Located on an upper floor, this place doesn't quite feel like a traditional hotel. The multi-story parking garage was a bit inconvenient, as getting in and out was a hassle. However, there are plenty of convenience stores and eateries nearby, and it's only a 15-minute walk to Parco. The room had an odd angled layout, which was a bit strange. On the plus side, the service was good. Since there was only an escalator going up to the front desk, it was difficult to bring luggage down. The front desk staff impressively changed the elevator's direction for me – that was some seriously amazing service! 😅

This hotel is conveniently located near Nagoya TV Tower in the bustling downtown area, about 500-600 meters from the subway station and two stops from the city center, making it great for sightseeing and shopping. You can even walk to Nagoya Castle and the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology. The breakfast is quite substantial, and the rooms are clean. In the evenings, there are plenty of affordable and delicious restaurants and pubs nearby. It's an excellent choice for a stay in Nagoya.

Location: A 3-minute walk from Sakae subway station, on the north side of the station. Shopping areas are all on the south side, just across the road. The 'little sister' district, as mentioned online, is just one street away from the hotel. Facilities: The decor is a bit old-school, but it's very clean. Front Desk: Check-in was very fast, and you can get toiletries for free. Room: Pretty standard, slightly larger than the average Japanese room. My small suitcase could be fully opened on the floor. Value for Money: Considering its location around the Sakae commercial district and decent ratings, this is definitely one of the viable options.

The Vessel Inn Sakae in Nagoya is a truly excellent hotel, offering a fantastic experience thanks to its incredibly helpful staff, prime location in the vibrant Sakae area, and thoughtful amenities. Guests will appreciate the convenience of a 7-Eleven located directly beneath the hotel, the unique benefit of free space available after 2 AM, and complimentary drinks, all contributing to a comfortable and highly convenient stay in the heart of the city.

The staff's service attitude was excellent. For breakfast, they had chicken wings and Oden. The room I chose this time had a separate bathroom and toilet, so the toilet wouldn't get wet when showering. The hotel's location is superb, with a mall and restaurants downstairs. If you love shopping, you probably couldn't cover it all in one day. It's only a 45-minute drive from Nagashima Outlet (Anpanman, amusement park) and Legoland. However, parking isn't included in the hotel fee, and it costs 2200 yen per day (as of January 2026).

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the same building as Meitetsu Station, just upstairs. The Nohi Bus stop is conveniently downstairs. There's a fantastic unagi restaurant upstairs that's very popular, often with a 30-minute wait. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy because of the trains downstairs, but it usually quiets down after 11 PM.

The biggest advantages: 1. Free parking available. 2. Features a large public bath. 3. Surrounded by many shopping malls. 4. Excellent cleanliness. 5. Breakfast includes eel rice (unadon). Disadvantages: The room wasn't what I wanted; the floor was too low. Although it had a balcony, it was too far from the elevator, and since my mother has difficulty walking, the room being so far inside with no alternative was inconvenient.

I stayed at this hotel on the first day of my trip. The overall facilities were very nice and the service was great. The room was also very clean, and the lounge was especially impressive. Guests were able to use it for free within a set time, and it was great to be able to relax while enjoying various alcoholic beverages and coffee. The gym facilities were also great. If I visit Toyohashi again, I would like to stay a little longer. Thank you!

Good value with exceptional service We were extremely satisfied with the services and had a delightful experience in that hotel. Our package included room, breakfast and dinner. Due to a minor traffic incident, we were unable to meet our dinner time of 6:00 pm. We contacted the hotel and they kindly accommodated us and provided attentive service. We were deeply touched by their care and consideration. The assistance to report of the traffic incident to the local insurance company was unexpectedly smooth with the help of the staff. The language proficiency of the staff was impressive, as they efficiently resolved language-related issues we faced. Furthermore, the traditional charm of the hotel exceeded our expectations and added to our enjoyment - good value. We will recommend the hotel to others and look forward to visiting again in the future. Special thanks to Ms. Oromo Rie, Mr. Toyama, and the staff responsible for our meals.

The reason I came back to the hotel is because of staffs. All of them are so professional and feel try their very best to all customers. My children were also happy to receive their great and kind service. One thing to take note here for myself is, It’s better to make a reservation for dinner at the 2F buffet restaurant even weekdays. Last time we just dropped by and not many groups, but this time almost full.. however still lucky to have seats as my children wanted.

KKafeishangdemaoerduoThe renovated rooms are really modern and well-equipped. They're not huge, but super convenient! Takashimaya is within walking distance, and it's easy to get to Meitetsu Station. Perfect for sightseeing. There are tons of shopping and dining options nearby, so you'll never have to worry about food. For breakfast, they even offer Nagoya specialties like Ogura toast and Kishimen noodles. I'd definitely choose this place again on my next trip!

MMavis Yu Ling ChiuOur family had an absolutely delightful stay at Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service. We did encounter a slight hiccup during check-in, as the hotel requested us to email our Trip.com check-in voucher for confirmation/arrangement, which caused a minor delay. However, this was quickly resolved, and it didn't detract from our overall experience. A highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the complimentary nightly ramen, which quickly became a cherished ritual for us. The delicious, comforting bowls were the perfect end to our busy days exploring Nagoya. Even more remarkable was the hotel's fantastic onsen. After long hours of sightseeing and walking, immersing ourselves in the soothing hot springs was pure bliss. It truly melted away all our travel fatigue, leaving us refreshed and rejuvenated for the next day's adventures. The combination of superb amenities and thoughtful touches made our stay incredibly memorable. We highly recommend Dormy Inn Premium Nagoya Sakae for families seeking comfort, relaxation, and a taste of authentic Japanese hospitality.

GGuest UserLEGOLAND is perfect for preschoolers, and the LEGOLAND Hotel is fantastic with its themed floors like Kingdom, Ninjago, Friends, and Pirates. The elevator even plays disco lights! The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious food. The shopping street next door, however, closes quite early.

GGuest User1. The hotel boasts an excellent location in the Sakae shopping district, surrounded by numerous department stores and offering convenient transportation. If you're coming by subway, take exit 13 (which only has stairs) – but don't climb the stairs! Don't climb the stairs! Don't climb the stairs! Instead, walk straight ahead until you see a mall entrance, go inside, turn right, walk all the way to the end, turn left, and walk straight through the automatic doors. You'll then be on B1 of the hotel! The check-in desk is on the 24th floor. 2. The hotel room's design is quite clever, featuring many hidden storage spaces, which is rather interesting. The room is very clean, and the amenities are comprehensive. Both the daytime and nighttime window views are fantastic! Oh, and there's a FamilyMart convenience store and a drug store on B1, which is very convenient. 3. Nearby landmarks include the Nagoya TV Tower and the famous Atsuta Houraiken for hitsumabushi (grilled eel over rice, served three ways). If you want to go to Takashimaya at JR Station, it's just two subway stops away. All in all, I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit!

JJinghuahuotuiAlthough the room size isn't huge, it's quite acceptable for a major city like Nagoya. Every day, after returning to the hotel, I could relax in the large public bath on the rooftop, which really helped to relieve the day's fatigue. Since I didn't use the room's bathroom, I put my suitcase in there, which effectively increased the usable space in the bedroom. Plus, the hotel provides DHC cosmetics for free, which is definitely a highlight. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Sakae commercial district, Oasis 21, and Nagoya TV Tower. Nagoya Castle is only about a 15-minute walk away. For dinner, if you turn right out of the hotel and walk for about 5 minutes, you'll find an underground shopping street beneath the Nagoya TV Tower with all sorts of restaurants and a food supermarket. There's also a convenient store right outside the hotel. While the breakfast selection isn't incredibly diverse, I particularly enjoyed the unagi don (eel rice bowl) and ramen. The staff were very enthusiastic. Choosing this hotel for my stay was definitely a smart decision.
