This beautiful log cabin is located half way between Genoa and Viroqua and sits 900’ off the road on 20 rolling acres. Just 14 minutes to the Mississippi River for bass & walleye fishing, water fowl or boating. The Log Cabin features 8 queen beds! There are 3 bedrooms each with a queen bed. A small bonus room upstairs offers a queen bed and there’s a pullout sofa on the main floor, with a quality queen mattress. There are also 3 queen beds in the walkout basement. There is a nice full bath upstairs and half bath down stairs. The tiled entryway is a great place to hang up waders and put gear. The full kitchen with refrigerator, range & microwave is stocked with utensils and cookware. There’s a breakfast nook off the kitchen for eating together. You can relax in front of the fireplace while in the living room on the leather couch or in a lawn chair by the bonfire. The full walkout basement has a washer and dryer and extra space. If the weather doesn’t cooperate just grab a drink, head into the barn/garage to play a game of bags. The barn has plenty of storeage for a vehicle, UTV/ATV or a boat. Our Log Cabin has fast Wi-Fi and 70” streaming TV to settle in and watch your favorite show. The Lisney Grand Log Cabin is located in S.W. Wisconsin in one of the most scenic parts of the state, commonly referred to as the “Driftless Region”. Imagine relaxing in a large 1,500 sq. ft. Amish built log cabin with a grand wrap-around porch overlooking the Kickapoo Valley Reserve State Park (6,800 acres). You may find yourself sitting on the porch swing with a good book, occasionally interrupted by white tail deer, Sandhill cranes, wild turkeys or bald eagles. There is large backyard for your kids to play in. A grill and fire ring is provided. Local firewood is available for purchase at $20 per wheel barrow.Inside on the first floor is an open floor plan with a cathedral ceiling, and 2 private bedrooms and a full porcelain tile bathroom with tub/shower, sink, toilet and unlimited supply of hot water. The kitchen is fully furnished with all the cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and modern stove and refrigerator. Just bring your family’s favorite foods. Separate bins are provided for recycling. We are inspected by the State of Wisconsin each year and licensed. We have CO2, and smoke detectors as well as fire extinguishers throughout the cabin. Cabin has both A/C and heat year-round. Original art and antiques can be found throughout the cabin, some even for sale.Upstairs is a sleeping loft with 6 additional beds (cabin can sleep 10 in total).The area is an outdoor lover’s paradise offering a plethora of family geared activities close by; such as bird watching, hiking, biking, camping, fishing, hunting, kayaking, skiing, snowmobiling and horseback riding. There are also scenic country roads following the winding Kickapoo River, populated by Amish farms and local artisan shops selling anything from cheese to cut flowers. Many wineries in the area offer tasting rooms and sell their local product. And if that is not enough, several miles down the road is Wildcat Mountain State Park with magnificent trails and look-outs.
