"This hotel is located directly across from Lucerne train station, making its transportation extremely convenient. Perhaps due to its early construction year, many of the facilities and amenities might seem a bit dated, but they are still very well-maintained. The bathrooms were clean, good locker storage space in the hallway and storage space in the room (unsecure). Would stay there again if I'm ever back in Lucerne"

"Wow a wonderful stay! Location super convenient i was extra surprised! 10 minutes walk to the main station, or less by bus, and walking distance to the main attractions. Near to the lake and mountains. Coffee tea provided at the reception. Breakfast with diversity included and good price for a stay during Christmas.
2 twin beds instead of 1 double bed. A bit scary at night cause it’s small and old. But clean and lovely enough for a short stay considering all other factors. I love the bathroom btw, nice amenities tho"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to the train station. It's less than a 5-minute walk; just turn left after exiting the station and cross the road. Upon checking in and arriving at my room, I was surprised to find the door wide open, the windows also wide open, and a trash can sitting on a chair. I went back to the front desk to inquire if the room was still being cleaned. I was told it had already been cleaned, and I was instructed to simply move the trash can myself. Having stayed in numerous hotels both domestically and internationally, this was a first for me. The hotel appears to be newly renovated and is very clean. However, the amenities are quite basic; there's no mini-fridge or electric kettle. Furthermore, the curtains are just a sheer layer, with no blackout option, which definitely affected my sleep."

"Location good. Only a few minutrs walk from Luzern HBF. Room is clean. Love it, when I see how many sockets the room has near the desk and bed-side tables. Very convenient to recharge all the devices. Room temperature is also perfect. I dont need any heating even though I used to get cold easily even during autumn. Helpful and friendly staff at the front desk. Enjoyable experience."

"This was the fifth hotel on my trip to Switzerland. It's two bus stops from the train station, but conveniently located right by the stop, so getting there wasn't an issue. The hotel clearly exudes a rich history and old-world charm, with its luxurious European-style decor. I had a bit of trouble initially finding the right entrance and the front desk within the building. I'd actually booked a city view room, but the front desk upgraded me to a stunning lake view room – seriously, you *must* book a lake view! The terrace views were absolutely breathtaking!! The room itself wasn't huge, but it did have air conditioning. The bathroom was a tad small, mainly due to a large, rather useless cabinet taking up unnecessary space."

So I stayed dekat ibis Hotel Lucerne for 12 days 11 nights with my family and honestly I can say tempat ni sangat strategic.
Bas jalan sikit je depan hotel, nak balik pun boleh naik bas, and train station pun dekat. Kami usually naik bas 2 stops terus sampai Luzern Bahnhof, memang senang gila nak bergerak.
Location hotel ni betul-betul area tengah Tasik Luzern, and the view… cantik gila 😭✨ Kalau tak berkabus musim winter tu, MasyaAllah memang breathtaking. Boleh nampak gunung-ganang surrounding, and yes you can literally see the Alps, plus yang paling gah kat bandar tu mestilah Mount Pilatus 🏔️
Cuma satu je pasal Lucerne, halal food options memang tak banyak. Tapi no worries sebab my family memang selalu ke Zurich, Bern, and other places untuk makan, so still okay 👍
Hotel service memang top tier for our stay. Diorang bagi free train & bus tickets yang cover Zone 10 (Lucerne city only). Kami guna mostly dalam sehari je sebab most of our itinerary dah cover whole Switzerland, but still sangat helpful.
Room pun luas gila, tak kecik langsung macam yang orang selalu expect dari ibis hehe 🤍

"The hotel is a typical old-fashioned hotel with antique decoration and a small elevator. The view of Lake Lucerne is just outside the room window. The breakfast is good. Parking is not very convenient. You cannot park at the door of the hotel. There is a social parking lot opposite that charges a fee (temporary parking is free). There are two hotel-specific parking spaces, but they are often not available. However, there is a public parking lot 300 meters away from the hotel. After checking in, the front desk will inform you of the parking lot location and enter the license plate information, and you can park for free."

AAnonymous UserHotel is a short easy walk of 7-8min from the Lucerne train station.. stayed in a comfortable room with 4 beds and comfortable space for 1 night. Few steps at entrance to Lobby which will need to be a consideration for anyone who needs wheelchair accessibility
Nonetheless, the lovely chirpy receptionist on duty proactively helped us with 1 of the luggage which was a nice gesture. Check in was welcoming... Bathroom was comfortable and clean, bed as well. Only unfortunate thing was the next door started knocking some renovation/works at 8am in the morning... Other than that everything else was lovely. .

LLa_MimiThe hotel is very nice and the rooms are well equipped. Everything is there, also slippers and L'occitane products. The view of the city - if you have a good room - is wonderful. Ah, and the room is very clean !
On the negative side, the bed was uneven, maybe because it was used too much, so sleeping was a bit uncomfortable. Then, the rooms are not so spacious.
For one or two nights, I fully recommend coming here.
I will rather go to a more modern hotel next time because of the uneven mattress.

AAkhorCheck in was pretty fast and easy. The rooms are pretty decent with size, but only allow 2 adults and 1 child on the double bed. Paying for an additional bed for adult costs CHF 80, which is reasonable. However, since I have 2 young kids, I also have to pay for the additional bed. Though not a big deal, but hope hotel can revise the occupancy policy to offer family with 2 young child to stay in without additional costs,
Location wise, it’s fantastic. Next to a university.

The hotel is 4 stars in size and has the same facilities as the domestic express hotel. The room is quite large in Switzerland. The balcony is very nice to see the lake. It takes 8 or 9 minutes to get to the lake. There are more places to eat around, and the bus is still close. Go to the hotel to take the little cable car. The breakfast variety is too small, 30 Swiss francs a person, it is really cheaper, it is the simplest breakfast in the entire Swiss itinerary. The breakfast restaurant can see the lake, it is still good. The overall layout of the hotel is very good, people like it very much, the hotel service is also very good. Specifically, the hotel has a shuttle bus, saying that it can only be sent to the bus station from the hotel, and then take the bus to the train station. The driver actually sent us directly to the train station that day, touching. Lucerne is not big, the hotel location is OK, and it is convenient to go anywhere.

Cons:
A deposit of 100CHF is required every night, and we stayed for three nights, and the deposit was 300CHF. Very unreasonable!
There is no place to hang clothes in the bathroom (no clothes hooks, no small shelves), which is very inconsiderate.
The sound insulation is very poor, especially on Friday and Saturday nights, there are a lot of revelers and drinking noises.

Two suitcases cannot left open at same time.The luggage storage room near the entrance is unlocked, and not kept attended, and my suitcase belt was stolen in a few hours.
