The space is clean, spacious, and never overcrowded, making it a true haven for fitness enthusiasts. The location is simply unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Yangon, Hotel G offers unparalleled access to the city's most iconic landmarks. I was able to walk effortlessly to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, the historic Sule Pagoda, and several beautiful parks in the vicinity. This prime location not only saved me time and transportation costs but also allowed me to immerse myself in the local atmosphere and discover hidden gems along the way. The convenience of having such major attractions within walking distance truly enhanced my cultural experience. The service here is nothing short of exceptional. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. From the concierge who provided invaluable local insights to the housekeeping team who maintained impeccable standards of cleanliness, the attention to detail and genuine care for guests was evident in every interaction. Their professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to assist with any request made me feel truly valued as a guest. Safety and security were never a concern during my stay. The hotel maintains excellent security measures, and I felt completely at ease throughout my visit. Whether returning late in the evening or leaving early in the morning, the well-lit surroundings and attentive security staff provided complete peace of mind. "Everything was very nicely arranged. Except for the pool when i came to the level where the pool should be. There was smoke everywhere around the pool and it was not a safe experience. In my observation it looked like an electroc cable was melting and causing the smoke"

"Nice hotel, a 17-minute walk to Shwedagon Pagoda. Be more selective with your room choice upon arrival, as on the first night, my friend and I were given a ground-floor room with a view of pipes, a single bed, and a narrow toilet. After I requested a change, we were moved to a room one floor up, with two beds and a view of the neighboring rooftops. The staff are friendly and attentive; they'll help with any extra requests and you can store your luggage for free. Breakfast is a bit sparse, no boiled eggs, but otherwise, it's decent for an Asian-style breakfast. Be prepared for crows to swoop in on your food if you step away from the table, though the staff are on guard!"

"The food is clean, the hotel isn't far from the city center, and transportation is convenient. Plus, there's a large hospital right across the street."

"The Thanlwin meets all expectations. The staff is excellent and caters to every need. There's a Chinese restaurant (very good!), a Western restaurant (very good!), a rooftop pool, and a spa/massage area (very good but a bit pricey!). The prices are reasonable for the hotel's standard, though naturally a bit higher than other hotels. However, the quality is excellent. The food was exemplary, and the massages were extremely good, even if you could get them for half the price in Thailand. The cleanliness of the rooms is exemplary. The room amenities and size can only be described as sensational. I had a bathroom with a corner window and could see the pagoda from one of the top floors. Wonderful. The air conditioning is excellent, and the water pressure in the bathroom is perfect."

"The environment is great, right by the lake with fresh air, and all the facilities are well-equipped. The service is also very good, and the hygiene is excellent. The facilities might be a bit outdated due to the hotel's age, but overall, I'm very satisfied and will definitely stay here again next time."

"During check-in, there seemed to be a problem with the key card, which caused the check-in process to take a long time. After checking in, everything seemed normal, but eventually the key card didn't work. I don't understand why the staff didn't inform guests about the system malfunction. I couldn't access my room and had to go back to inform the staff, which meant they had to escort me to my room. The staff should have informed me from the beginning."

"I prefer Wyndham as a solo traveler but going with my partner, we decided on a bigger room and the 2 bedroom offered by Kantharyar was perfect. Dual washer and dryer saved me from hotel laundry service. Rooms are big, housekeeping came daily, checking in was quick and easy. Can't complain, service and amenities are superb. The Kantharyar come with the same amenities as Wyndham, you get the pool, small gym, and there's a shopping mall right next door."
