The hot tub is literally 2O yards away and looks out on horses and Stratton mountain with the setting sun behind!! We have a lovely fire pit so you can do s’mores right after the hot tub! Just remember to bring marshmallows because the grocery store closes early!!!Kitchen: We have a hot plate set up so it’s not a full kitchen...We have you covered on dish ware but think of Fernandos as get up and make yourself an egg and toast kind of a place. This isn’t the cabin for Thanksgiving dinner! That said, I have seen people get very creative on a double hot plate!Centrally located within 10min to a BIG grocery store, awesome butcher shop, hardware store, and pharmacy. We are sandwiched between VT’s finest ski mountains so take your pick!! Fernando’s cabin is a hidden gem and is often described as being the most relaxing, romantic, and cozy cabin in the woods EVER!!!What could be better than falling asleep in the trees and wakingup to birds singing around you or in winter to a pristine layer of fresh pow!! Cleanings:Our cleaning and linen fee is there to allow our cleaning lady to fully disinfect, clean, do laundry, fold linens and get the bathrooms and kitchen to sparkle. We charge just a bit more these years for all the changes we have experienced from Covid, property tax hikes and STR taxes. Hope you understand. Expect a visit from our Coy fish or our black lab Simón!The Pond Treehouse has a sauna just a few yards away!! The private hot tub is also directly under your porch!! You won’t run out of land to explore!!Guest review: "All in all, we loved our stay in this beautiful treehouse in remote Vermont. The location was somewhat out of the way, making for a very peaceful stay and beautiful stars to view through the 'skylight' above the bed. There's not a lot to do in the area, and not a ton of restaurants super close by, but a little driving made it worthwhile. The hot tub was fabulous.The one thing I would suggest is to put some curtains on the large French doors leading to the balcony right outside of the bedroom area.It feels very invasive without them - we rigged up a blanket to cover the window, as right outside of those doors is a large farmhouse, also rented. The only way to get up to the house is a winding metal staircase, which was super cool, but would be difficult for folks with mobility issues. Enjoy the entire house of 2200 sq ft. This two floor chalet is located on two private wooded acres just 6 miles from Mount Snow Resort. Only a short drive to skiing and snowboarding. The historic town of Wilmington is 5 miles south providing many restaurants, shopping, groceries, and local artist’s studios. Stop at Valley Craft Ales or buy local maple syrup. Very fast fiber optic WiFi-300mbps. Plus filtered water through the entire house (5 micron/KDF/Carbon).The house is very family friendly with lots of games to choose from, a 55” tv with Netflix, Disney+, Prime, Apple TV, Peacock, and Hulu ready to watch. A 7’ air hockey table provides for additional entertainment in a separate building. A high chair, pack and play, kids stool, and a bin of toys are all available for the kids.Sleep comfortably in three bedrooms with queen memory foam mattresses, and twin bunk beds. The house has privacy for 8 people. There is separate heat control in all three bedrooms. All bedding, pillows, and sheets are provided and all the beds are made prior to arrival. Lots of amenities included to provide the feel of home. On the 2nd floor there is a large dining table for 8, a galley kitchen with fridge, breakfast counter, microwave, coffe maker, toaster, electric stove and oven. Soft leather furniture provides lots of seating upstairs to relax by the vented propane fireplace. Enjoy the quiet of Vermont, read, or play music and relax with many games to choose from. The 2nd floor bath has multiple shower nozels to provide full body spray. Dont forget to flip the Instant hot air heater on to avoid any chills during the winter.This house has very specific cleaning and disinfecting procedures to provide a very clean home for all guests.
