A stay that inspires you to uncover the city's origins and local influence in a contemporary space.Nestled in the very heart of China's capital, Wangfujing area, where defined vibrant heartland of Beijing and just steps away from the National Art Museum of China, The Forbidden City and more attractions. Empark Prime Hotel Beijing means home for every traveller. The history of the building can be traced back to the 1950s. It was proposed by the famous patriotic overseas Chinese Mr. Tan Kah Kee and was one of the "top ten buildings in Beijing". In the early 1990s, the original Prime Hotel building was rebuilt and stands up to now, becoming the landmark of Wangfujing Street and engraved in the memory of the times. The brand new Empark Prime Hotel Beijing represents the ultimate lifestyle integrating Chinese aesthetics with modern style and elegance. Staying true to the brand's legacy and traditions, we present the brand's hallmark hospitality with bespoke experiences crafted by our team of hospitality experts, set to bring luxurious flair to the fashionable and dynamic imperial city.

"The Overseas Chinese Hotel, once one of Beijing's 'Top Ten Buildings,' underwent a renovation in 2021 and has been completely transformed. It's now elegant and sophisticated, with numerous artworks displayed in the lobby and public areas. I stayed here last year and was very impressed, so I chose to return for an exhibition at the art museum this time. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive, meeting my needs by upgrading my room and even offering a gift. From the moment I checked in, I felt a warm welcome. The heated pool isn't huge, but it's clean and uncrowded, making for a very pleasant swim. The hotel's location was also convenient for getting to Workers' Stadium for a game in the evening. Overall, a very enjoyable stay."

Hotel near Jinsong and Panjiayuan Area,Beijing
The hotel is a designer type hotel, the design utilizes the concept of “modern bones, natural clothes, oriental soul” for the overall design planning. In the chaotic and impetuous times, through the understanding of life, believe that people belong to nature, superimposed on the Oriental culture teaches us the design principle of less is more, and ultimately through the hotel carrier to euphemize the expression of the return to a healthy, real, natural state of life. The hotel is located in the core area of the East Third Ring Road in Chaoyang District, adjacent to the China World Trade Center, with extremely convenient transportation, only a 10-minute walk from Jinsong subway station.

"The room was clean and the hotel was convenient. The manager was also very helpful. I forgot to ask for his name, but he was worried I wouldn't know how to use the washing machine, so he specifically came upstairs with me to help! There's also a cafe downstairs that I absolutely love! 😊"

Wangfujing Street has been a hub of activity for thousands of years and today the pedestrian pathway remains popular with visitors and residents alike. Offering a stylishRespite amidst the buzz is the new Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel, featuring on artful blend of luxury amenities and distinctive service.Located near Tiananmen Square and Beijing Capital theater, this city center hotel offers Forbidden City views from half of its329 guestrooms, where modern technology blends beautifully with a soothing color palette Guests have easy access to local palette. Guests have easy access to local delicacies along nearby Snack Street, but can also experience contemporary dining at the hotel’s restaurants and bars. The hotel offers the area`s largest ballroom,at 10,006 square feet and five flexible meeting rooms. "This hotel is located on Wangfujing Street, within walking distance of the Forbidden City, and just two bus stops from Tiananmen Square, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The executive lounge was a lifesaver, providing two meals a day and afternoon tea for the elderly and children, saving us the hassle of planning where to eat. The swimming pool was the biggest surprise—it has both a regular pool and a heated children's pool. After swimming, you can even use the sauna in the changing area before heading back to your room feeling refreshed. The service was generally good. The only downside is that the executive lounge is a bit small and the food selection is limited, so I'd recommend having breakfast downstairs. We'll definitely be back, highly recommend!"

GGuest UserThe room was very quiet 👏🏻. They provided beverages, bottled water, coffee, and all the necessary amenities. Ordering takeout was super convenient too, with lots of halal options nearby 😍😋. A robot even delivers your order to the room! 😊 There's a laundry room on the basement floor with individually packaged laundry detergent, and the washing machines are fully functional. My clothes came out smelling great… I highly recommend staying here!

JJIALUFANG.The location is excellent, right next to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. It's also super convenient for dining and shopping at Wangfujing Street, and transportation is a breeze. The hotel itself is filled with a dazzling array of exhibits, which are truly a treat for the eyes. From the lobby to the rooms, the environment is quiet and comfortable. When we checked in, the staff kindly helped us with our luggage to our room, and they were very friendly and polite. Even the cleaning aunties would greet us warmly whenever they saw us. The hygiene was impeccable. Plus, it's really handy that food deliveries can be brought to a dedicated locker downstairs.

GGuest UserWe stayed here during the May Day holiday, and it was quite busy. There was a minor hiccup initially: I had requested a room with a good view when booking, but upon arrival, the designated 13th-floor room with a view wasn't ready. They offered a 11th-floor room with a fire door instead. The front desk staff was very accommodating, saying I could change rooms anytime if I wasn't satisfied. The 11th-floor room did offer a view of the CCTV Tower, but having an internal door made me feel a bit uneasy, so I asked to switch again. They then arranged a quiet room on the 19th floor. The staff throughout this process were incredibly friendly, and their service was prompt and excellent. The room itself was simply decorated but had great facilities, and the water pressure was strong. Even with the May Day crowds, food deliveries were quite timely. The only downside was the exorbitant parking fee. It's 10 yuan an hour for underground parking with no cap. After one night, my parking bill came to 225 yuan. Compared to the room rate of over a thousand, the parking fee was quite painful. Those who need parking should be prepared!

SSiau YongThe hotel upgraded us to apartments in a condominium nearby. The apartments are very spacious, well equipped, secured, and clean. The location is a distance away to the city centre, but with private transport, there's no issue. Nearby the hotel there're some shops, and a row of eateries with local food and local prices. The reception desk staff especially Sunny, Tina and Rebecca are warm, helpful, and responsive. Compliments to their excellent service. The only negative point is the breakfast which is outsourced to an adjacent cafe - the variety should be improved. We took the breakfast only once, and make our own in the apartments for the rest of the stay.

AAnonymous UserFor a trip to Beijing, especially to explore the Forbidden City with its red walls and yellow roofs, staying close by is paramount. Just a stone's throw from the Forbidden City's Donghuamen (East Prosperity Gate), on Nanheyuan Street, stands the Beijing Cuimingzhuang Hotel – a building steeped in history, adorned with green glazed tiles. It's not just a 4-star hotel; it's a piece of history you can actually stay in. **An Unbeatable 'Center Stage' Location: Neighboring the Forbidden City** If you're coming for the Forbidden City or Tiananmen Square, Cuimingzhuang's location is absolutely unbeatable. * **Walking Distance:** Turn left out of the hotel, and in about 3 minutes, you'll reach the Forbidden City's Donghuamen. A leisurely 15-minute stroll along the moat will take you to the Meridian Gate. * **Prime Shopping District:** Turn right, and a few minutes' walk brings you to the bustling Wangfujing Street, offering a full range of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. * **Panoramic Views:** On a clear day, from higher floors, you can even catch a glimpse of the national flag fluttering in Tiananmen Square. Cuimingzhuang is far from a typical modern hotel. Built in the 1930s, its most distinguished role was serving as the headquarters for the CPC delegation to the Military Executive Headquarters in 1946. In 1995, it was designated a Municipal Cultural Relic Protection Unit by Beijing. * **Architectural Style:** Featuring a classical Chinese green glazed tile roof, its main gate is adorned with 49 door-nails, following imperial mansion regulations. Inside, the decor has a dignified 'government building' aesthetic, transporting you back decades in time. * **Mini Museum:** The hotel itself feels like an exhibition hall. Downstairs, old photographs and historical descriptions are displayed, allowing you to feel the weighty 'red memory' as you walk through. **👍 Most Praised Aspects: Security and Local Charm Coexist** * **Top-Notch Security:** Due to its unique location and historical background, there are 24-hour guards or armed police standing sentry at the entrance. This provides a 'great sense of security' for solo travelers and families with children. * **Quiet in the City:** Although located in a bustling area, the guest rooms are well soundproofed, and most rooms are very quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. * **Surrounded by Delicious Food:** Step out of the hotel, and you're in the heart of Old Beijing's culinary scene. Jiumenxuan Roast Duck, Fangzhuanchang Zhajiangmian, Siji Minfu, and Menkuang Luzhu are all within walking distance. Some guests even highly recommend 'Bayuan Shuanyang' (hotpot) in the basement, claiming it's 'many times better than some famous competitors.' * **Attentive Service:** The front desk service is frequently mentioned for its friendly and efficient attitude. Many guests have received complimentary room upgrades, and the rooms are clean and odor-free. * **Decent Breakfast:** The breakfast is a Chinese buffet with a fair variety, but it lacks the sophistication of higher-end hotels, and Western options are limited. **✅ Ideal for:** * **Deep Cultural Enthusiasts:** Those who want to 'live in history' and wake up to a view of the Imperial City. * **'Special Forces' Tourists / Travelers with Elderly or Children:** The prime location saves a lot of travel time, allowing you to return to the hotel to rest whenever you're tired. * **Those Prioritizing Security:** Returning to the hotel late at night and seeing the duty officers at the entrance provides immense peace of mind. * **Drivers:** In the vicinity of Chang'an Avenue and the Forbidden City, this is one of the very few hotels offering free parking – a true blessing for those driving!
