The property is on an easily accessible private road. There is plenty of parking and can also accommodate a snowmobile trailer setup. Access the VAST right from the house and ride to restaurants/bars or head out to Somerset Reservoir.Mount Snow is only a few minutes away for winter sports or golfing and many other events in the summer.Bed sheets, pillow cases & bath towels are NOT provided. Renters have to bring their own. We do have comforters & pillows there. The space:This is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath chalet with a loft (above the dining room) and there is a “tv room” addition. One bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has two bunk beds (full/twin - twin/twin setup). The loft has two twin beds. In the addition, there is a pull out sleeper style couch. The living room has two futons for additional sleeping(full size). The kitchen is fully equipped & has an island and stools. There is also a dining area with a table for 5. There is one Smart TV in the addition, but we do not have cable. We do have wifi. There is a tv in the queen bedroom that is not a smart tv (we do have a dvd player or you can bring your own amazon fire stick or something like that to try and plug in. Same with the small tv by the lamp that is in the other living area by the kitchen) Other things to note:We have no real driveway. Just park anywhere in the front yard. There is plenty of parking even for snowmobile trailer setups. If you end up staying during a snow storm, you might be asked to move vehicles to allow our plow company to move snow. While we do have the fastest wifi they offer in the area, please note it is not the best or most reliable!Mount Snow is a few minutes down the road.Stratton Mountain is about 20 minutes away.The town of Wilmington is about 15 minutes away and has shopping and many dining options.The town of Manchester is 45 minutes away and has the Manchester Designer Outlets.Jamaica State Park is 25 minutes away.About pets:No pets allowed.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Please DO NOT wear shoes or boots upstairs! An outdoor motion sensor camera is active for your own security, it points out to the entrance and driveway.Jacuzzi facts and best practices:The water is tested for its PH and cleaned between each guest by professionals, which could be done twice a week during the busy season.No guests are allowed to add any chemicals of any sort to the jacuzzi or it will change the right balance of the water and may turn it into a darker color.The water in the Mount snow village comes from 2 wells tested regularly by the Vermont water authority and has a high level of metal which is totally safe but sometimes can result in cloudy or GREEN water in the Jacuzzi.CLOUDY WATER DOESN'T MEAN DIRTY WATER!Each guest is expected to shower prior to using the tub. Body sweat, deodorant, or alcohol drops in the Jacuzzi will have consequences on the quality of the water.Professionals always recommend a maximum of 20 min experience in the water when the temperature is above 100 degrees.Do not leave the spray jets on after leaving the tub.Consuming alcohol while in the Jacuzzi is highly not recommended.No glass bottles, nor glassware nearby the edge of the tub are allowed. If we found broken glasses in the tub or nearby the tub, that would be considered a severe breach of contract compromising the return of the deposit.The jacuzzi has no steps to go down so please be careful.We recommend that no kids under 7 should be in the water without any adult supervision.Certainly, no kids of any age who do not know how to swim should be left alone with no adult supervision.The Jacuzzi is not a swimming pool, so staying longer than 20 mins in + 100 degrees warm water is not recommended by health professionals.The Jacuzzi is not a bathtub to wash your hair or body, any shampoo, conditioner, or body wash will compromise severely the water quality.Stepping on the soft cover is not allowed.
