This garden hotel is absolutely stunning! The garden is like a huge energy field; a walk through it every evening recharges you. A big thank you to the lovely front desk lady who arranged a beautiful room with a direct view of the garden – it was so refreshing to open the window each day. The swimming pool is also fantastic! It's deep and spacious, with excellent water quality, making for a truly enjoyable swim. The room was cleaned promptly, and the housekeepers thoughtfully left four bottles of water, all neatly arranged! I was able to add the butler on WeChat, and during my five-night stay, I received fruit for three days, and two cans of coffee as a farewell gift! Our room rate included breakfast and dinner, and for all five nights, the food at the restaurant was consistently excellent! The Yunnan local dishes, in particular, were so delicious they almost brought tears to my eyes! The rice noodles were incredible, with four different types of toppings! I had rice noodles for both breakfast and dinner! The fruit selection was also abundant, with seven or eight varieties. I especially loved their freshly squeezed juices, particularly the cucumber juice. And they have an Indian chef whose flying bread and curry are simply divine! The location is superb! A short walk through Haigeng Hall leads you directly to Haigeng Dam, making it incredibly convenient to see the seagulls! Xishan and Haihong Wetland are also not far, perfect for a leisurely stroll. I hope to stay at InterContinental Hotel again on my next visit to Dianchi Lake. The quality and service far exceeded my expectations!

Facilities: I really love the hotel's subtle Nanyang-style charm, especially the super-large balcony with a rocking chair. In the evening, the whole family can sit on the balcony, listen to the breeze, chat, and soak in Kunming's slow pace. Cleanliness: The cleanliness is impeccable. I have a slight obsession with cleanliness, especially sensitive to any odors in bedding. But even a Virgo with a clean freak personality wouldn't find a single flaw here. This deserves high praise! 👍🏻 Environment: The hotel is located within a tourist area, offering a tranquil escape from the bustling city. Although it faces the street, it's not noisy. Dining and leisure options nearby are very convenient. For ease of travel, the hotel even arranges a private car transfer service to and from the drop-off/pick-up points, which is so thoughtful! ❤️ Additionally, for hiking enthusiasts, the nearby Dianchi Caohai and Dongfeng Dam are fantastic places to visit, with breathtaking scenery. Service: 💯. From arrival to departure, the butler provided meticulous care almost throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we were immediately offered hot towels and fresh flower cakes, and our room had welcome fruit. For breakfast the next day, we could customize our order before 8 PM the previous evening, with a rich variety of delicious and healthy options! Overall Impression: A very satisfying stay, especially enjoyed by the children. Fantastic!

Highly recommend the Mengjing Mong Kok Hotel! The location is excellent, close to Dianchi Lake, making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing. The front desk staff are warm and thoughtful, and check-in was efficient. The rooms are clean and tidy, spacious, with soft and comfortable bedding, and excellent soundproofing. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water supply is stable. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and they even offer a thoughtful complimentary late-night sweet soup. Overall, it's great value for money and a top choice when visiting Kunming. I'll definitely stay here again!

This is the second time I’ve booked this hotel and also the second time I’m impressed with the hotel service. I’ve touched down Kunming too early and since I’m tired from late night flight, I head straight to the hotel after I’ve landed although I understand check in cannot be so early. The concierge was nice to allow me and my partner to enjoy breakfast (we booked stay with breakfast) while waiting for guests to check out as their hotel was fully booked. Right after our breakfast, the concierge saw us and quickly chased up the cleaning staff to tidy up the room asap so guests can check in earlier. I appreciate their thoughtfulness in this and was lucky to check in in the morning although the stated check-in time is 2pm. I also appreciate the cleaning staff attentiveness to us as we prefer the room to be clean up every 2 days instead of daily. (We book 4 nights there). She keeps checking in with us as she is worried we run out of drinking water, tissue paper, toilet roll and clean towel almost every morning. On our last day, we came back to our room around late afternoon and she thoughtfully hang a laundry bag filled with drinking water bottles and even new pack of tissue on our door. (We leave do not disturb button on while we went out.) The hotel staff at lobby was also very attentive when we get out of Didi outside in the rain, he runs towards us with umbrella to shield us from rain. I also enjoy hotel breakfast very much as I arrived in Kunming with weak stomach and needed non spicy and easy food to ingest. They provided a great range of food that suits foreigners, children and even sick adults like me. Thank you Dianyu Yunling, I know I can trust this hotel’s service level and will return to this hotel again for my next Kunming trip!

The hotel's overall design seems quite old, and I'm not sure if it's been renovated since. However, the hygiene was good, the service was fine, and the breakfast was excellent with lots of local dishes. Although the hotel garden isn't very large, it has many small animals, making it perfect for kids. There's also a family of black cats, which are incredibly cute. It's a shame the pool wasn't usable; considering Kunming's temperatures, it probably only gets a few usable days a year, which feels like a bit of a waste.

The hotel facilities are complete and meet daily accommodation needs. The hygiene is excellent; the entire place is very clean and tidy. The environment is also great, very quiet, and I had a wonderful rest. The staff are very warm and attentive, and they patiently resolved any issues promptly. The cleanliness is top-notch. I was very satisfied with my stay, a truly satisfying experience. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

First, let's talk about the good things: 1. The room didn't have any strange odors, at least not the one we stayed in on the third floor. I didn't ask my parents on the second floor. Overall, the hygiene was very clean. 2. It was quiet and soundproof, not noisy as some previous reviews mentioned. 3. The facilities were well-designed and convenient, really good. Now, for the less satisfying aspects: 1. The breakfast was very mediocre. I hadn't booked breakfast through Trip.com initially, but later bought it for two days. Eating it, I felt it wasn't worth the price. The rice noodles were very bland, and the other dishes were also very common, basic, and inexpensive items. My child didn't eat much, and I didn't find anything I liked, so I barely ate either. Honestly, it wasn't worth 40 yuan. 2. The service felt like a strange mix of enthusiasm and inadequacy. It seemed like the staff were well-trained, performing all the necessary service actions, but when it came to specific issues, they didn't handle them very well. One evening, I asked for boxed milk for my baby. The first day, they gave me one, and then I asked for another, considering the baby might drink it in the middle of the night or in the morning – it was a high-quality milk brand. The next day, I went to ask again, thinking the baby might not eat breakfast tomorrow, so I wanted three. The front desk staff rambled on, implying they didn't have the authority to give three, that it required going through inventory, and could only give two, and even then, only because I was a Gold member. The awkward part came when they searched around and couldn't find any. Then, they put two cups of milk in disposable containers and heated them. To be honest, I would have preferred the front desk to say something like, ”We'll restock in a bit and bring it up to your room.” Milk can't be left out for more than two hours, so we ended up going to a convenience store 200 meters away to buy some ourselves. The second issue was the poor handover and note-taking at the front desk. We had two orders for two days. Upon check-in, we were told to just swipe the key card again on the second day. When I called the front desk because I had stained the bedsheet and pillow (sudden menstruation in the middle of the night) and reminded them to change the bedding, mentioning the menstrual stains, hoping to avoid inconvenience when the baby returned around 3 PM for a nap, the front desk surprisingly thought we hadn't booked in advance and were trying to extend our stay on short notice, telling us rooms were tight. We were quite annoyed and said, ”We've already booked this in advance. It's ridiculous to tell me now there are no rooms to extend.” Only then did the front desk check again and understand the situation. When we returned to the room that evening, we found the sheets and duvet cover had been changed, but the pillow stain hadn't been dealt with. The third thing was that we were self-driving and needed to register our license plate. Every 24 hours, it needed to be redone. We registered around 3 PM on the first day, and by 6 AM the next day, they wanted us to re-register. They told us it hadn't been 24 hours yet, so we couldn't register. We then said it had been long enough, and only then did they register it. In short, the routine procedures were done perfectly, but resolving specific issues felt awkward and clumsy. The front desk lady mentioned giving a gift for a good review, but based on my actual experience, I genuinely can't give a good review for the service.

For my vacation in Kunming this time, I chose the Wyndham Grand Kunming Park 1903, and my stay far exceeded expectations. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting the Spring City. The hotel's location is excellent, situated within the Park 1903 French commercial district. You can go shopping and take photos right outside the door. It's only about a ten-minute drive from Haigang Dam and Yunnan Nationalities Village, and close to Metro Line 5, making it very convenient for exploring, dining, and getting to and from attractions. The hotel is newly opened, and the overall environment is clean and grand. The lobby is simple yet elegant, making you feel comfortable the moment you step in. The front desk staff are warm and professional, handling check-in efficiently and quickly. They also proactively introduced us to nearby attractions and responded promptly to our needs, providing thoughtful and attentive service. Our room was spacious and bright, with smart home controls throughout – we could turn lights on/off and adjust curtains with just our voice, which felt very high-tech. The mattress was a Simmons, with just the right firmness, making it incredibly relaxing to lie on. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom was equipped with a full set of Hansgrohe facilities, with stable and ample hot water and a wet/dry separation design. The toiletries were of high quality. The room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust even in the corners. Opening the window offered beautiful views of the Western Hills and Dianchi Lake. The public facilities are also very comprehensive, with a self-service gym and laundry room, so there are no worries for longer trips. There's also free parking, which is a great convenience for self-driving guests. The variety of room types is extensive, suitable for couples, families, and business travelers. Overall, the hardware is brand new, and the service is warm, catering to both leisure and business travelers. For its location in the 1903 commercial district, the quality-to-price ratio is excellent. Whether you're visiting Kunming for tourism or a short business trip, this Wyndham Grand is an excellent place to stay. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Kunming!

The hotel is located in 1903, which is very convenient for travel and shopping. The breakfast ingredients are fresh and taste great. The room has good lighting and is very comfortable. There is a self-service laundry room on the second floor, as well as a gym. The service of the front desk and the cleaning lady is also great. It will definitely be the first choice when I come to Kunming next time.

This hotel deserves more than five stars! The location is fantastic, right across from Haigeng Park, offering breathtaking sunset views. You can even catch rainbows and the Tyndall effect during sunset. The hotel is very clean, and the breakfast spread is excellent. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip.
