"Not exactly a four star place, if even three star. Nice big old building, great location at Marktplatz. Lovely staff, courteous and helpful. Breakfast lady a gem. But: in dire need of some investment - since the last one must have been around 2001. Get an interior decorator, bring the place up to modern standards, put in airco and a working wifi ( this one is a dystopic erratic and sluggish disaster - if you have to work online, do NOT book here!!!) Breakfast could be a little more lavish ( don’t be stingy on the cheeses, boys and girls - and a little salmon would not go amiss) The pillows are a joke - no: let me rephrase that: an insult. Recap: nice, not four star, huge room for improvement. Price/ quality: hm - not great. Become a genuine four star place first- then justify this price."

"Very quaint hotel decorated in medieval style. The hosts are friendly. We were given a warm welcome and looked after in the best possible way. There was always fresh fruit in the room and a welcome gift from the house (plum liqueur). Water and juice were also in the room the whole time. We had booked the Easter package. On Easter Saturday the landlady surprised us with a very tasty Easter bread from the local bakery. There was also coffee, which we enjoyed in the sun in front of the hotel on the small terrace (smoking). The breakfast is fresh, extensive and topped off with sparkling wine. The rolls are fresh and not pre-baked. Individual requests are taken into account. The hotel is ideally located in the middle of the old town. Everything is within walking distance. Information material is available in the hotel."

"First of all, very, very clean. The room is exceptionally cozy and cleverly decorated, there is everything you may need. Lovely comfortable room, comfy bed and good pillows. A wonderful view from the window, especially now when there is a beautiful Christmas tree in the square. There are at least two restaurants nearby and a charming market square. You can choose between paid parking (8.00-18.00 1.50 h) or free parking 10 minutes from the hotel. Convenient check-in. The bells from the nearby tower, although audible, do not disturb sleep. What is particularly noteworthy is the fact that I had a special request that someone fulfilled using their own time and resources, and that is worth its weight in gold these days. Thank you, you are great! I will definitely come back here because it's worth it!"
