"Value matches the price paid, but the room was missing basic necessities such as tissue paper. The toilet was also not very user-friendly. Overall, it is still acceptable for a budget hotel and we can’t expect too much.
However, one thing that really frustrated me was on the last day. Before we even reached the check-out time, the room card suddenly stopped working and we couldn’t access the lift or our room. This is ridiculous and not acceptable. Why would the hotel deactivate the card before check-out?
Upon bringing this to the attention of front desk, they did not offer any apologies, just help to reactivate and act as if nothing happened."

"This hotel is located directly across from Lucerne train station, making its transportation extremely convenient. Perhaps due to its early construction year, many of the facilities and amenities might seem a bit dated, but they are still very well-maintained. "The hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to the train station. It's less than a 5-minute walk; just turn left after exiting the station and cross the road. Upon checking in and arriving at my room, I was surprised to find the door wide open, the windows also wide open, and a trash can sitting on a chair. I went back to the front desk to inquire if the room was still being cleaned. I was told it had already been cleaned, and I was instructed to simply move the trash can myself. Having stayed in numerous hotels both domestically and internationally, this was a first for me. The hotel appears to be newly renovated and is very clean. However, the amenities are quite basic; there's no mini-fridge or electric kettle. Furthermore, the curtains are just a sheer layer, with no blackout option, which definitely affected my sleep."

The bathrooms were clean, good locker storage space in the hallway and storage space in the room (unsecure). Would stay there again if I'm ever back in Lucerne"

The staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out quick and easy. The location is excellent — close to the train station and within walking distance of the old town, Lake Lucerne, and major attractions.
Overall, this hotel is a great choice for travelers looking for good value, convenience, and reliability in Lucerne. I would definitely stay here again."

"Excellent location. Close to Chapel Bridge, Altstadt & the tram-stop to the Main Train Station is less than 5 mins walk from the hotel.
Room is amazing. Bed is comfy & warm. Stayed on a higher floor where there's a balcony 😍
Breakfast was the basics, nothing fancy...but spread was good enough to kickstart your day. I'm grateful breakfast came with room.

"We arrived to the hotel at 12, but all locker are fully occupied (i remember only around 10 lockers) and I have to carried the luggage and wait for check in nearby the river (lucky not too far) and there is no air-con in the room but hotel do provide a fan for us but still too hot to sleep with.
But the location is very good and hotel provide a free transportation ticket (never used cause we walked)"

The location is incredibly convenient, being very close to Lucerne train station and all the major attractions, with a bus stop right outside. I absolutely loved the hotel's decor. The room was very spacious, and they provided a full range of amenities including shower caps, slippers, shampoo, and shower gel. (Toothbrushes and toothpaste, however, need to be requested from the front desk.) Plus, there were complimentary snacks and drinks specially prepared for guests!
The hotel breakfast was delicious, and if you're not keen on the buffet, they also offer an à la carte menu. Additionally, the hotel also boasts exceptionally delicious Chinese cuisine (though be warned, it's quite expensive).
The hotel is right by Lake Lucerne, and it's truly idyllic to just sit on the balcony, feel the breeze, and enjoy a drink when you have some downtime. 😌 Overall, this is easily the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in Switzerland.
The only drawback? It's a bit pricey, haha!

The location is ideal and walking distance about 10mins to the main train station. The buffet breakfast spread is also good.

LLa_MimiThe hotel is very nice and the rooms are well equipped. Everything is there, also slippers and L'occitane products. The view of the city - if you have a good room - is wonderful. Ah, and the room is very clean !
On the negative side, the bed was uneven, maybe because it was used too much, so sleeping was a bit uncomfortable. Then, the rooms are not so spacious.
For one or two nights, I fully recommend coming here.
I will rather go to a more modern hotel next time because of the uneven mattress.

PPENGThe pictures are all views from the window. See the beautiful scenery of Lake Lucerne. Because it is this, we evaluate 5 stars. The hotel is 4 stars in size and has the same facilities as the domestic express hotel. The room is quite large in Switzerland. The balcony is very nice to see the lake. It takes 8 or 9 minutes to get to the lake. There are more places to eat around, and the bus is still close. Go to the hotel to take the little cable car. The breakfast variety is too small, 30 Swiss francs a person, it is really cheaper, it is the simplest breakfast in the entire Swiss itinerary. The breakfast restaurant can see the lake, it is still good. The overall layout of the hotel is very good, people like it very much, the hotel service is also very good. Specifically, the hotel has a shuttle bus, saying that it can only be sent to the bus station from the hotel, and then take the bus to the train station. The driver actually sent us directly to the train station that day, touching. Lucerne is not big, the hotel location is OK, and it is convenient to go anywhere.

However, the service provided during the night shift was disappointing. Shortly after midnight, I contacted the front desk for assistance with locating an Apple Store or confirming the train route to the airport, as my phone screen had just been damaged. The staff member on duty displayed impatience and a clear unwillingness to communicate. He repeatedly told me not to worry in front of him and to “figure it out myself,” which was both unhelpful and unprofessional. His information was also inconsistent—first claiming the Apple Store near the train station could repair phones, then insisting there was no Apple Store in the area.
When I approached the reception directly for further assistance, he again refused to help. By contrast, the morning receptionist was courteous, patient, and provided clear guidance, including the fact that a train transfer was required to reach the airport—details the night staff had not mentioned.
It is unfortunate that one staff member’s attitude overshadowed an otherwise positive experience. With more consistent and professional service across all shifts, this hotel would be an excellent choice for travelers.

GGuest UserIt's a prison converted hotel, more like a hostel. Location is great, 10 minute's walk from train station. The room is very small, although our room has the toilet. Two suitcases cannot left open at same time.The luggage storage room near the entrance is unlocked, and not kept attended, and my suitcase belt was stolen in a few hours.

Based on these two points, I decided to book this hotel
After checking in, I can borrow adapters and kettles from the counter, which is convenient
Cons:
A deposit of 100CHF is required every night, and we stayed for three nights, and the deposit was 300CHF. Very unreasonable!
There is no place to hang clothes in the bathroom (no clothes hooks, no small shelves), which is very inconsiderate.
The sound insulation is very poor, especially on Friday and Saturday nights, there are a lot of revelers and drinking noises.
