3h with aircon circulation. It was bearable but we could really use an air freshener. (2) We were not informed that the gym/pool had opening or closing times. There were also no signs indicating as such. When we tried to visit the gym at around 10pm, everything was already closed. (3) On the amenities, we had to make repeated checks receptionist that we can get a shaving razor and instant coffee. At first, the housekeeping didn't understand what we wanted. The first receptionist at the front desk simply just tried to waive us away by saying they are not available. It was only after we approached a second receptionist did they finally understood and brought it out for us. The shower gel also ran out after the first night and housekeeping did not refill it despite cleaning the room in the day. (4) The hotel spa, despite saying they were open for 24h and that a reservation was required, repeatedly told us to go to their counter at the 4th floor to check on availability. We went there and checked at least 6 times during our 3D2N stay and each time, we were told that there was no immediate availability but to come back at a later time instead. They also turned us away when we tried to make an advance booking. They could have saved time for everyone by just saying there was no availability and reservations were unavailable instead of asking us to come back every now and then. Overall, the service level was very disappointing for a 4-star hotel. There are better and cheaper hotel options around the Harbourbay area."

"As retirees visiting Batam, we were looking for a hotel with a gym and breakfast, and convenience for both exercise and dining. While the hotel is a bit older, it has an authentic Indonesian feel. The room cleaning was quite good, and the room itself was spacious. The breakfast selection was a bit limited, but a pleasant surprise was that they offered latte coffee."

"Room was a little dirty (we found bugs on the bed, lizards on the walls and cats meowing at the door when we were trying to sleep). Room service was good for the first few days, but over the thursday and friday it took 1 hour 30mins for 3 drinks to reach the room -- it was as if they forgot about our order. location is out of the tourist area on the east side of the beach, so not much to do at night but we already knew this before hand so no complaints there. Pool breakfast was great, food was decent and overall a decent stay for its price point, although definitely room for improvement"
