Very nice hotel with friendly front desk staff and neat room with super comfy king size bed! Location not in Changchun downtown centre but easy access to anywhere by DiDi car ride. Quite many restaurants around the hotel but quality was just the local-okay ones. Personal favorite was 王記醬骨頭館 which is 15mins away by car, their Shandong food was superb and good price, we love it! Hotel breakfast was great in the varieties and taste! Yet one of the remarks to the hotel is, the shower gel bottle was totally empty when we checked in the room so my recommendation is if the housekeeping quality can be enhanced it would be a perfect hotel for holiday that we enjoyed so much! It was a good value choice indeed 👍

It was a great experience. We went with our family during the Spring Festival. We arrived a little late, but the parking lot had plenty of spaces, making parking convenient. The hotel lobby was upscale, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. They even arranged for two rooms to be on the same floor – a big thumbs up! Taking the elevator to our room, the hotel corridors were long and spacious. We then went to the restaurant on the first floor for hot pot. Because it was the Spring Festival, they stayed open a little later. We wanted to finish quickly so as not to disturb the staff, but the staff told us not to rush and to eat until we were satisfied. The mini hot pot was excellent, and the meat was very authentic! We were also very satisfied with the room type, and the breakfast the next day was fantastic! It's definitely a great choice for a road trip, as it's very close to the Jilin Provincial Museum, Science and Technology Museum, and Jingyuetan Park! The hotel facilities are also very comprehensive. I'll definitely come again next time.

The overall facilities and service are five-star, and the lobby lounge areas are very well maintained. It felt like there weren't many guests, so the breakfast buffet seemed a bit simple. The hot spring wasn't crowded, and the kids' play area (naughty castle) was quite spacious – perfect for relaxing and entertaining the little ones. We stayed for two nights, and when it was time to check out, my five-and-a-half-year-old son cried and didn't want to leave, saying he wanted to stay for another week. My daughter specifically asked me to extend a special thank you to the staff in the women's hot spring section. They took great care of my eight-year-old daughter while she was changing and showering alone, even helping her blow-dry her hair. Thank you! We hope to have the chance to stay here again when we return to Changchun.

The room was quiet and the heating was excellent. There's a laundry room and gym on the seventh floor. For dining, the hotel has a hot pot restaurant and a Chinese restaurant. There's a food delivery robot on the first floor; you can order takeout and have it delivered directly to your room. It's very close to Metro Line 2; it's less than 200 meters to the left after exiting the hotel, making transportation very convenient.

There are also many shopping malls nearby. My friends and I went to the Sky City Mall and the Middle Eastern Market, which were fun.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right at the entrance of Wuzhishan Scenic Area. The environment is great, and the air in the park is fantastic. The hotel service is also good, all the staff are really nice. They even have parrots and other small animals! The hotel facilities are all decent, but since it's in the mountains, it's definitely a bit damp, and the room had a musty smell. Lastly, I have to complain about the pillows – I'm not sure if it was due to the dampness or if they simply hadn't been changed. I had to ask for a new pillow. Overall, it was a decent experience for a trip with kids, but the cleanliness definitely needs improvement.

Today's hotel: Beijing Yatai Hotel [No. 34, Taiping Road, Haidian District, Beijing]
We checked in at 10 PM on Saturday, December 27th. The front desk was open 24 hours and the check-in was super efficient.

1⃣️Price💰: I booked a Deluxe Standard Room for 390 RMB including breakfast for two and late check-out until 2 PM. The room was 28 square meters, with two 1.2m double beds, excellent natural light, and a spacious feel with a sofa. A very positive experience! ✨

2⃣️Opening Time🕙: Opened in 2003, renovated to five-star standards in 2011. I thought an older hotel would be dated, but it completely exceeded my expectations! It is indeed quite old.

3⃣️Amenities🎧: 24-hour room service was super convenient; the TV could be cast to screens for great viewing; there were charging ports by the bed and desk; the smart air conditioning had precise temperature control; there was a bathtub; the toilet had a strong flush and didn't stick to the walls – excellent attention to detail.

4⃣️Hotel Soundproofing🏡: Soundproofing gets a 4.5 out of 5. Excellent! You can barely hear anything in the hallways. The room windows are well-insulated, and even though it faces the street, it's not noisy. Perfect for light sleepers.

5️⃣Basic Services: Free bottled water; breakfast is a Chinese buffet with a wide variety of steamed buns, porridge, and cold dishes—authentic flavors; free luggage storage and power bank rental at the front desk—super thoughtful service.

6️⃣Nearby Restaurants🍜 + Transportation🚇:

1. Food Delivery: A wide selection of home-style dishes, snacks, and chain restaurants are available nearby. You can even order hot food in the middle of the night—a lazy person's dream! You need to go downstairs to pick up your orders.

2. Transportation: Only 850 meters from Wukesong subway station, a 10-minute walk, super convenient for getting to the city center and the Summer Palace; 4 kilometers from Beijing West Railway Station, a 15-minute taxi ride.

3. Surroundings: Adjacent to Wukesong Arena, super close to concerts; 15-minute walk to 301 Hospital, convenient for medical needs; Yuyuantan Park nearby, great for strolling; shopping district is within easy reach of Gongzhufen by subway.

Drawbacks🙅:

1. No smart toilet in the room, slightly inconvenient for those accustomed to smart bathrooms, but the cleanliness is good and doesn't affect the experience.

2. Parking is free but spaces are limited, easily filling up on holidays, and the attendant's management is sometimes chaotic; out-of-town vehicles are advised to arrive early to secure a spot.

Overall Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 (Four stars, one star less due to outdated facilities and lack of a smart toilet) The price-performance ratio is absolutely amazing, great location, excellent service, clean and comfortable, suitable for students and couples! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing!
