Hotels in Daxiaohe Street/Liuye Lake Tourist Resort, Changde

I received a complimentary room upgrade, and the room was incredibly spacious and quiet. The hotel staff provided excellent service. While the breakfast selection was a bit limited, everything else was superb. Plus, the location is fantastic, very close to German Town and River Street.

1️⃣ The service from waitresses Xiao Yang and Shan Shan was excellent. 2️⃣ This is the first Orange Crystal hotel in Changde, currently in its trial operation phase, so it doesn't participate in Huazhu's benefits program. However, the service level is truly impeccable; as a Changde local, I felt very welcome staying here. 3️⃣ There are three washer-dryer combos, and the washing and drying performance is excellent. They also offer laundry service. The gym has two treadmills, one elliptical trainer, and one rowing machine. I hope they can add some simple dumbbells. 4️⃣ The breakfast was very good. Having stayed at a 0.5 version of Orange Crystal in Changsha the day before yesterday, I still feel that newer versions are always better. 5️⃣ Because it's newly opened, there's a slight smell of renovation. Ventilation needs to be improved. 6️⃣ The hotel's location is excellent; it's right next to Changde Pedestrian Street and Wuling Pavilion. I hope the hotel continues to improve! But the 1919 was hidden in the street like a quiet page of a book caught in the noise. The moment the door was pushed in, the light suddenly darkened. Not dim, it is a carefully calculated dark background wall, warm yellow wall lamp, walnut texture, brass handle reflected fine shreds. The sun cut in from a window slanted in, and the warm light in the room, forming a natural contrast between the light and the dark. Many hotels do retro things and like to pile things: carved flowers, old ornaments, complicated wallpaper. It is the opposite. It fills the atmosphere with light and shadow and medieval furniture, walnuts and brass. You walk in the corridor and feel that every light is specially played for you, but not deliberately. Simple, but strong. This is probably the sense of proportionality of design. The outdoor public area is a red brick wall on the whole side, surrounded by a quadrilateral patio. You look closely at the red brick method like the small buildings of old houses in Shanghai, but look up to see the sky surrounded by eaves, the old Changde eaves house. Two memories stacked together and sat there quietly. Sitting under the patio, the sun slowly moved from one end to the other, turned a few pages of books, and was in a daze, and slipped away in an afternoon. Time is not “sent” but “indulged”. The rooms are a good size, but everything feels taken care of. The washing is L'Occitane herbal series, the herbal aroma is mixed with hot water vapor, and the whole portrait is soaked into a forest. The bedding is soft but not collapsed. After the curtains are pulled, listening to the small voice of the occasional walking crowd, the dark light just wraps people in sleep. From public space to room, it doesn't ”show off” - it's telling you quietly: You can relax. Don't want to go too far, and disappear from work and trivia? From Xi'an to Hainan by car, I stayed at the Liyi Hotel. I found a very good hotel according to the high-scoring standards. It was clean and tidy. Parking was convenient. The back was the German town. It was very convenient to eat, live and travel. The towels and bedding were white. The service staff was warm and thoughtful. The park behind the hotel, The scenery is pleasant, you can go for a walk after dinner, very satisfied, Changde is a beautiful city.

The Hotel, service and amenities were great. The food was good and plentiful. A special thanks to Li Y on reception who went above normal assistance to help us enjoy our stay with help and getting transport. The Daxiaohe St and River Sts were fantastic and friendly.

I strongly recommend the river view room. The wide view will change your mood... You can almost see the whole river street. We went to the river street, and the front desk took the initiative to introduce it to us. The room attendant was also very enthusiastic. The room was clean and hygienic, and the price-performance ratio was very good! I really felt at home.

The room is large, the facilities are some years old, and the management staff and service staff are less. Don't want to eat at the hotel, you need to drive outside to eat. Breakfast food is quite rich.
