"Xiao Guo at the front desk was incredibly warm and friendly. We arrived early, and she immediately helped us check in quickly. She even upgraded both our families to a suite, which was fantastic – service gets a perfect score! The suite was very spacious, and the two-meter bed was perfect for two adults and a child. The bathroom had a bathtub, and the toiletries were from Atelier Cologne, plus the toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers were all good quality. Despite being on a busy street, it was very quiet. The underground parking garage has Tesla charging stations, and remember to scan a QR code at the front desk for free parking when you leave. Breakfast is on the first floor, and the selection was quite extensive, definitely not as bad as some reviews suggested, and the taste was good too. Overall, we felt it offered excellent value for money. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Intime Department Store and not far from Haining Museum and Ganhe Street."

"Our second stop for Chinese New Year was Yanguan, and choosing the Xuandemen Hotel was a brilliant decision! The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of the scenic area. The complimentary shuttle bus is available on demand, making it incredibly convenient to get around the scenic area and travel to and from the tide-watching spot. It saved us a lot of walking and made our travel experience perfect. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, with both Chinese and Western options. Everything was fresh and delicious, with so many selections to satisfy different tastes. It was a great way to fuel up for a day of exploring. The overall ambiance was elegant and comfortable, making for a fantastic stay. There were so many activities planned for the New Year that we couldn't even get to all of them – we just went with the flow. The resort atmosphere was amazing, and the most unique part was the firsthand tide-watching experience, which was both stunning and unforgettable. The hotel even thoughtfully reminded us of the tidal bore times, which really enhanced the experience."

"Overall, the hotel is excellent, with everything from the scenery to the amenities. It's large, with direct access to the city's scenic spots for NPCs. The hotel and the city are connected. The lobby upon check-in exudes grandeur, and the complimentary tea bar is a thoughtful touch. The infinity pool is perfect for enjoying the night view and is truly charming. Part of the pool's bottom offers a view of the scenery below. The antique-style exterior paired with modern musical elements creates a perfect balance of modern and ancient cultural charm. The House of Music Museum is a favorite with children; even if they're tone-deaf, it doesn't hinder their musical learning. We dined at both the Chinese restaurant on the second floor and the buffet on the fifth floor; the Chinese dishes were a bit salty. The staff were very attentive and remained organized even during the bustling National Day holiday, which is commendable. As for other minor drawbacks, some of which are serious: The hotel is a bit far from the best tide-viewing spots. In other words, while the views are beautiful, it's not ideal for tide-watching. A shuttle bus is required for every trip, but it has a limited capacity, so there's a wait. As an aside, I tried to order takeout but was told it could only be delivered to the Visitor Service Center. I had to take a shuttle to the service center to pick it up. I checked within a 5-kilometer radius and found very few deliveries. It usually took about an hour to get to the service center, which was quite a long time. The air circulation system inside the House of Music Museum isn't working properly, so there's a strange odor. I'll try it again when it's fully developed."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Haining Leather City. The front desk lady even upgraded my room for free, and there were welcome fruits. The breakfast was also good. I'll definitely stay here again next time."

"The room was very clean, and I did not notice any areas that felt dirty during my stay. The location is excellent for anyone who has business at the university. However, for tourists, it may be less convenient, as there is no nearby metro or train station and traveling around requires taking a taxi. For me, since I was visiting a friend who studies at the university, the location was perfect. The staff were cheerful, friendly, and very helpful throughout my stay. The room was well equipped with most of the necessary amenities. The only thing missing was a refrigerator. Surprisingly (and amusingly), there was even laundry detergent provided 😂, which was a nice and unexpected touch."

"I was on a business trip. I left my backpack with Apple laptop, cash in multiple currencies, passport, handphone in it on the side of the street in front of the hotel, where the Didi pick up was.  I realised this only upon arrival of Hangzhou Airport (1 hour+ drive from the hotel). Immediately call the hotel FO and he managed to get it back from the street and safekeeping it until another Didi pick up and send to me in airport. If any management member see this post, please praise the FO. The incident was on 21/1/2025 around 8am. "

"We took our kids to the Qiantang River. After extensive online research and price comparisons, we finally chose this magical hotel—the Hualuxe Haining! Check-in: Upon entering, we were greeted by a large rock, shimmering with water, giving us a gentle, refreshing feeling. The hotel's design and service were impeccable, and the front desk attendant, Owen, was incredibly attentive. Facilities: The accommodations and surroundings are simple and elegant. Hualuxe Hotel has streamlined the experience, making it a truly wonderful experience. 👍👍👍 Family: We brought our 👶🏻 along, and the kids loved the hotel so much they didn't want to leave. 🚗: Parking and transportation were convenient, and the leather market is right next door, making it a great place to explore. All in all, my trip to Haining, the Qiantang River, and the Hualuxe was a perfect experience, far exceeding my expectations. Thanks again to Owen for the welcome fruit; it was fresh and delicious. "There are many hotels in the park. Cheng Shang carefully compared Xuandemen and other high-priced hotels to choose this old city hotel. After checking in, I found that the quality, decoration and cost-effectiveness of the room were all good, and the service was in place! Coupled with the hotel in the park, there are many surprises in the attractions and planning of the park! Although it is also an ancient town, it can be obviously produced from many small places and details. It is really worth recommending!"

The scenery outside the window is picturesque, parking is free, the front desk is efficient, the room is clean and hygienic, there are many people during the festival, and the waiters are still as friendly and enthusiastic as always. "Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room is high-tech, I got an amazing view with floor-to-ceiling windows. There’s a Dyson hair dryer in the room, and the room aesthetics were cool. Hotel is right beside a giant shopping mall (Yintai City), and there are many amenities. Gym and self-service laundry are free and available 24/7, and your room can monitor the progress of the laundry. Overall just super value-for-money and an absolute steal."
