This hotel is about a 15-minute walk from Higashi-Okazaki Station. Everything else is very good. The breakfast has a lot of variety compared to other hotels and is very good. You can see Okazaki Castle from the large bath!
I recently stayed at Hotel Grand Tiara Minami Nagoya and overall had a very pleasant experience!
The room size was excellent — spacious, comfortable, and perfect if you’re planning to relax or unpack fully during your stay. It felt roomier than many other hotels in the area, which made it much easier to settle in and move around.
One of the big advantages was that the hotel provides free parking if you’re driving — a huge plus for travellers with a rental car. The parking area is ample and convenient, so you don’t have to worry about finding a spot nearby.

I recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at VIA INN NAGOYA EKIMAE TSUBAKICHO, and it was fantastic!
Location
- The hotel is perfectly situated right above a shopping mall and close to train stations. You can access everything you need just by taking the elevator down!
- It offers easy travel to nearby attractions such as Gero's oden and Shirakawa-go, making it a great base for exploring the countryside.
Amenities
- The staff is incredibly helpful, especially when it comes to luggage storage before and after your stay.
- The views from the hotel are spectacular, particularly from the higher floors.
Overall Experience
- I loved the convenience of being in the city center and, despite the hustle and bustle below, enjoying a peaceful stay in a beautiful hotel.
- I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Nagoya!
The stunning views, convenient location, and excellent service truly made my stay memorable. Highly recommended!
We used this hotel to go to Ghibli Park.
We travelled by car and didn't use the train, but I thought it was very conveniently located as the station was close by.
We stayed there with a 2-year-old child, and the staff were very kind and spoke to us, so we were glad that we had a comfortable stay from start to finish.
The room, bathroom, and toilet were clean, and for breakfast we had a buffet of fruit, Western and Japanese food as well as pancakes that could be ordered, so our child was able to eat a lot.
It was night so it was difficult to find the parking lot, but once we looked carefully at the signs it was fine.
It was only about 30 minutes to Ghibli Park using the highway, so we'd like to use this hotel again when we go there.

The renovated rooms are really modern and well-equipped. They're not huge, but super convenient! Takashimaya is within walking distance, and it's easy to get to Meitetsu Station. Perfect for sightseeing. There are tons of shopping and dining options nearby, so you'll never have to worry about food. For breakfast, they even offer Nagoya specialties like Ogura toast and Kishimen noodles. I'd definitely choose this place again on my next trip!
The breakfast is rich, with both Japanese and Western food, but the miso soup is red miso, which tastes a bit salty. The rest are all ok. The corn soup is rich in flavor, which is my favorite!

This hotel is conveniently located near Nagoya TV Tower in the bustling downtown area, about 500-600 meters from the subway station and two stops from the city center, making it great for sightseeing and shopping. You can even walk to Nagoya Castle and the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology. The breakfast is quite substantial, and the rooms are clean. In the evenings, there are plenty of affordable and delicious restaurants and pubs nearby. It's an excellent choice for a stay in Nagoya.

Nagoya Hotel Super Close to the Subway | Excellent Location, High Value for Money
After browsing on a travel app for a while, I chose this hotel. Reviews online were mixed, so I was a bit nervous checking in!
Overall, I found it to be okay by the time I left. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very clean! If you're staying multiple nights, the hotel does a fixed cleaning on the third day after check-in.
Since this hotel doesn't clean daily, you can ask the front desk if you need it.
There's a 24-hour Don Quijote right near the hotel! Shopping is very convenient!
⚠️ However, this hotel surprisingly doesn't have shower caps 😧~

Conveniently located yet quiet. The room was clean and tidy, with prompt daily housekeeping, making it a peaceful and cozy stay. Breakfast included unagi don (eel rice bowl), which was small but exquisite. The large public bath had long opening hours and even provided crowd status updates, which I truly appreciated! 👍

The hotel's facilities are great! The entire building feels brand new, and the location is decent – not right in the heart of Sakae station's subway area, but a 5-10 minute walk from exit 12 or 13.
After a 4-night stay, my main suggestion would be to add a humidifier to the rooms. It's a standard amenity in Japan, and its absence felt a bit off. Other than that, everything was excellent. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Nagoya.

GGan Yung ChyanCentrair Hotel is of less than one minute walk from Chubu Centrair Airport Terminal 1, about four minutes walk from the Flight of Dreams and Terminal 2, and of five minutes' walk to Aichi Sky Expo. On the day that I stayed, it costs me around S$235 and it is the first day of trade event JATA Tourism Expo 2025. This is by far my most expensive airport hotel stay in Japan. I hope the hotel can review the rate in comparison with standard airport hotels in other parts of the country when a trade event is held. Other airport hotels do not charge that extremely high.
Despite the exorbitant rate, I enjoy my stay as I am able to view paintings with the aviation theme, aircraft models, see aircraft landing on and moving along the runway, see the giant Dreamlifters from my room, stand showering in the small bathroom and the bed is comfortable but the toilet bowl is separated from the bathroom.
The Pacific side level rooms are accessible by touch of the hotel keycard before the main door and this section comes before the guest lounge.
There is the dedicated Vegetarian Menu area for vegetarians at the hotel's Cosmos Restaurant. The queue for breakfast starts from 5.50 am and the last order for breakfast is at 9.30 am. Guests will like dining at this restaurant but on the day of check-out there is no queue at all. The restaurant does not allow takeaways. So, I wonder why the room rate was that high and rooms were sold out under the free breakfast option.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right in the same building as Meitetsu Station, just upstairs. The Nohi Bus stop is conveniently downstairs. There's a fantastic unagi restaurant upstairs that's very popular, often with a 30-minute wait. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy because of the trains downstairs, but it usually quiets down after 11 PM.

MMavis Yu Ling ChiuOur family had an absolutely delightful stay at Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. We did encounter a slight hiccup during check-in, as the hotel requested us to email our Trip.com check-in voucher for confirmation/arrangement, which caused a minor delay. However, this was quickly resolved, and it didn't detract from our overall experience.
A highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the complimentary nightly ramen, which quickly became a cherished ritual for us. The delicious, comforting bowls were the perfect end to our busy days exploring Nagoya. Even more remarkable was the hotel's fantastic onsen. After long hours of sightseeing and walking, immersing ourselves in the soothing hot springs was pure bliss. It truly melted away all our travel fatigue, leaving us refreshed and rejuvenated for the next day's adventures. The combination of superb amenities and thoughtful touches made our stay incredibly memorable. We highly recommend Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae for families seeking comfort, relaxation, and a taste of authentic Japanese hospitality.
MMiemiesnowWhen I arrived, I dropped my luggage off at the front desk for pre-check-in. Later that evening, after a day out, I went to the concierge. I encountered a girl who, based on her name later, seemed Chinese. I told her in English that I was there to pick up my room key and handed her my passport. She then demanded, “Give me your luggage tag.” I thought she misunderstood and thought I was there to retrieve my luggage, so I reiterated that I was there for my room key. She snapped back impatiently, “That's why I need your luggage tag!” It's perfectly normal for a first-time guest not to know they need a luggage tag to get their room key. Why did she have to be so rude?
YyouyuguitarLocated on an upper floor, this place doesn't quite feel like a traditional hotel. The multi-story parking garage was a bit inconvenient, as getting in and out was a hassle. However, there are plenty of convenience stores and eateries nearby, and it's only a 15-minute walk to Parco. The room had an odd angled layout, which was a bit strange. On the plus side, the service was good. Since there was only an escalator going up to the front desk, it was difficult to bring luggage down. The front desk staff impressively changed the elevator's direction for me – that was some seriously amazing service! 😅
GGuest UserI really enjoyed my stay. Hotel interior is beautiful and clean. Great location as there are shops, restaurants, and convenient store right under the hotel. Also, connected to underground passage to nearby shopping malls and walking distance to Sakae Station.
AAnonymous UserFront Desk staffs were very helpful and they helped to make restaurant reservations. Room was spacious and clean. Location is good and is close to JR Nagoya. Overall good hotel, if price is a little bit cheaper, it will be better value for money.
