It was simply wonderful! It is undoubtedly the best resort hotel in Portugal, on all levels! I recommend it a thousand times

We were in Pine Cliffs for the second time and we felt the facility, the perfect access to the sea with the lift, the service on the beach as perfect.
The staff and service staff includes Shuttle - service make the stay very pleasant. The cleanliness is particularly highlighted.
The very well maintained facility is exciting. Our 3 room apartment, consisting of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, large living dining room and 3 large, furnished balconies was exclusively equipped. From our balconies we had a super view of the adjacent golf course and could watch the golfers very well during the game :).  

The location is quite good, close to the city's bustling area. The service from the doorman to the front desk was excellent. I was given a high-floor room as requested, which had great facilities and a wide view. The mattress was comfortable for a good night's sleep. As for minor details, there was some dust accumulation in a few corners, and a woman's hair was found on the laundry bag on the bed, but other than that, everything was fine. The breakfast pastries were fantastic, and the server was very polite, guiding me to a window seat, making for a lovely breakfast. When leaving, a staff member by the door used a walkie-talkie to contact a taxi waiting at the intersection to pick me up right at the lobby entrance, which was very thoughtful. Overall, my experience was great, and I recommend it.

This is not the first time we stayed at this hotel (about 3rd or 4th time over the years) so we booked the room type that is fitting. For some reason the reception informed us that we were ”upgraded”. But it turned out it's not really an upgrade except the name of the room (”royal” or something)  which is in fact smaller than our original booking. We called downstairs waiting to change back to our original booking. They agreed to come up and pick up our luggage and show us to our originally booked room. We waited but no one came. Luckily we didn't unpack but frustrated that we had to go downstairs to pick up the keys ourselves. 
Apart from that, the whole stay was enjoyable, with great breakfast service, great Sunday brunch, great swimming pool and so on. And we probably will stay here again next time in Bangkok.
The lesson for others is that do your homework, don't automatically trust any ”upgrades” (maybe the staff genuinely thought it was an upgrade) and demand change right away, don't wait staff to come to you. Sometimes it's their English standards, sometimes it's just their working pace.

The hotel's location is fantastic! The rooms are spacious, clean, and stylishly fresh, offering a comfortable and elegant feel without being overly luxurious. It features smart toilets and Dyson hair dryers. The pool is beautiful and not crowded, and the sauna is comfortable, though it's a shame that children under 17 are not allowed in; my 15-year-old was turned away, so they missed out on that experience. I already knew from previous reviews that disposable toothbrushes and razors cost extra, so that didn't affect us. Breakfast was exquisite, delicious, and diverse. One room even came with a complimentary bottle of red wine, which was quite good. The other suite allowed free access to the bar in the evening, offering unlimited cocktails. There's a whole street downstairs with plenty of shops and eateries, including late-night snacks, which was lovely. Check-out was seamless.

Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel!

First, the **location is superb**. It's right outside Hoehyeon Station, next to Shinsegae Department Store, and just a short walk (a few hundred meters) to the Myeongdong shopping district.

Second, the **service was impeccable**. The security guard at the entrance warmly greeted us and helped with our luggage. Check-in is on the 8th floor, which felt quite grand, and the staff were very attentive.

Last but not least, the **hotel facilities are top-notch**. The decor is a charming European vintage style. Our room was clean and well soundproofed. The double room came fully equipped with both a bathtub and shower, an electric bidet toilet, a coffee machine, and a mini-fridge.

A quick heads-up: the hotel **doesn't provide any toiletries**, so you'll definitely need to bring your own!
